Lol, I'm a bit offended because I always fly southwest. I love the two bags for free and open seating. Make sure you select boarding group number A be there early and you pretty much get first pick of your seat. I'm a window seat person so I'll put my purse in the middle seat to discourage others from sitting right next to me. Another perk is you're not ever automatically stuck next to some loud kids or some gross old man. I'd love to fly first class but I can't afford it. Why does he have to be so raggedy?? We do not look like that. We also have classes A and B.
They're not saying passengers look like that. It's to convey the publics general perception of the companies themselves
As a Greyhound driver, I don’t know if I should be happy we were spared or sad because we were forgotten 😂
Took a greyhound bus back from Chicago once. ONCE.

He didn't want to get banned.

Greyhound pops up behind Amtrak and in a depressed tone says, "At least they remembered you exist. No one even thinks of me as transportation." He then slowly walks off, head hung, and a tear in his eye.
Fuck Greyhound, terrible service
I'm guessing he sounds like Eeyore
To be fair, long distance buses are the worst way to travel. Its one thing to be on a flight for 4 hours with no wifi, whatever, but the same trip by bus took 3 fuckin days! With broken wifi! First world problems i know but it was also 3 days spent in a seat that doesnt recline much at all...
Greyhound just exists to shuffle homeless drug addicts to various cities

Southwest has always been my favorite airline since I was a kid. the cabin crew and pilots really do have that southern hospitality thing going on; when I was a little my family flew to Orlando on Southwest for a trip to Disney World, and when the plane landed the pilot actually sang “When You Wish Upon a Star” in full over the intercom. It was magical.
I flew Spirit once. Once.

Right!!! Waiting for a C-17 pilot 👨✈️ to say “none of you got nothing on me “
Look, I’ve dealt with the pros and cons of Amtrak since I moved across the country in 2019. At least on Amtrak:
* Roomettes and Sleepers are a thing.
* Even in coach, the staff allows riders to spread out once more seats become available during the trip.
* Hot meals, and if you purchase a roomette or sleeper space, you’re first priority and most of the food is FREE.
On the coach-only Hiawatha line, you can get a set of seats to yourself.
Don’t knock Amtrak until you experience both the good and the bad, people.
And don't forget, the price is at least three times that of a flight and your vacation is half over by the time you get where you are going and it's time to head back 😂
Amtrak prices are insanely high and trains tend to be late (aside from on the NEC). While I applaud their customer service, there is still several things they need to improve.
The best part is that instead of just sucking it up and being a tad uncomfortable for a few hours, you can be slightly more comfortable for like 20 times as long! 😂😂

Delta used to REALLY serve. After my first wedding in 92, we were at the gate waiting forever. All of a sudden, they announced our flight...at the other end of the airport. This was Atlanta, so about 2 states away. Delta got a car to drive us from the gate we were at to the flight...a friggin' LIMO for heaven's sake. We made it, with like only minutes to spare...and we weren't first class or anything. They were also good about switching your flight in case of medical emergency. I got wildly ill and HAD to get to my specialist in Atlanta during a trip to Milwaukee. It was no problem to leave a day early. My grandmother had a stroke about 2 weeks before my original flight arranged for me to take leave. I had to buy another departure but they refunded my previous ticket. These were all in the 90s, and they really were worth the $ then.

every single freight railroad dispatcher laughs at amtrak
They DO! Especially around Indiana and Illinois, where most of the freight railroads join together.
Last April I was on a return trip from Cincinnati to Chicago and the staff said on the PA system, “the next stop is Chicago’s Union Station, which will be in 45 minutes. I know you people want to get there, but we have to wait until the freight trains clear before we can move. You guys have to remember, WE DON’T OWN THESE TRACKS! Six different freight lines own these tracks, and Amtrak pays rent to every one of them. And if we miss our allotted time, we have to WAIT.”

I didn't even have to call anyone or even go to customer service, they did it automatically. 10/10 Highly recommend taking an Amtrak adventure

Amtrak not only left my older son asleep on a parked train, they didn’t reimburse for their carelessness and I still had to drive him to where he needed to go. American, “I lost my luggage so I can’t come tonight”
The "Oh horse feathers!" Got me
The old timey phrase for an old timey company
“Quit overcompensating for your tiny cockpit” is crazy lol💀😂
I’m a Amtrak gal. Get a sleeper car, free showers, free meals and a sit back and enjoy the scenery!😀
The California Zephyr from the Denver to San Francisco stage is one of the best rides I’ve ever been on. We were lucky to have gotten a roomette and I’ve never enjoyed a journey more.
Amtrak girl here too, but I wouldn't say the showers and meals are "free", lol. You still pay for it, but at least it's included, unlike so many normal traveling issues that airlines charge extra for, like suitcases or choosing an aisle or window seat, or preferential boarding order.
I’m all for train travel but when it’s same price as buying an airline ticket it just ain’t worth the money. Maybe it’s worth it for the scenery but not everyone really cares about that. Not to mention the time it takes and the many stops along the way.

Amtrak is much more fucking expensive, and much fucking slower.
Shit is scam for people who want to travel in a way that's "interesting"
If you like Amtrak, congratulations, you have autism.
@@skyraiderjetit’s worth it depending on the route like on the northeast corridor between DC and NY Amtrak is more convenient and takes about the same amount of time as flying when you factor in having to get to the airport early but on longer routes where Amtrak doesn’t own the track it’s a completely different story
I love traveling by train and I highly recommend it to anyone who has the time to take a little longer. The seats are bigger the food is better it's just more awesome all around. 😌
I loved most aspects of it. Just wish that they would turn off all the lights at night
I've been thinking about it but every trip I've looked up has cost a lot more than the flight, which is the opposite of what I expected
@@lastdonuts It can be more expensive than the budget airlines, but the comfort and low stress (if you do your homework ahead of time) is well worth it, in my opinion.
There aren’t any passenger rail lines going to my city
Really don't understand why there aren't more passenger trains between cities in the western us states. I would love to be able to take a train for day trips instead of driving.
Wow, you nailed Southwest and Spirit!
As a pilot of an air-liner....we all still laugh at the rail system....and his spectacles 👓.... plays rhapsody in blue to calm down😂
