I eat eggs wheat toast spinach organic mayo for breakfast then oatmeal for lunch then grilled chicken breast I’ve lost 55 pounds
Congratulations! I hope that that is sustainable for you and you're enjoying the meals you're eating. I'm glad you're going back to basics.
In how long ?
I just found you on one of my worst Ozempic days. I ate a small cup of applesauce for breakfast and at 4:30 pm am cooking potatoes. This is all I have had for the last 2 days that stayed down! I have a lot to learn, obviously!!! ❤️
I’m so sorry to hear that the nausea has you down. I hope you feel better soon, and glad this helped 💕
I’m with you! Day 4 on Trulicity. Today so far is the first day of not vomiting yet. One scrambled egg at 8:30am no fat Greek yogurt w/12 oz of protein & a banana at 12:45pm. Just trying to figure out what I can eat for dinner. Thank goodness for UTube bc no guidance from my doctor.
I've been on Ozempic since mid-May. I, too, was given no advice from my Doctor. I am grateful for sites like this one--that's where I've been getting all of my information from. I've had some side effects, but, eating protein does help. I have not yet weighed myself. My follow up with my Doctor is next week. I have seen/felt a difference with how my clothes feel. Best to All.
Hello, I am glad I found you, I needed someone who I can relate to and someone who really understands. I started Ozempic again after several years. My first time with Ozempic was not good. No weight loss, just constipation.
So wth prayer and a new prescription for Ozempic
and a better understanding of the medication I am going to give another try.
I am a T2D.
This is my week 1 Ozempic!!❤❤❤
I’m going to watch this a few times. Just got Ozempic, scared to use it. Gonna wait until my day off and pray I have no issues. Gonna just eat veggies. I didn’t realize the food we eat could be problematic on this stuff.
I found your video today. I’m on 0.25 Ozempic. I eat a plain romaine salad for breakfast, hard raw veggies for lunch(celery with cheese whiz, 1/2 English cucumber, 8 baby carrots and 3-4 radishes). Then soup for dinner. This keeps my blood sugar at around 7 all day and I have clear thinking.
Is that sustainable?
Your information was so clear concise and the most helpful I have found!!! Thanks so much!!!
Love your channel!!
Thank you so much good information.
Just found your channel. I look forward to the information that you will provide
Interesting video since I was looking for information on Ozempic since I’m starting it and heard that you had to avoid certain types of foods from other videos so I looked for more information and found your video. You gave good information on the foods to eat and avoid thanks for the information.
I agree that all foods fit! I love that balance and moderation is discussed here!( I’m EazyJean from your Bezzy Community by the way😀)
Hi mila. Oh wow, just found you What a find! I just started ozempic 2 weeks now. And having some side effects. And needed a coach/mentor. I’m pretty good with what I’m eating for diabetes but needed help while starting the ozempic. It’s challenging also because I have food allergies. Snd pollen ragweed allergies which cause vascular migraines. I’m having some nausea gas etc. trying to get the food diet I’m eating right.
Some fatigue this second week. I was against taking the ozempic knowing there are some side effects. But willing to try. Because I’m fighting 25 30 lbs. to lose.
I’ve lost 20 and kept it off. A gain of 50 when my dad passed 16 years ago while in menopause. I’m 66 now.
You are a bright light, and a beacon for me. I have never gone to a support group since being on insulin 1 year ago. And I need someone to help guide me besides my wonderful endocrinologist. My sister is a nutritionist so I’ve gone to her for the basics. I eat fairly well all what you have talked about. Occasionally eating the higher sugar and fats.
But I needed the help while taking ozempic and just found you tonight. Woke up at 3 am. I’m getting better sleep consistently and trying to drink the right amount of water. I’m also starting to walk more and will be swimming. It’s the amount I’m working on while adjusting to the ozempic. So I’m not nauseous tired shaky or fatigued. And have some headaches the first 2/3 days after the injection. I was on 0.25 first week and now took 0.5 The 2nd and 3rd week. I also take 32 insulin (long lasting) every night and 1 500 mg metformin once a day (long lasting)
I will get the app and continue to watch your videos. You are a very kind soft spoken woman, that explains everything so perfectly.
Thanks for listening. And by the way, love your name!
Excellent video thanks for posting this. Very helpful.
Thanks so much for watching! I’m glad it was helpful 💕
Much appreciated, Mila! ☮️💟
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.
I started craving more sugar since I went up to 1mg … this week I am going back to0.5 and see how my body responds
I am on week 1 and tonight i ate a small cinnamon roll and a bit of soda 8 ounces. No bueno and this girl will never do that again. Got nausea and ended up vomiting. Blood sugar was 440. Highest it has been all week. No nausea up until I ate badly.
Thank you for this info!
My pleasure!
I just found you thanks for the great information ❤
Thanks for sharing information with all of us
My pleasure. I just want people to know they can live happy, healthy lives.
I'm more concerned on loosing weight . I have been feeling bloated, extremely full when I ate certain foods didn't understand WHY > SAW video today n it makes sense... thk u
I wave started having some GERD. Acidic burps while sleeping. Basically heartburn. I recommend staying away from spicey food. Eat kind of bland protein. Not spicey meatballs. If it becomes a problem take some OTC heartburn meds and change up what caused it. Food stays on the stomach longer. Don't eat before bed. Get the majority of your protein in the morning.
