Besides, look me in the eyes and tell me you give a shit about fucking Chojuro. I dare you. *What's with some of your pronunciations?* This video was recorded over the course of a week, at varying levels of exhaustion, while fighting a mouth infection. Shit happens. *Why isn't X a Maximum Technique?* Maximums are a late and weird addition to the system but they are on a linguistic level defined as all abilities that include the Kanji 極ノ番 (Gokunoban) in their name. That is only the case for Wing King, Meteor and Uzumaki. Thus, they are the only known Maximum Techniques thus far. *Whats the difference between Simple Domain, Falling Blossom and Domain Amplification? Don't they all do the same thing?* They are three different solutions to the same problem, developed by different families/groups. _Simple Domain_ - Creates a barrier that protects the User from Domain Expansions and their Cursed Technique. _Falling Blossom_ - Creates an Aura around the User which automatically counters any Cursed Attacks within a Domain. _Domain Amplification_ - Creates an Aura that neutralizes any Cursed Techniques it touches, including the User. *You didn't explain X* Probably because we have almost no info on it. *[X] actually has a more detailed explanation that Gege gave in an interview* My priority here was to create explanations that remain simple and allow newcomers to look up smn they dont understand. I find that a majority of JJK explanations get really messy and overfocus on being accurate beyond what is necessary. That's why I at the end reccomend the wiki. *I'm used to different names for techniques* Then you probably read illegal scans or the old translation. You deserve better.
On the panda explanation I would also add that panda is different because he can create his own cursed energy, usually cursed corpses can only live on the amount their creators gave, when that cursed energy runs out, they die
I think Gojo uses red to create a repulsion of sorts beneath his feet to "float" or he is standing on his limitless effectively the soles of his feet are in constant freefall also idk if the manga contradicts this but I think his teleportation is using blue to "attract" the distance between himself and some other point. These explanations make the most sense to me but idk if they are viable or not 🤷🏻♂️
Would you ever think of doing a mini series were you go threw fan favorite characters and speculate on what their reverse technique would end up being if they actually every reached that level of mastery?
Dude, the fact that Sukuna's Domain gives his opponent a chance to escape, but that chance is basically zero due to the range of the Domain and speed of his attacks is so in character for him.
This made me realize something. Both Sukuna and Megumi have domains with no barriers, but Megumi’s domain is considered incomplete because of it and Sukuna’s domain is considered divine. So is there a difference between the domains that I’m forgetting or is this another example of Megumi selling himself short. Maybe that’s what made Sukuna so interested in him, he saw that he had the potential to make a domain like his.
@@yeahkeen2905 Sukunas is considered divine mainly for two reasons. 1. It's a near guaranteed death. I only say near because theoretically someone like Mahito may be able to survive it. For all intents and purposes whoever is caught in it will die. As of right now, Megumi's is a guaranteed hit but not death. 2. Much more importantly, Sukuna has enough control over his abilities to actively choose how he wants to make his domain. Megumi doesn't have a barrier because he currently struggles with the concept (as he explains in chapter 170 or 171 of the manga), while Sukuna not only perfectly understands the concept, he understands all the nuances of a domain and can fashion it however he likes as long as it obeys the rules of Jujutsu Kaisen.
@@yeahkeen2905 that's what I thought as well. However, before you can run, you have to walk. Megumi has the potential to get a divine technique, but he still has to learn to make a complete domain before ascending it
@@wlt3585 you probably havent read the latest chapter yet. In his latest fight it is said that because his domain expansion is incomplete it doesnt have the "guarenteed hit effect" and is merely an extension of the ten shadow technique (simpler said it is pretty much just a buff to his curse technique and makes it stronger). I agree with everything else you said tho. The difference between sukunas domain and megumins domain is: -that sukunas doesnt have a barrier because he himself made a binding vow -whereas megumins doesnt have a barrier because its simply incomplete.
@@origami4851 Yeah but isn't reverse cursed energy like, extremely difficult to get a grasp of? And it requires a good control of cursed energy. Not saying Inumakis control is bad, but I don't think he'd be able to learn it until later down the line
@@swwetsour7697 yeah you right man's probably couldn't used reversed cursed techniques yet, unless he can make his ability affect himself which I've thought about then he could command his body to heal
@@fourthhokage1686 I was thinking that the nature of his technique would make it immensely harder than usual for him to learn reverse curse manipulation. Similar to how certain techniques are more likely to trigger a black flash due to how they manipulate cursed energy. The fact Inumaki's tatoos act as a conduit for his technique, he isn't naturally intimate with the the cursed energy being controlled. He'd need very long special training
You forgot to mention that Choso doesn’t run out of blood as he can convert cursed energy into blood which is the main reason why he’s so superior to kamo
Another thing i really like about sukuna´s domain is that although you can escape it, i seem to recall that he doesn´t really say that to his opponents... leaving them to asume "it´s a domain, so i can´t escape bc that´s how this things work" essentially taking the benefits of having a huge radius and having ppl not even trying to escape it.
