In this video, you have confirmed what foreign men have been told: A relationship with a Filipina is based on money, and the willingness to be an ATM for the Filipina and their family. What you fail to consider in your first statement "She has many Filipino men to choose from", is that a foreigner has thousands of Filipinas to choose from. If he can't find the right one in the Philippines, he has the freedom to explore Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and the choices go on and on. If a Filipina has so many choices in Filipino men, why are there so many poor, single Filipinas?

Women always look to a man for support, so in that sense it is always about the money. I have found that it is much more about the money with Western women and that they also have more unreasonable expectations. Just as women are the gatekeeper with their bodies (not so much in the West anymore), men are the gatekeepers of their resources. Just because a woman wants it, doesn't mean you have to give it. Be judicious and discerning.

@jayo.6232 He's not being disrespectful. You may think so because you think these points are normal. Well sorry, they're not. The issue is, and many people don't even realize this which is why they wind up divorced losing the house they built for their "traditional Filipina"... that high-value women do NOT hunt for or expect their husband to be a walking ATM their family comes to every week, or even when they need "saving." But low-value women sure do - women who have never had their basic "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" securely met (food, water, shelter, clothes, safety). So they choose men mainly (or worse, exclusively) based upon whether he can meet the basic needs. In other words, because they've never had their basic needs consistently met (they still go hungry some days, or have to buy or walk to find clean water, or don't have a safe sturdy home)... they don't choose a husband based on compatibility, attraction, OR LOVE because they've never been able to choose based upon that - it was always who will fill my belly. So men who allow women to choose them based on these points are placing themselves at high risk of tying themselves to a women who will yes, smile sweetly, sweep the floor, and cook a meal making her seem "traditional"... but she will think nothing of cheating on him with the smooth-talking trike driver on her way back from the fruit market - think nothing of using HIM to fill her romance bucket now her other basic needs are being met by the husband - because everything above food, shelter, safety - is such a foreign concept to her, and she realizes she doesn't really respect or even like her husband that much but will keep him around to continue meeting those basic needs while she gets everything higher from someone else.

What’s between a woman’s legs is far easier to replace than a wallet large enough to change their life especially the ones wanting the securement of their family as well AND another man’s child sometimes as well. Fantasy world thinking they can position themselves the way this woman is speaking in this video.

Once upon a time (decades ago) I looked upon Filipinas as some of the most desirable women in the world. This video left me cold. It's all about how to win a Filipina -- nothing about what might make the efforts and investment worthwhile. I have known a couple of truly good Filipinas, but the overall reputation of Filipinas is sliding. I think it's worse in the cities, but the Internet has become a negative influence everywhere. There are good women and there are grifters of all nationalities. Men tend to look for love in women to whom we're attracted, so while there are plenty of good, attractive women, we need to be careful not to fall for women who use that for their own ends without caring about us.

Reasons NOT to select a Filipina: 1. She wants you to solve her problems FAST - (money).
    2. She wants you because you can solve her family's problems (walking ATM - money).
    3. She needs you provide security (mostly financial security - money).
    4. She envisions a future with you because it will take a while to spend all your money on points 1, 2, and 3.
Guys, don't be simps. If these are what attracts her to you, then RUN because she has never had her basic needs met, therefore doesn't understand real love, faithfulness, morals. You will "lift her up" thinking she'll be grateful and stay with you out of gratitude - but you were just a means to an end - and when those ends are met, she will THEN start thinking about other things that don't involve her and her family's stomachs, and will either monkey branch to another foreigner with more money than you, or you'll catch her cheating with the trike driver because YOU taught her that money is the most important thing.

