    I’m glad to see you were sent a replacement. I recently did the same thing you did to a Handing magic L rod. I asked the company if I could purchase a new forward section of the rod I did not ask for a free replacement. I was offered 10% off the purchase of a new rod due to them not providing replacement rod sections. I won’t be using their 10% discount nor will I be purchase another Handing rod. I accept the black ame for the breakage but I don’t feel I put undue stress on the rod tip for it to break. Live and learn, now I’m looking for a new affordable “budget”rod. Thanks for the video.

    Allone from seeing how you lose the snag i can say its not the rod fault it was your fault xD dont want they its only that but its def a big point on this tipbroke

      could be - the point remains out of 40+ BFS rods now, these are 2 out of the 3 that have broken. And neither of those made it past 2 trips... several of mine have 50+ trips in all conditions, no issues.

    Thanks for the advice about keeping them in the case when not in use. I just got my 7' Venom and a Dark Wolf Ultra delivered yesterday. We'll have to see how well it holds up over time. That said, I was surprised to see just how well it casts a 1/32 oz. Mule jig when testing it out in the back yard.

    • @AaronHuntFishing

      Absolutely. They are great rods for the price, and truly cast light weights well. But not sure if I was unlucky or delicateness is the tradeoff. Enjoy!

    I appreciate your feedback. I’ve had terrible luck reaching ace hawk I simply get the “hi dear, yadda yadda yadda” reply. Do you have any other tips to reach their customer service?

    • @AaronHuntFishing

      Not really - I reached out through AliExpress. Was kind of happy with their response. Sorry you're having an issue (like I did) - this rod really seems high risk / reward.

    I had the kuying teton 66L and it was ok...quality was Less than good. The line guides were off like way off on both rods but they fished alright. I stumbled upon Legit design wild side rods and they are fantastic...superb quality they fish awesome and all the rods in the line up have they're own individual custom features. I have the pleasure of owning 3 the 6'9MH has a moderate slow taper and is still plenty sensitive...more sensitive than most rods IMO...it also has an unsanded unpainted blank that detaches from a solid cork handle. The 6'4xh big bait special finesse rod has double footed Titanium guides all the way up with a solid eva foam handle and then my favorite is the 6'4L bait finesse rod that rod has a cork eva split grip and its just so light and sensitive...has such a beautiful taper and fishes wonderfully. I love those rods..they were truly eye opening for me in terms of taper to sensitivity...we don't need a fast or extra fast rod to do bottom contact or to be sensitive. It's all in the craftsmanship quality and materials used to make these works of art.

    • @AaronHuntFishing
      @AaronHuntFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed on both counts. I was underhwlemed by the Kuying. Almoste veryone seems high on it - I actually encourage people not to buy it.
      As far as well built rods - yeah, they are a complete different level of fishing fun. Glad you found some you like. Appreciate the comment and the consistent support.

    I broke the tips off of two of these rods. Both while fishing. I think they’re just a little too fragile at the tip.

    • @AaronHuntFishing
      @AaronHuntFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ok - same as me - although i did find the tip of the second one in the garage. Hopefully we both had bad luck, but maybe this weill become a trend. and THIS is EXACTLY why I like to do long-term reviews. It's not the easiest, but sometimes it matters.

    Hi, I have a question regarding that rod. I want to try BFS, I'm fishing only on lakes. What is your opinion regarding length? Should I go for short or long model?

    • @AaronHuntFishing
      @AaronHuntFishing  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Long, most definitely. Unless you're fishing from a boat (I'd still pick long becaise I'm tall). But the longer rod will give you a bit more casting distance and leverage to fight the fish from the bank.

    • @stefaca
      @stefaca 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AaronHuntFishing I'm fishing from a bank so I assumed that longer is better. At the moment I'm using 210cm UL spinning rod, 5g casting. It is just for a small perch, small pike.
      Thanks a lot for your advice and help.

    Great video!! I had a Venom tip snap, and a Kuying TTC 60UL tip snap also. For a few dollars each you can reglue a new tip and they both work fine. Doc 1/5

      Depnding on how long you've had it, also check on a replacement from Ace Hawk. The Delicacy seems to be gaining momentum as one of the top budget BFS rods for sure.

    @garylake998 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Aaron,
    I also broke the tip on mine (6ft), unlike you it was my fault, but it may also stem from the tip being so thin, on another subject. Are any of the models your working on in the spinning category?

    • @AaronHuntFishing
      @AaronHuntFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, technically one of the prototypes has been adapted into a spinning model. I'll shoot you an email with the details today. I have your email address. Appreciate the support.

      @AaronHuntFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. I enjoy doing honest reviews. So far I haven't done the reviews of anyhting that really was bad - but maybe I should in the future. But so far I've just chosen to not give them publicity. I always try to find the positives though and just provide the caveats.

      That is very common design for the Asian multi piece rods in general. That is how they are designed.

    Did the updated version of your rod tip break as well?

    • @AaronHuntFishing
      @AaronHuntFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It did! After several trips. But I didn't realize it until filming the review that it had broken between the last trip and filming. I did find it on the garage floor... But many people have apparently had no issues. It's a great rod - with that one asterisk on possible durability.