Oh! Another funny thing about Shigemo's technique, during you and zenrotto's podcasts bit on JJK, you guys mentioned that Gege likes to explain things that ultimately doesn't really matter in the end. However, the last second reveal of what Shigemo's technique does somehow works really well retroactively! When I first read through the arc I dismissed the marks under his eyes being his technique. After getting that explanation and knowing that he has 6 "Miracles" stored, looking back at his scuffle with Nanami and noticing that it's gone one by one from the blows Shigemo received. And then Nanami taking out 4 of his Miracles from a single punch. That implies Nanami just killed him 4 time in that single blow! That is so cool to me how an explanation after the fact made that little moment better.
The manga did explain Yuta's case as he is a powerful sorcerer and actually a long distance relative of Gojo, does he have immense curse energy. Yuta himself created his vengeful spirit, Rika.
Yuta's ability to copy other techniques was confirmed some chapters ago, the fact that he is related to Sugawara gives him enormous amounts of energy which enables him to use all kinds of techniques while still using fragments of energy from Rika, to "summon her again", basically Yuta is op as fuck, since his ability to copy techniques has, apparently, no limit
you know how Cursed energy is negative, and negative particles repel other negative particles? I figured it could be cool to have a cursed ability based on that. "Cursed Repulsion" that would allow you to create cursed energy that repels other sources of cursed energy, to your choosing. you could use it from long range to keep opponents, curses and techniques away from you, from close-range to forcefully damage opponnents by repelling them the hell away, or even on the ground in areas with cursed energy (like schools and prisons) to propel yourself. say you repel yourself slightly off the ground below you to levitate, and then repel yourself powerfully away from the ground behind you to propel yourself forward - you'd essentially slide around like a magnet train. the weakness would naturally be how it interacts with reverse cursed energy - instead of repelling, it attracts it. any user of reverse cursed energy could instantly this move against its user. this could really fit a character with social anxiety, since repeling cursed energy means repeling its source - people. in that sense, an attempt to open up to people and overcome said anxiety could be represented with a reverse cursed technique - "Cursed Attraction". creating reverse cursed energy that attracts itself to sources of cursed energy. you could attract yourself to opponent to close distance instantly and use the momentum for a strike, attract your opponent to you so they won't be able to escape, or even attracting yourself to the ground to have a more solid footing. of course, this would have the opposite weakness of the previous technique, where it would repel sources of reverse cursed energy. but being able to use both techniques makes this weakness practically nonexistent. I spent way too much time developing this ability, so I'll just save you all of that and skip to the coolest part. if you hold your arms forward, put repelling cursed energy in one hand, and attracting reverse cursed energy in the other, you could effectively turn your body into a living rail gun. the flow of cursed energy in your arms would mimic the flow of electricity in the rails of a railgun, so it would work the same way - any object between the arms that touches both of them will be launched forward with the force of a fucking sun. downside is, like a real railgun, the same force that launches the projectile forwards also pushes your arms apart, making it impossible to aim. to overcome this, you'd need reliable, powerful people to hold your arms in place. in other words, our socially anxious user would need friends.
That's... literally Gojo's ability. Like the whole repelling and attracting is exactly the same concept as Gojo's Red and Blue ability's with the whole cursed energy and reversed-cursed energy thing. You probably did that on purpose for irony reasons but just couldn't help it. I like the social anxiety narrative and railgun bit tho lol.
@@heartybeefsoup1277 I realized the similarities later on, but I wouldn't say they're really the same. Gojo's ability comes from weird shit like bringing infinities into reality and messing with the fabric of the universe, this is just making cursed energy act like charged particles do. it's closer to magnetism more than anything. the basic idea of repulsion and attraction is there, but that's really the only similarity IMO. it's like comparing The Hand from Jojo's to Ban's ability to pull things towards him from 7 Deadly Sins.
@@awesomesofar5963 I haven't seen jojo or 7 deadly sins but keeping in mind that those are two different series its not exactly the same. I was just saying that the resulting technique is essentially the exact same effect. So its still the same end result as Blue and Red pulling and pushing but with the reversed-curse technique switched (as Blue pulls but is fueled with negative cursed energy and Red pushes with reversed-cursed energy). I came up with a technique idea myself a little while ago as well and its basically the same kinda thing as Geto's so I'm really not one to talk lol I like the narrative aspect of your idea too.
