From a game design standpoint, I love the Jester. Even If you don't know what it is or what it does, you instinctively know "once song ends, something happens" and that's great.
I will make a mod that it’s just a long hallway with this behind you, you’re stuck until the pop happens, and when the Chad begins you realize it’s not one. It’s ten. And the chase is impossible as it will slowly catch up. And despite all you try you will always die at the end.
I had a jester experience last night with randoms where it started winding up on the doorway blocking our way out of the building and all of us survived miraculously.
Us and the boys figured out a genius way to deal with that situation which is by rapidly spinning on the spot which if the guy in the ship goes “huh that doesn’t seem right” and hopefully will teleport you
I’ve seen jesters block doors probably 4 times now from several different TH-camrs. I honestly think it’s an intended mechanic and not just y’all getting unlucky.
@@cowuwu1 That's pretty clever, unfortunately we just used up all our money to land in Dine that time. We couldn't afford the teleporter. I remember waiting on the next room while the jester was winding up and I just started to run for my life when I heard it run past me. I honestly thought at least one of us would die at that time, I guess we were pretty lucky.
I was playing in a lobby, and the idiot at the terminal teleported my friend with the shovel and flashlight while I was in the mansion in Rend (or whatever it’s called) which left me without vision or a way to get out because there was a spider blocking the doorway as well as a Bracken lurking around in the hallway in front of me. I stood still for like a minute, and he still hadn’t teleported me. Guess which little fucker walked his dumbass towards me? THE JESTER. I frantically ran into a room, got blocked in, and then the bitch finally teleported me back. We did not complete the quota.

Easily the craziest moment in the game for me
The Jester is legitimately brilliantly designed because although players might initially be just confused at this weird box thing following them around the SECOND, it starts playing this. Everyone knows you have to get away now.
I was with the boys when we decided to download the game and play. One of them said that a box with legs started following him and told us his name is bloxy from now on and it's his friends and then bloxy start winding and this music is playing and the guy that said bloxy was his friends literally say "I don't know what the hell bloxy doing, but I'm fucking out of here"

The more I think about it. This song works really well. The beginning is calm and new players may think it’s some sort of “reward” creature. Then the song becomes unfamiliar and builds tension which makes people want to see what’s inside. And if you know the jester, this song is intense by association like the music box song in Fnaf 2.
@@Katze07 I can see people hearing everything before that time as either a reward or maybe an irritating noise or alarm to attract other, more dangerous threats. But it turns out, IT was the most dangerous threat on the moons.

The jesters music box is just way too good and I cannot believe how Zeekers made you feel like you don't belong anywhere in the facility while making it a banger and scary as hell and You can feel something has gone terribly wrong the jester starts to wind up even when you don't know
This sounds like what would be playing in someone’s head as they rapidly succumbed to insanity. The “pop goes the weasel” is when the crazy laughing starts
the first time i saw the jester i was like "hey there buddy you seem cute" and then it followed me so my mind though it was a friendly lil man, and then it winded, faster and faster and faster i panicked, i was locked inside a locked door because i inverse teleported in and so i just stood there wishing someone teleported me
I think a simple step to making the jester slightly more fair would be making this song audible from anywhere inside the facility (kinda like the loud horn). Numbers cannot count how many times I’ve been blitzed within seconds because my friend on the other side of the mansion set the fucker off without me knowing
That would also be more anxiety inducing so it’s a win-win Imagine frantically searching for the exit while hearing the song echo through the halls as it gets faster and faster.
i got the jester once in titan, i was far from the exit and forgot the path to it. the jester approached me in his passive state, and got far from it. then i met face to face with a coil-head, and for more agony, i heard the jester winding up not far away. when I saw the exit at the end of the hallway and heard the jester speeding up just behind me, my soul left my body until i got out from the complex
Not really. For toreadors march you pray to God freddys feeling generous, But for the jesters song U BETTER RUN LIKE SONIC. before u get killed by a big human without a body and skin.
This one piece of soundtrack in an indie game has more work put into it and is better than what most big game companies have done in the past few years.
the first time i heard this with my squad, i was like "uh oh i think its attracting all the monsters to us", instead of getting out, we instead ran away from it, and lets just say it didnt end well and none of us made it out alive
I still remember playing for the first time with friends who are experienced **Jester starts winding** "OH..OH WE NEED TO LEAVE" "WE NEED TO LEAVE" "GO GO GO, GET OUT" "What? The fuck is that?

