- This city is huge. This is just the first of the series of walking videos featuring Davao City.
Join me as I walk, ride and eat at the streets and places in the Philippines, all in 4K.
My ultimate goal is to do a Walking Tour of each and every city /municipality of the whole Philippines.
I will try to feature all of the significant spots of the places I visit as much as time and resources would permit. In most cases, you will only see a portion of the city/municipality as shown on the map animator at the beginning of the video. (usually the city proper/downtown/local market)
DISCLAIMER: Those streets are not a representation of the total beauty and progress of the city/municipality.
When I say "NOW", it means what I see when I visited that place at that moment.
Pero sa buong Pinas Davao lang ang Merong 911 emergency rescue respond Team,At madaling matawagan at naka organized lahat ang mga business section,hindi ako taga Davao pero Doon ako nag tatrabaho noong college ako dahil working students ako ang Ganda ng Davao madisplina yong mga tao hindi makalat.
I watched a lot of videos about the Philippines, but this city seems to be very different. Less noise, more calm, less traffic, more space. I will make sure to go there when i have my exploratory holidays in the Philippines!

I was assigned here for 7 yrs from 2010 till retirement in 2016. Davao City is peculiar than other cities, towns and places where I was deployed for 33 yrs and 4 months of active PNP/AFP service across the land.
Ang linis diba. Ive tried n tumira s Davao City at pabalik balik din ako dyan. Mkikita mga toga ang difference ng Davao City. Magaling ang leadership ng mga Duterte. Disiplinado ang mga tao
Wow! hangggang ngayon sagana pa rin kami sa ibat-ibang saring lamang dagat ... Tuna, bangus, snapper, pusit, shrimp etc. protect our marine life, keep our Coastal area clean ... Madayaw Davao!
what a huge, fresh offering on the market. the friendly people inspire me. The huge advantage in the Philippines is that I can talk to almost anyone in English. I failed tremendously with this in Thailand. After a week I still couldn't count from 1 to 10 and I can't understand the writing at all.

I was assigned here for two years, i experienced wonderful moments, I was devastated when I went back to my province and I still long to go back to DAVAO and find a livelihood.
Davao City is the cleanest and peaceful city in the Philippines these started during ex-president Duterte when during that he was a mayor. Former Pre. Duterte was and will be the most beloved and popular leader of our country. He is always in our hearts.

Appreciate vlogging Dvo city am from Dvo and even though its known still needs an exposure the walks of life in this place Dvo city is one of the largest city as far as area is concerned. Abundance of food from fruits fresh veg fish affordable rent disciplined people last time went vacation I took taxi trying to give tip the driver refused to accept. Pls come and visit my city enjoy and have fun!

wonderful video. captured the mood well. I made a mistake in 2015 and only traveled to the north of Mindanao. cdo, gingoog city, butuan... no comparison. I' am actually Filipino and I am from Manila, I just visited and toured Davao for a few days only. Will definitely come for a visit again in the future

What camera you using ? its 4K but not so clear in Big TV … should be at least 1080p60 quality .. watching from Singapore 😊
DJI pocket 3. I am not sure if it would make a difference, but my previous videos I set ISO to Auto and didn't use ND filters and they are not clear somehow. I can see the difference when I started setting the ISO to 100 and using an ND Filter. I am still testing the settings and trying different shades of ND filters though.

Davao city very peaceful and the traffic is quite calm good because of their policy on speed limit and placing bike lanes but the problem Is their very old jeepneys spewing toxic smoke from diesel engines. These jeepneys must be replaced by modern jeepneys asap.
Just be a little bit patient. Jeepneys will be replaced by electric and euro 5 buses soon.

Davao doesn't need a new city hall. For what? Gasto lang yan tapos mga government employees lang mag eenjoy. Maayos pa naman ang city hall ngayon. C digong mismo yong mayor pa cya ayaw niya gumasto ng malaki para pagandahin ang city hall.
No need to have big city hall. It's much better to put most of LGU resources for improvement of public services for social, health, safety & security, infrastructure, urban planning and education improvement. Aanhin mo ang fancy new city hall if yung city has no improvements at all. Moreover, majority of city agencies ng Davao City has their own buildings and separated offices na. Natira nalang ata dyan sa maliit na city hall is mayor's related offices lang talaga. Besides kahit gaano kaliit ang city hall importante is good public service.

kasi po di po pwede gibain yan..cultural heritage po iyan sir...pero may gagawin pong bagong government center in the near future..ngayon tapos na po lahat ng social services buildings , mula sa senior citizens building, new police office building, home for the aged, new lingap para sa mahirap building, davao musium,..on going na po ang lahat ng mga bagong public parks, and railings ng lahat ng mga kanal. . matatapos na rin po ang coastal road at ang tunnel, pati ang promised na City college at City Hospital.. na kasama po sa urban planning ng Davao, pati ang HPBS ay iimplement na po beginning october. at nag uumpisa na rin ang phase 3 ng underground cabling ..so ang natitira nalang po ay ang last sa plano ng DAVAO CITY ..ang government center.. at kasunod na nyan ang beautification ng DAVAO CITY....