What the hell man, this is reaching the golden wind video levels of length. Massive massive propos to you! P.S: I'll never let you live down "Eyplained"
Geto’s technique might just be the singles best in the whole series (I know Gojo is more power, but he uses two different techniques). The fact that Geto can control thousands of cursed spirits, use their abilities and domains, and absorb their abilities for himself if he uses his uzumaki is insanely powerful!
@@slobertooth1358 not every cursed spirit, he can choose the amount of cursed spirits to recycle. When he uses the uzumaki he just doesn't get the cursed spirits techniques, but using the cursed energy of the cursed spirits he can shot a powerful blow at his enemies.
@@slobertooth1358 Also he can't take the techniques of cursed spirits lower than grade 1, the cursed spirits have to be atleast semi grade 1 or higher. For example there are some trash cursed spirits which are extremely weak but they can pass through objects( the spirit in ep 3) like Obito's Kamui. And he can't steal this techniques cuz they are low level spirits.
And I said he can choose the amount of cursed spirits to use for uzumaki because, in JJK 0 he used like 4000 spirits against Yuta while his other 1000 spirits were fighting in Kyoto. And in chapter 1 hundred something( don't remember the chapter number) kenjaku( he now possess the body of geto so his CT aswell) used the uzumaki against miwa and others, and he immediately spawned new cursed spirits right after.
I feel like you forgot to add a few things. (Also heavy spoilers) 3:22 You should have also mentioned how Yuji has fully mastered Divergent Fist to the point where he can have the second impact activated anytime he wants like Twin Impact in MHA. 6:33 Wasn't one of the things mentioned by Maki while taking to Megumi on why it should be him that takes the heir of the Zenin Clan is that he has mastered his domain expansion? 25:13 Can't remember where I heard. But what Gojo essentially does is when teleporting he closes the space in between him and his destination, basically teleporting him. While him flying/floating is just putting more space between him and the ground. 32:26 Also the reason Mai why has such low cursed energy is because Twins are considered as 1 entity and the give and take rule on Heavenly Restriction. Maki and Mai are anchors to each other and neither can reach their full potential as long as the other exists.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VID! Especially with Kirara's power, which made no sense to me as I was reading the manga. I honestly think Nanami's power might be my favourite. Its intrinsic precision and ability to weaken curses that are otherwise more powerful than him really suit his exacting and determined personality, even in the face of stronger opponents. Gojo's Infinity really clicked for me when I thought of it in terms of asymptotes, where the curve of a line approaching an asymptote slows down and trends towards infinity while never actually touching the asymptote. I really love the language that was used to describe Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine in the manga. The analogy of other domain expansions being akin to a painting on a canvas, while Sukuna's being like a master painter painting on the air was so poignant. You really get a sense of how much thought Gege has put into these cool powers.
Love how in french dub (dunno about the other languages tho) hollow purple is called "équation imaginaire: violet", just the term "imaginary equation" to me shows how abstract gojo's technique, litterally using two already very abstract concept to make an even more fucky power, I love this character so fucking much lmao
another things about higuruma is that he has ability to conjure a judge hammer in his hand and freely manipulate its properties like size and lenght and one last thing is that if a person going through trial confesses to the accusations higuruma recieves an executioners blade that guaranties one hit kill when it touches the opponent
Remember when Gojo's dream is that all the jujutsu students will reach his level? He includes Itadori in that list. Why? Because Gojo knows that Sukuna's techniques will be embedded to him if he is fused with Sukuna long enough.
Youre basing that on a lot of assumptions. Not saying it isn't possible but it's dumb asf for people to act like they know the fact yet they just know assumptions
Ohhh so by treating both himself and the ground as the two alocated points in space, he can reverse his Limitless so that the Infinity repels him away from where he's standing (like casting a soft version of Red upon himself to control how far from the ground he can move instead of just being violently launched with a regular Red)
Amazing video! Thank you for the effort that you put in. I especially love that you were able to get Higuruma in here. We just got to see his technique and I already love him so I was excited to see that you covered it. ✨✨
this video is literally underrated and deserved way more views, you explained it extremly well and entertaining i never got bored in this very long video. Keep up the good work.
Subbed for this - the amount of dedication to compiling and organising all the info and editing this long ass video with clips and infographics. You have my respect ❤️ Jujutsu Kaisen is the first anime I've ever watched - I'm only just getting into it, so thank you for this! ❤️
Fun fact, the ability to combine shadow summons is something megumi actually came up with on his own, it's not a natural ability within 10 shadows, it's y weve never seen any other combination.
