He’s definitely getting some kind of ability like that. But there will be probably be some serious limits put on it. Most of these magic users a physically weak. And if asta just has to get close enough to shut down all their magic. He can man handle practically every body except yami. The ability would be dope though

What I can tell us it looks like the Demons do have different and crazy forms it just that Libe is the most normal looking due being weak and plot reasons I'm guessing.
Yeap it is for the plot. Remember their first encounter with the word magic devil? There's more story of liebe true status amongs the devil.
