    I enjoyed this market in May of 2024. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Can't wait to return in 2025.

      How much is a round trip ticket from America?

    • @TheCAG1976
      @TheCAG1976 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@todds.6028 The costs vary from specific days and months. Best thing to do is go to google flights. By default it is on round trip, then you pick your destination airport then you’ll go to where you can pick the days to travel. The neat thing about Google flights is that it gives the cost for each day so you can choose the best day to fly.
      My last trip costed me $1500 for a round trip from Indianapolis to Manila and back. But since my destination was Davao which was on the island of Mindanao, I had to pay separate to fly there and back to Manila. That was an extra $350. FYI… if traveling domestic within type Philippines, I recommend Cebu Pacific. It’s cheaper than Philippine Airlines.

      @@TheCAG1976 That's what I was afraid of...so frickin expensive. Thanks man.

    It’s pretty annoying when people have no self awareness and get together in groups and block the walkway. Even more annoying when they do it so they can take pictures and expect the whole world to stop for them.

    i was at this market with my girlfriend yesterday. this market is not that great compared to the other places and the food is really not good there. its wasnt over crowded also and i understand why. it could be better if the food was better and not take advantage of foreigners by charging more. i went to the other market you also explored and that was amazing

    that is my greatest sorrow. All the food in the Philippines is boring and has absolutely NOTHING to do with healthy eating.

    • @francoisneko
      @francoisneko 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agree, after 3 months here I am sick just watching the food here. Oily, full of sugar, full of bad products (conservative, colorant…), very hard to get a bit of vegetables, not diary product, only meat and rice. My body is feeling sick and I have no option than to cook myself. That is sad because I know this food and drinks are toxic to anyone.

    • @Retlan54
      @Retlan54 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@francoisneko , I thank you for your honesty. That is the main reason why I am not emigrating to the Philippines. The unbelievable dirt, the lack of hygiene, the desolate infrastructure and the catastrophic health system are unfortunately also a factor. That makes me sad because the lovely people have touched my heart deeply, especially since, unlike in Thailand, for example, you can communicate well with everyone. I got sicker there than anywhere else in the world. It started on the approach to Abu Dhabi. I ran through the plane and shouted to the stewardesses "Open the toilet!". The horror flight back. The tropical institute never found out what I had gotten myself into. I could hardly get off the toilet for almost 6 weeks! What a pity.