Megumi's domain isnt necessarily incomplete due to the lack of a barrier. It's at the very least incomplete due to the overly excessive strain on him to the point of frying his brain. It may also be incomplete because of a lack of barrier but it isnt necessarily the reason (like how sukuna doesnt have a barrier). I believe this is especially the case because of the cursed spirit's domain already containing everything pretty well. Another thing that would have been cool to mention is that Choso has basically no upper limit of blood manipulation as he has essentially infinite blood because of being a curse means his amount of blood is tied to his cursed energy rather than his body Amazing video tho, solidified by the phrase invisible tummy. It is def the most in-depth singular (if not just in general) video out there.
A big part of the reason megumi was so tired is because of obviously how hurt he was, but megumis domain but having a domain definitely proves it’s incomplete. Since for sukuna who made his domain like that on purpose through a binding vow where it gives people the chance to leave but the radius is huge. But megumis had no exchange like that hence it being incomplete
It was very nice watching the whole thing even though I know most of the techniques well, amazing video, thank you for your hard work! (I draw the line at Rika and Yuta being friends though, it's true love)
amazing video some points i have found: yuta in the fanbook is stated to have a curse technique just named rika. Also the shikigami is literally the curse technique of higuruma. Junpei is also wrong he had aswell a curse technique wich was poison and his shikigami which was used to infect the target with it mahito specifically points that out.
@@trollofjom no he transfigured junpeis brain so that his body was capable of using his in born technqiue and ce, the technique was there just the way to it was blocked mahito fixed that
@@Ozone946 then you havent read it right none of them was given a ct they were all given the ability of to use it it was already there read 136 somewhere there kenjaku directly says it To directly quote him "And the people with a curse technique whos brains were meant to be non sorcerers " He never gave him a technique he remodeled there brain to make them capable of using ce.
You made a few mistakes for Hiromi Higuruma or you just didn’t read the recent chapters. Heavy spoilers btw. At 53:00 you said he can’t see what is in the envelope, he confirmed that he could and knows the actual evidence inside it. I may be misremembering if he said that was after or during the “trial” though. And he doesn’t take someone’s curse energy but instead their cursed technique. Since yuji doesn’t have a cursed technique it defaulted to his cursed energy instead. I hope my comment was useful, have a good day.
He has a few more aspects that were added to his domain from the most recent chapter but since that was just released and you were on a schedule it’s understandable if you didn’t have the time to include it just yet. Maybe you can make a pinned comment on it or something.
both of these things were revealed in a chapter that isnt even out officially yet, so I didnt include it here, as my content sticks to the official release cycle. if I do end up making a part 2 to this, ill make sure to include some corrections like these as well tho!
I think the reason why someone can't move in Gojo's domain is because it's filled with the Neutral Infinity. Meaning between his opponent and any point in space around them within the domain, is an infinite amount of distance, no in which way or how far you try to move, there's always infinite distance you have to travel. This is why I think someone can't move.
Nah it’s because of the sensory overload. Inside the domain you can’t do anything except die slowly. It’s the same concept as what happened to that espada in bleach
My brain is fried now, I think I also need a nap now. Great breakdown of everything JJK. I don't think you want to ever do one of these ever again, but there is another series you could do this for with a pretty sizeable presence on this channel *wink wink, nudge nudge*. Thank you mr. ocean man DeadlySentencing/10
7:19 pretty sure nobara straw doll technique is Inherited CT because in the fanbook it was said that she learned how to use it from her grandmother. 17:45 if I am correct Six eyes arent considered as cursed techniques. Only limitless is regarded as the inherited CT of gojo clan.
I believe the six eyes technically is a technique, it’s the same as toge’s ability, it’s a psychical ability that gives the user access to multiple abilities and understanding of cursed energy
Amazing video as always! Do we count this as the newest part of the power system series, though? Or as the glorious and magnificent special? Also the 1+ hour length is definitely worth it! (Also also the Yakuza OST was a really nice surprise, thanks a lot for it!)
Gojo‘s Limitless: Infinity is on a technical level relatively easy to understand. Basically he creates an infinite amount of space between you and him.
The thing about Limitless with flight/levitation would be that he alters the limitless distance between himself and the air that floats around ambiently, that or its like how Bleach shinigami stand on ambient Reishi and can run and fight on it, so it could be that he stands on ambient Infinity? Idk just trying to make sense of it. (Not to mention Inifnity is basically Space Manipulation with a little boost)
(4:43) A small correction about the ten shadows technique. It is really easy to misunderstand, but the divine dogs are actually two of the ten shadow's shikigami, not one of the ten that is summoned as two entities. This is best identified by the fact that they each have a different symbol on their foreheads, correlating to two of the ten treasures that the technique is based on. The two dogs would have the same symbol if they were technically the same shikigami, like how the many frogs that can be summoned simultaneously all have the same symbol on their bellies.