@jayo.6232 I always set limits but most poorer girls (80% of girls) are brought-up to prioritize family. So when new demands e.g. for hospital treatment (common) you have to decide if help or stick to agreed limits. The girl will always ask because the family expects her too. So most relationships follow the pattern. Many girls can't say no even to work-shy siblings. Because having a foreigner bf gives the family an expectation of a better life. Being a foreigner to them = rich = unlimited money, even though many foreigners here work because they are not rich/divorced need a cheaper country to live in

So marrying that Filipina isn't enough help for the family? When she is a wife, then the family no longer has to feed her, house her, cloth her, pay her medical insurance, pay her power bill, pay her water bill, pay her cell phone bill, or pay for school / college tuition, that responsibility is on her husband from now on. So it seems like her family is either mismanaging money, or they are lazy? All those bills that I listed can add up to 56,000 Pesos a month in some areas of the Philippines. For arguments sake, lets say it costs 28,000 Pesos per month to cover the cost of her. You mean to tell me saving that 28,000 Pesos per month is not enough for a better lifestyle for the rest of her family? Even if it's 10,000 Pesos per month, that would still make her family's lifestyle better. So from the sound of your video its all about trying to take advantage of a Foreigner's wealth and resources to me, which will intern prevent Foreigners from coming to the Philippines for activities other than vacation. Food for thought, but you might want to redo this video.

  • @AndersGetherSoerensen

Please define "family"! Is it all 3-500 members?
There are quite a few Filipino women who must understand that Exat does not have a farm with "money trees". If a foreigner starts a family and possibly has some children, that is his priority. He can choose and support her parents, but that's about it.
He can support his wife with education so that she can cope when he dies.
A foreigner can find a Filipina woman who understands that fact. But if she is not kind and loving towards him, and not "tampo" (which is a behavior that is totally unacceptable and insulting in many foreigners' culture) then he will rather live alone.
I think your video shows one side and confirms the worst prejudices about relationships in the Philippines, that it's all about money. It may well be what you mean, or put something else into what you say. But it can certainly be perceived as only being about money. And if that's all, a man might as well go to a prostitute.

Supporting the family is how the family will stay financially connected to you for the entirety of the relationship. I don’t think we’re under any illusions. We know it’s only our money that makes as attractive. And Filipinas know it’s their youth and beauty that we want. So fundamentally it’s a transactional relationship. Doesn’t mean there won’t be any love shared during the relationship, but such a relationship is much riskier for a man when it comes to money and being cheated on. Especially if marriage is involved and that’s what a Filipina will want. She’ll probably have to work hard to convince a lot of men to do that given all the horror stories out there.

Wow! This is a bad msg, but perhaps an honest one. The filipina/expat relationship is purely transactional (all about the money). We expats want a real relationship that is more of a filipina's desire not just her duty to family. If a filipina wants a local guy then she should do that.
Maybe a relationship with a bar girl would be better, at least it's more honest of being a transaction and not a real relationship.

All this clip is a bs and disrespectful for foreigners and for good Filipinas who really want a family with a foreigner. First of all a Filipina must prove respect, admiration, appreciation and trust to her foreigner and only then might expect help for her family which most of the foreigners are ready to provide. The only things you can provide is your female body and your youth, nothing else if you are not a good character and a good hard working woman. This is why for us is much better to stay single in PH, enjoy our lives and just pay for fun.

Don't talk about religion, politics, or money it seems. The comment section again goes right over the top - this time over money. I can see how tampo can be a good thing. Perhaps we men should practice it more. 😂 If you are a younger guy the following doesn't apply to you, however, she will STILL expect you to take care of her and SHE will be responsible - by Philippine Law to take care of her parents, AND siblings at a rate of about 10% depending on her level of ability to pay. They can literally legally SUE her for the support. IF you are older --- Retirement age expats are going for women young enough to be their granddaughters and somehow expecting those granddaughters to love them in a romantic, passionate, steaming, sexual way. WTF? Maybe one out of a thousand will actually fall in love. The other 999 are going to be purely transactional, live-in companionship in exchange for resources. Men usually do age better than women, but come on... would you want to make out with a 60-70-80 year old woman? Would you fall in romantic, passionate, sexual love with her? Stop deluding yourselves. She may like you a lot. She may love you like a member of her family but unless you're the Filipina Babe lottery winner she's not going to "fall in love" with you. I think it's damn near physically impossible for that to really happen. Buy a condo -- you can own that in your name. Don't build houses or buy land for other people unless YOU want to do it and can afford to lose it. You can give, or not, whatever you want.

All women are about survival. No woman wants to be homeless, starving or unable to afford medicine or medical care. A 'good' man has the capacity to ensure that a woman will have a home, good food, and remain as healthy as possible for the rest of her life. Any man who denies this responsibility is not a good man. You don't have to tell a good man what you need, he already knows.
