(My opinion) The 256gb is £/$400 and the quest 3 512gb is £/$470 i think you are better off just saving an extra 70 for better graphics and pancake lenses (night and day to the Fresnel)
wow seriously the prices are that low? In italy the quest 3 is 200 euros more than the 3s with 256 gb (wich is 420 euros)
In Netherlands the 3S is €320 and the 3 is €550.
@@cuffia5189 i don't know the exchange rates between pounds and euros but the quest 3s 256gb is 380* not 400 but still a £90 difference isn't that much

I still own a occulus Quest but I am thinking of Switching over to Meta because I can NOT AFFORD a NEW Meta Quest rite now. HOPE they go down in price at some point and time. But until then I am most likely going to be switching over to Meta to contue to play with my occulus quest as it has been awhile. Lol.
I even heard and read the clarity and optics are the SAME for quest 2 and quest 3 as they are for Meta Quest. I have 3 so that is good to know. Ty for the post. 🤩👍🖕

A cautionary tale for current and prospective Meta Quest VR headset owners (for sim'ing or gaming):
I'm on day 8 of Meta holding my Quest headsets hostage. I've been using Oculus/Quest devices from the day they started making them (10 years ago?), and I have not been required to give my date of birth to Meta in all this time. But they recently demanded my DOB under threat of disabling my Quests, and they made good on that threat 8 days ago. Meta can metaphorically brick your headsets, any time they want, and for any reason they want, and you will have no defense against it.
Conclusion: Think carefully before you BUY anything from Meta; The thing you BUY will not be yours.
missing jack for headphones is dealbreaker for me. Same goes in choolsing a smartphone.

I have the Quest 3 but get what you can afford. There's a reason the Quest 2 outsold the Quest 3 despite having the better optics and the better processor and mixed reality and games. The price. We will reap the rewards from the sales of the Quest 3s, so you should be happy the 3s exist. Not angry. 🙄