@@asonofliberty3662 Count the number of confirmed shikigami to know this. Some shikigami, like Rabbit Escape, are multiple but still count as one. 1. Divine Dogs 2. Nue 3. Orochi 4. Toad 5. Rabbit Escape 6. Max Elephant 7. Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga 8. Round Deer (manga) 9. Piercing Ox (manga) 10. Tiger Funeral (manga) The last one is the only one we've yet to see even in the manga, but we know it exists
nice video bro, good work explaining all the abilities. Are you going to update the video at some point when more characters and techniques are explained?
This was a great video. I've read the manga so nothing was really new but having things summarized like this is very nice. I only wish you had included Maki going crazy but maybe that hadn't happened yet when this came out? Either way this deserves way more views than it has. Subscribed.
Sukuna has the cannibalism cursed technique he can steal cursed techniques of those he ate it, but he has to switch between the abilitys! The reason i belive this is cause Akutama confirmed that he is indeed an canibal and Sukuna is based on Meruem who also have that ability btw and the cutting techniques are based on Raizen from Yu yu Hakusho
omgggg thank you so much for this vid!!! i always found it difficult to understand the jujutsu powers and i would end up just accepting the explanations without even trying to understand😞 will be watching in segments over the next couple of days
love rendevous must be one of the strongest cursed techniques if it can be expanded on from not just objects( a some sort of awakening) and by using reversed cursed techniques she could be able to reverse events so if you throw a spear and it prices these are two events but if you use reverse cursed technique since the you first throw the spear and it has already pierced the opponent. since you throw it it means that that event has happened meaning events previous must have happened I would love if such abilities could evolve as the user gets more creative
Being new to the series, the main characters power is basically “Want to see me punch you.” *Punches you* “Wanna see me do it again?” *doesn’t move as basically his after image hits you*
My revision of your video 1. Divergent Fist is not a "non-technique" but is indeed a technique because by definition, a Cursed Technique is an advanced form of cursed energy manipulation in which a sorcerer or curse uses manipulates their cursed energy to carry out a certain function, resulting in a specialized ability. This automatically makes Divergent Fist a Cursed Technique which is just made by Yuji. 2. Jogo is NOT the only character to have a Maximum Technique and a Domain Expansion. Maximum Technique are an innate technique's most supreme art. They are the most powerful attacks a cursed technique can perform outside of Domain Expansion. Gojo's Hollow Purple is the Limitless Maximum Technique and he also have a Domain Expansion as we all know. 3. You forgot to mention about Extension Techniques. Extension Techniques are attacks, spells, or abilities derived from the user's innate technique. Innate techniques cannot be changed or altered, but they can be trained to maximize their applications into extension techniques. Examples for Extension Techniques : Jogo's Ember Insects, Nanami's Collapse, etc. 4. The manga states that Mai's Constuction technique uses *a lot* of Cursed Energy which implies that Mai does have a lot or maybe average amount of Cursed Energy. 5. The Finger Bearer's attacks are indeed Cursed Technique and the reason was the same as on why Yuji's Divergent Fist is a Cursed Technique. 6. Todo's Boogie Woogie can only be used with objects that are imbued with Cursed Energy or people that possesses Cursed Energy. He can't use it with objects/people that doesn't have Cursed Energy. 7. I'm not sure if "Learnable Techniques" is a real terminology that is used in the JJK manga/anime but according to your video, you're referring to just Cursed Techniques and in your video you just mentioned Innate Techniques as just Cursed Techniques which is not true. A reminder that there are 3 known types of Cursed Technique : Innate Technique, (Abilities that are imprinted in Sorcerers or Curse Users since they are born and are manifested around the age of 5 or 6) Inherited Techniques (Abilities that are inherited from clans/families), "Learnable Techniques" or Cursed Techniques (which I already explained), Extension Techniques (which I also already explained) and Maximum Techniques (an Innate Technique at it's most powerful). Not trying to shit on your video or being annoying but just fixing and adding things that you missed and misexplained. Yes I read your comment on why you miss or didn't explain some stuff but I'm just giving information.
Though Yuji's Divergent Fist can be considered a cursed technique as this is already a broad term, it definitely isn't an innate technique, because you have to be born with such a thing. Yuji's technique was just the result of his cursed energy lagging behind his superhuman prowess. Something that was corrected when he understood the flow of cursed energy and upon learning the Black Flash. But later on in the story, he learns how to use it on purpose.
Sorry I jumped ahead and didn't read the whole comment and you already explained the workings cursed techniques. Though it does make sense why jujutsu sorcery is just innate talent.
So Gojo's power set feels like someone read a physics textbook and said "this sounds cool". Imaginary mass basically means that something is inherently very unstable. It's often a property ascribed to tachyons, theoretical particles that propagate faster than light.
