The dedication in your journey is admirable (what a difference lighting can make, right?). I still can't get over how lovingly you paid tribute to a film I adore so much. It feels like a fever dream when I watch it, a story I'm so intimately familiar with suddenly looking brand-new. You took an intangible experience we all enjoyed on a screen and built it from the ground up yourselves. You made a collective dream the world shared become reality. From your perspective for a while, you were just moving those toys around like Andy. But much like the beginning of TS3 itself, we got to see that playtime come to life. Well done.

Reshooting was the best decision you could have made. I’m sure the original version would have still been decent but it wouldn’t be fondly remembered over time like this one will. Quality over speed. Bravo guys!

This is completely gnarly. I wish I'd been talented and motivated like these guys when they were young. This, and also the guys who made the shot for shot remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark, were incredibly clever kids who were persistence personified.

Holy cow! I never even considered how you did the disco ball lighting for that scene, I totally forgot that because it was stop motion you would have to do something for that, I know you guys have been praised to the rafters and back but really well done on everything! If you guys don't end up working for either Pixar or laika there is no justice in this world

Toy Story 3 IRL that’s awesome! I love it too! I re-discovered it in 2015 and I think it’s a great show, I really want to do something in a similar style, I get so inspired by it (your content inspires too!)

How'd you guys do the expressions on the toys? I was surprised to see Woody's mouth open and eyebrows shift in the film.
You can purchase a package with replaceable faces. It has 2-3 different expressions!