*gets eaten by the giant skull from the jester while your teammates laugh their asses off*
I can certainly say this music box has been the single scariest thing in the game for me, scarier than most horror games i've played. Horror games usually get me with atmosphere, or a jumpscare, but this... The moment i start hearing this i experience genuine terror in the most "I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE" way.
Worse, this terror follows me now even outside the game, as i make nightmares out of it.
Sound design at it's peak.
Indeed the sound design is just perfect
The mix of “pop goes the weasel” and alarm clock slowly speeding up is crazy good. Too effective 😊
WE GOING THROUGH THE FIRE EXIT WITH THIS ONE🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
WE LIVING IN A SOCIETY WITHOUT THE "ARE" ON THIS ONE!⁉️👏💯🤙❤️💢🗣❗️🗣🗣💢💯🔥🔥⁉️💢🔥💯

@@Nsodnoajdjksl Are you really that stuck on this joke? Just read a comment you made 2 weeks ago, that suggests you are always reading the comments and are commenting the same thing on posts making this joke. Please go outside.
@@OrionEJ it's covid outside, I rather not to be infected.
The reason why I comment the same thing is because I intend to mock these people who grab the same joke format.
@@Nsodnoajdjksl I intended to mock people who use the same joke, by using the same format to mock each one. Come on man, you can do better.
The jesters music box is just way too good and I cannot believe how Zeekers made you feel like you don't belong anywhere in the facility while making it a banger and scary as hell and You can feel something has gone terribly wrong the jester starts to wind up even when you don't know
We aren't makin it outta the building with this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the moment you hear this
*BOOK IT TO THE NEAREST EXIT.*
WE MAKIN' IT BACK TO THE SHIP WITH THIS ONE🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ahh…what a calming music, I bet this will make kids laugh once they see the original video, it’s so child friendly!

WE MAKING IT OUT OF THE MANSION SCREAMING WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🔥🔥
You think you’ll make it out?
Assuming you make it out
This sounds like what would be playing in someone’s head as they rapidly succumbed to insanity. The “pop goes the weasel” is when the crazy laughing starts
Truly a lethal company moment when you hear this song playing over the walkie while your crew mates are screaming in terror.
Me: i-i like you.
My crush: i like you too!
The Jester behind me:
Jester: I don't like both of you
i need this as my ring tone or alarm to encourage me
sounds more panicking than seeing your whole team die to a nutcracker while wielding no weapon
After the box pops and you hear the final tunes, I always pair it up in my head with the lyrics "Well, you are fucked now."
the first time i saw the jester i was like "hey there buddy you seem cute" and then it followed me so my mind though it was a friendly lil man, and then it winded, faster and faster and faster i panicked, i was locked inside a locked door because i inverse teleported in and so i just stood there wishing someone teleported me
Did you die?
I think a simple step to making the jester slightly more fair would be making this song audible from anywhere inside the facility (kinda like the loud horn). Numbers cannot count how many times I’ve been blitzed within seconds because my friend on the other side of the mansion set the fucker off without me knowing
That would also be more anxiety inducing so it’s a win-win
Imagine frantically searching for the exit while hearing the song echo through the halls as it gets faster and faster.
im sorry but your PHRASING LMAOO
This is probably the best horror take of a children’s song (Pop Goes The Weasel) I’ve ever heard…
Same
“Whats that so-
“GUYS GRAPPLR YOUR SHIT WERE FUCKING LEAVING THE BUILDING”
i got the jester once in titan, i was far from the exit and forgot the path to it. the jester approached me in his passive state, and got far from it. then i met face to face with a coil-head, and for more agony, i heard the jester winding up not far away. when I saw the exit at the end of the hallway and heard the jester speeding up just behind me, my soul left my body until i got out from the complex
I think this game might have genuinely given ptsd to people
Gives “It’s Pizza Time!” Vibes for me
A song from a toy box that kids enjoy to hear
And a Song in Lethal Company that adults fear
I’m a kid (12) and this scares the shit out of me
This is this games equivalent to toreador’s march playing in Fnaf 1
Not really. For toreadors march you pray to God freddys feeling generous, But for the jesters song U BETTER RUN LIKE SONIC. before u get killed by a big human without a body and skin.
I love this song
Well You Must Have Died Many Times Then
no this song is just so good!!!@@empireofitalypsstimfromano5025
Same
I’m in love with this song
You know when you hear this you have twenty seconds to pack your sh*t and leave
This one piece of soundtrack in an indie game has more work put into it and is better than what most big game companies have done in the past few years.
Peak sound design, you know it's dangerous.
Ik I love sound design
This dev is pretty great with sound design. You should check out his earlier game It Steals!
Pop goes the giant bloody murder skull
the first time i heard this with my squad, i was like "uh oh i think its attracting all the monsters to us", instead of getting out, we instead ran away from it, and lets just say it didnt end well and none of us made it out alive
Hearing this makes your blood run COLD. You know you have only 40 seconds to leave the facility before it goes bananas.
OMG THE STEPS SOUNDS HE DOES AHHA
WHEN THE COMPANY IS LETHAL, BUT THE BEAT IS ILLEGAL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💀💯❗️❗️‼️‼️‼️‼️
40 seconds of nightmares
Song kinda go hard. Now I just need someone with music skills to remix this.
I know how now... but sorry _I'm on break_
I still remember playing for the first time with friends who are experienced
**Jester starts winding**
"OH..OH WE NEED TO LEAVE"
"WE NEED TO LEAVE"
"GO GO GO, GET OUT"
"What? The fuck is that?
0:10 - Start
0:21 - Feel the music
0:30 - The coolest part is the music ends
0:40 - F
Now i know exactly how much time i have to scream and panic while the jester blocks the only nearby exit
It varies every time, so you might be screaming for a little less
The LEAVE IMMEDIATELY THERE IS A JACK-IN-THE-BOX song
WE AINT GONNA GET QUOTA WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like how the ending is just "Pop goes the weasel"