All together we've only seen 6 out of the 10 that's still four more to go. And seeing as how Sukuna destroyed two of those ten Shadows. That means he only has eight in total left
What about Maki after Mai’s death? You mentioned that Toji was the only one with absolutely zero cursed energy, but doesn’t that apply to Maki as well?
Long video but I watched the whole thing! The power system in Jujutsu Kaisen is complicated and in the manga at least I think not explained very well. Things like Heavenly Restrictions are often mentioned and talked about but rarely concretely defined. So despite being current with the manga this video explained and explored in better detail the rather abstract system. Perhaps that's why I watched the whole thing!
The girl with the green hair and glasses has a limited heavily restricted body. It is not until the curse energy that she and her sister share Dies and take that curse energy to the graveyard which allows the girl with the green hair and glasses to awaken a full heavenly restricted body
Little corrections needed, Toni's senses couldn't make him see curses, he could however sense their presence. It's kinda like how in Naruto when fighting madaras limbo clones, Naruto couldn't see them but he could sense them and make out where they were and what they were doing.
Little correction needed. He can’t even sense them. It’s the changes in air pressure etc that he actually senses. Because curses physically interact with the world he can sense the small changes around the curses to “see” them
I wish someone would write a story where the MC was isekai'd to a cultivation world and had the Gojo template, combined with the Heavenly Restriction of not being able to cultivate using Qi/spirit energy. That would basically push the MC into becoming the ultimate demonic cultivator, using Six Eyes and Limitless to reverse engineer cultivation techniques to use curse energy instead of Chi, which might also have the side-effect of turning him into something like Mahito, a "Human" curse spirit feeding off of negative energy, which would probably exist in abundance in any cultivation world. I can also see him as being just as much a bane to demonic cultivators as he would be to normal or "righteous" cultivators, since his cursed energy cultivation techniques would suck all the negative energy out of the demonic chi demonic cultivators need and produce to cultivate, turning them into normal(ish) cultivators and depowering a lot of their spells and combat techniques.

FAQ
*Why are there weird effects on some of the parts?*
Copyright claims.
*Where are characters like Chojuro Zen'nin, Hanabata etc?*
They probably either didnt have enough info on them or are self-explanatory.
Besides, look me in the eyes and tell me you give a shit about fucking Chojuro. I dare you.
*What's with some of your pronunciations?*
This video was recorded over the course of a week, at varying levels of exhaustion, while fighting a mouth infection.
Shit happens.
*Why isn't X a Maximum Technique?*
Maximums are a late and weird addition to the system but they are on a linguistic level defined as all abilities that include the Kanji 極ノ番 (Gokunoban) in their name.
That is only the case for Wing King, Meteor and Uzumaki. Thus, they are the only known Maximum Techniques thus far.
*Whats the difference between Simple Domain, Falling Blossom and Domain Amplification? Don't they all do the same thing?*
They are three different solutions to the same problem, developed by different families/groups.
*You didn't explain X*
Probably because we have almost no info on it.
*[X] actually has a more detailed explanation that Gege gave in an interview*
My priority here was to create explanations that remain simple and allow newcomers to look up smn they dont understand.
I find that a majority of JJK explanations get really messy and overfocus on being accurate beyond what is necessary.
That's why I at the end reccomend the wiki.
*I'm used to different names for techniques*
Then you probably read illegal scans or the old translation. You deserve better.
On the panda explanation I would also add that panda is different because he can create his own cursed energy, usually cursed corpses can only live on the amount their creators gave, when that cursed energy runs out, they die
You should do a video on Shaman King.
WTF are you talking about, Tengen doesn't do that at all, i hate misinformation...
I think it's not a flaw but he intentionally devised that cause he's a sick sadist lol I love him
This made me realize something.
The difference between sukunas domain and megumins domain is:
-that sukunas doesnt have a barrier because he himself made a binding vow
-whereas megumins doesnt have a barrier because its simply incomplete.
Nanami had the most sincere reaction to Mahito's domain expansion, he was literally just "fuck I'm gonna die"
And foreshadowing him dying.

So glad you did the "sh*t yourself" example with inumaki, me and a few friends were discussing uses of his technique a while ago and that came up
Inumaki has a lot of potential. If gojo taught him reverse cursed energy he could heal his throat the moment he damages it. He would be op.
@@fourthhokage1686 healing words are high level and really difficult to use just like commanding someone to die
Im pretty sure he also has it that way because it really doesnt matter because they probably wont regardless due to the speed of the technique.
@ProTheGrammer He gives them a chance to escape bc it forms a binding vow, which is what allows him his insane range on his domain.
Well gojo can just tp out of his domain as its open.
@@aubhrochakravorty3331 I remember hearing that he can only teleport under very specific conditions from a video by Anime Balls Deep.
@@aubhrochakravorty3331 gojo has to check off certain things to use tp.
This is the rawest shit ever, how is Nanami so chad

1+ hour long video from Oceaniz
This man deserves a medal
The manga did explain Yuta's case as he is a powerful sorcerer and actually a long distance relative of Gojo, does he have immense curse energy. Yuta himself created his vengeful spirit, Rika.
"Gojo creates a piece of fucky space wherein physics don't work" is the best explanation of Limitless I have ever heard.
It's Infinite Cause It's Called Infinity, Not Limitless, But Ok.
I wish that with Toge they would just give us internal dialogue so at the very least we know what he's thinking even if he can't verbalize it
Bonito flakes
Salmon salmon
Tuna tuna!
Tuna mayo...
He says the N word through food names
This man deserve the highest of fives
🤚🤚🤚🤚🤚
Gojo's red does this
@@Igor-ls1qq Gojo's red fucks over space. this is basically just magnets.
What the hell man, this is reaching the golden wind video levels of length. Massive massive propos to you!
P.S: I'll never let you live down "Eyplained"
oh my god
Never
19:32 This makes the scene where Yuji hugged Gojo out of excitement much more wholesome.
Which scene?
Geto’s technique might just be the singles best in the whole series (I know Gojo is more power, but he uses two different techniques). The fact that Geto can control thousands of cursed spirits, use their abilities and domains, and absorb their abilities for himself if he uses his uzumaki is insanely powerful!
I have to ask when Geto uses Uzumaki does that actually destroy all his cursed spirits? That feels kinda dumb even with the extraction part of it.
@@slobertooth1358 he does.
(Also heavy spoilers)
3:22 You should have also mentioned how Yuji has fully mastered Divergent Fist to the point where he can have the second impact activated anytime he wants like Twin Impact in MHA.
Thanks for going so hard for this one. This is gonna get SO many people interested in JJK in the long run.
You really get a sense of how much thought Gege has put into these cool powers.
ok now I see, Gojo's limitless finally makes sense
I like the intro music and transition for each of the characters...it reminds me of the "HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!" animation in fighting games.
Oceanman, ever thought about using some of the popular characters here and turn them into YT shorts? Just curious, y'know?
That'd actually be cool damn
That's actually a very good idea
what
Love how in french dub (dunno about the other languages tho) hollow purple is called "équation imaginaire: violet", just the term "imaginary equation" to me shows how abstract gojo's technique, litterally using two already very abstract concept to make an even more fucky power, I love this character so fucking much lmao
another things about higuruma is that he has ability to conjure a judge hammer in his hand and freely manipulate its properties like size and lenght and one last thing is that if a person going through trial confesses to the accusations higuruma recieves an executioners blade that guaranties one hit kill when it touches the opponent
Also he is easily talk no jutsu'd
Remember when Gojo's dream is that all the jujutsu students will reach his level? He includes Itadori in that list. Why? Because Gojo knows that Sukuna's techniques will be embedded to him if he is fused with Sukuna long enough.
Youre basing that on a lot of assumptions. Not saying it isn't possible but it's dumb asf for people to act like they know the fact yet they just know assumptions
@@rushpatriot2866well that was stated by Gojo (as a narration) when he first recruited Yuji
I think gojo is using the infinity barrier to repel himself off the ground, thus giving the effect of flying
Ohhh so by treating both himself and the ground as the two alocated points in space, he can reverse his Limitless so that the Infinity repels him away from where he's standing (like casting a soft version of Red upon himself to control how far from the ground he can move instead of just being violently launched with a regular Red)

Fun fact, the ability to combine shadow summons is something megumi actually came up with on his own, it's not a natural ability within 10 shadows, it's y weve never seen any other combination.
Bro is just plain ignorant. Either you are mentally challenged or baiting
Another thing that would have been cool to mention is that Choso has basically no upper limit of blood manipulation as he has essentially infinite blood because of being a curse means his amount of blood is tied to his cursed energy rather than his body
Amazing video tho, solidified by the phrase invisible tummy.
@@Endisfree_ Im saying its not the main reason its incomplete. The main reason is the excess strain it causes megumi.

yuta in the fanbook is stated to have a curse technique just named rika.
Also the shikigami is literally the curse technique of higuruma.
Junpei is also wrong he had aswell a curse technique wich was poison and his shikigami which was used to infect the target with it mahito specifically points that out.
With Junpei wasn't it the case that Mahito gave him that CT by transfigurating him a bit so he didn't had an inherent technique before that?

There is also the Hit kill sword and the hammer
both of these things were revealed in a chapter that isnt even out officially yet, so I didnt include it here, as my content sticks to the official release cycle.
if I do end up making a part 2 to this, ill make sure to include some corrections like these as well tho!
Fair enough, have a good day
I think the reason why someone can't move in Gojo's domain is because it's filled with the Neutral Infinity.

I thought Gojo was op but never thought he was this op. Is there anything this man can't do ?
Btw amazing video.
I dont think he can heal others, just himself. sorry if that was rhetorical but there's at least one thing!
You sound so done explaining gojo's abilities lmaoo
The miracle is my fav cursed technique in the series so far. The new Techniques for this arc already hype.
Actually, the Divine dogs count as one entity, not two.

My revision of your video
Nice explanation
Thanks for the additional info. This is what comments are for.
Man, almost none of this is correct
Music choice doesn't get enough credit. I love the whole video
btw hakari's technique was explained recently, he can control probability
Zenrotto better bring this up when the podcast releases
Thank you so much for explaining it, now i have better understanding about jjk because i was a bit confused throughout the series
That was awesome ❤.. thank you brother
So Gojo's power set feels like someone read a physics textbook and said "this sounds cool".
Imaginary mass basically means that something is inherently very unstable. It's often a property ascribed to tachyons, theoretical particles that propagate faster than light.
Now this is a very big boi 🐸
I love these long informational videos!
Amazing video! I want more!
when you said this was gonna be long, I didn't expect it was gonna be LONG
All together we've only seen 6 out of the 10 that's still four more to go. And seeing as how Sukuna destroyed two of those ten Shadows. That means he only has eight in total left
We have seen seven dog, nue, snake, elephant, rabbits, frogs, mahoraga
@@gallyalgaliarept410 point is in total he still only has eight. Unless he can resummon Mahoraga since he never actually claimed it
@@madambutterfly1997 he has ten, losing a Simon doesn't remove there spot just that one, he can claim another to fill its place
@@michaelecklund9017 I don’t know if that’s the case if he can just summon new animals to replace the ones that were killed.
@@madambutterfly1997 I mean he'll need to tame a new one but he'll have ten slots
50:55 Jinichi is not the leader of the Hei, Naoya is.
Imagine if Inukmaki stubs his toe and accidently screams "fuck" or "shit" as loud as he could while around everyone 😂
That breakdown of Gojo's abilities was so needed
i understood that death scentancing takes away your curced technique, but in yuji's case because he does not have one his cursed energy got taken away
What about Maki after Mai’s death? You mentioned that Toji was the only one with absolutely zero cursed energy, but doesn’t that apply to Maki as well?
Same thing was supposed to happen to her but bcoz of Mai existing it didn't bu after her death she became the next toji
she’s exactly the same
@@Andrews13channel yea exactly
Main characters ability
He punch so bad, it's good.
I love how much Ultimate Mechamaru looks like a slightly less creepy Mass Production EVA.
The girl with the green hair and glasses has a limited heavily restricted body. It is not until the curse energy that she and her sister share Dies and take that curse energy to the graveyard which allows the girl with the green hair and glasses to awaken a full heavenly restricted body
Those Yakuza OST's in-between
amazing
Love. U cleared up so much of my confusion and with no spoilers to the story.
I doubt thats true and not just what you think, as Jujis section already
made me stop this video thinking 'Oh, ok. This guy is literally clueless.'
Thank you for the video and your hard work
This was absolutely amazing. It was so awesome!
Yoshinobu is a freaking D&D bard.
Ok but oceanz music choices in this video aswell is just immaculate
Little corrections needed, Toni's senses couldn't make him see curses, he could however sense their presence. It's kinda like how in Naruto when fighting madaras limbo clones, Naruto couldn't see them but he could sense them and make out where they were and what they were doing.
Little correction needed. He can’t even sense them. It’s the changes in air pressure etc that he actually senses. Because curses physically interact with the world he can sense the small changes around the curses to “see” them
You are a madman for making this video and i love it
(1:17) Man, he is lucky that Hakari's innate technique hadn't been elaborated on at the time.
He's satoru Gojo, he can do anything. When he eventually dies in the series somebody's going to have to put that on his grave
Doing gods work
I wish someone would write a story where the MC was isekai'd to a cultivation world and had the Gojo template, combined with the Heavenly Restriction of not being able to cultivate using Qi/spirit energy.
You are freaking awesome for this video! Thank you for all the work you put in! Can't wait for the Culling Games update.👀
23:43 What I hear is that Gojo can do a Hakai, proving himself the God of Destruction of his universe
You beast man! Gonna watch this on my train rides
This some good content right here
My man Gojo’s ability is to make theoretical matter real
I cracked UP when you said “Toji fushiguro-an absolute UNIT of a man.” Thank you for that, sir. 💀