Thank you this was very helpful I am using ozepic on my weight lost journey I am 500 lbs losing weight with osempic been on it four a month so thank you again
I am getting ready to start Ozempic and your video is really giving me a lot of great ideas for food choices. You didn't really mention dairy OR I was writing and missed it! My Achilles heel is ICE CREAM or Frozen yogurt. Can I still treat myself once in awhile? I think I read no cheese, etc. so I am thinking no diary. Thanks again for the great food ideas!
I highly recommend Chobani fatfree plain Greek yogurt. It's creamy and yummy and tastes almost like sour cream. Add a little ranch dressing dry mix to it for a guilt free dip 😋
I do this, too! I also put in frozen spinach (thawed & drained) and artichoke hearts (drained & not marinated). Very yummy dip!
This week, we'll today was my 1st dose, but no one talks about eating with this meds. So that's why I'm here to better communicate with health-care providers.
Thank you for this informative video🙂
Thank you for posting this video Mila it is very helpful! I am also taking Ozempic and Jaridance to help control my blood sugar.
I hope it’s going well for you, and I’m happy to help. I want everyone to live their best, healthiest life with diabetes. 💕
@@TheHangryWoman thank you💞
I don't have diabetes, but I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes last year. During the spring, I used diet and exercise to drop out of the pre-diabetic range in 6 months. But my weight loss plateaued while still in the obese zone, and my triglycerides and LDL remained high. As usually, my BP was high at the doctor's office, but was fine for my at home readings. I was told to keep doing what I was doing, but I'm not feeling confident. My next physical is in January, and I will be talking about Wegovy with my primary care doctor if my weight, LDL, and triglycerides remain high. Just a really long introduction to say thank you for the information you provide!
Thank you so much for sharing, Mary! I know that it can be hard, and I'm really proud of you for taking those big steps. There's nothing wrong with talking about GLP-1 agonists with your doc. I've found them helpful in my own journey with diabetes.
If you'd like some extra support, I have a free app that offers free health coaching to anyone who needs it. GlucoseGuide.app! I'd love to support you on your journey!
Once in a while I enjoy a crispy chicken sandwich from fast food places( only once in a while), I pair it with veggies or fruits and I like how my sugars are not spiked when I do this😀💪🏽
Thanks!
You are too kind. Thank you for the super thanks! I greatly appreciate it 💕
@TheHangryWoman You're welcome. I'm struggling so hard with this, and you're a big help. I only wish that I could afford more.
Helpful Ideas 👍🏽 #blessing
Glad it was helpful! I appreciate you watching!
Hey I just stared my ozempic yesterday
I’m feeling a little nausea. I had a headache, but I took some Tylenol but I’m not hungry at all I feel full.
Going on Ozempic next week and this video is so informative! Thank you!
How’s it going for you??
I took it for 5 weeks and lost about 20 pound. Overall the negative side effects were minimal in my case, other than the constipation and occasional nausea. Drinking alcohol also made me sick. I stopped taking it because I had some friends visiting and knew we’d be eating/drinking a bunch and I didn’t want to miss out, but have had trouble bringing myself back to using it. However, in the process I taught myself some calorie control measures so I’ve maintained the weight loss. My goal is to lose 30 more pounds so I think I will go back on for another couple months to speed up the process.
I feel so much better since I found your channel, you make the information easier to understand, and make me not feel so bad and hopeless about being diagnosed with diabetes.
So much love to you! I'm here for you!
Thank you❤️
You look great. I've heard about the Ozempic face, so happy to see you don't have that problem.
Hello I d2 n on Oze 3 yrs has lowered A1 BUT was never told WHAT foods to eat while on Oze, 😢 haven't lost weight went up to 220 . I NEED HELP
Hi I been on ozempic for a month I am starting to notice a change but not much...am going to start exercising. My maine problem is buying food for me am on disability and am barely making it to buy my food for me. I have three children and it is very hard to buy my food. Can you help me with what should i buy????
I am struggling with how to bring down high glucose at the time it’s happening and also what to do to bring up a low glucose reading. I am exactly like you with late onset autoimmune adult diabetes only I am 66 and have been diabetic for only 3 years…thank you Mila
I know that struggle, and I'm so sorry you're going through it. If you're on insulin, you may talk with your doctor about adjusting mealtime doses to help with highs. Also ask them to explain pre-bolusing (which can be helpful to getting ahead of the high). With lows, full sugar is what brings them up. Roughly 15g of carbs every 15 minutes while you're watching your glucose. Things like sugary candy, a full sugar soda, honey, or glucose tablets can be helpful in this instance. Quick acting carbs is the goal for for hypoglycemia. Hope this helps, and good luck!
New Subscriber! I just completed a week of Alternate Day Fasting while taking Ozempic. What are your thoughts on IF and Alternate Day Fasting?
Thanks for subscribing and for being here. I think IF and Alternate Day Fasting are effective in the short term, but I don't think they're sustainable, long-term solutions.
For some, they can lead to binging behaviors, or guilt around eating. My approach is around consistent meals and snacks, and adding more plant-based sources. It helps keep you satisfied, and blood sugars balanced!
@@TheHangryWoman - I can see that happening. I agree with you completely! At some point we all have to learn how to feed ourselves in a healthy and sustaining way. I did well with it but I couldn’t see myself doing in long term either. Thanks for the response and I look forward to your videos!
🙌🏼❤️
Hello I’m type 2 diabetic. I’ve been on ozempic for 2 months and have not lost any weight. My appetite is somewhat suppressed but I noticed that I still have cravings. When I feel fuller for longer like hours or more after awhile I feel like if my sugar levels drop and get anxiety I don’t know if it’s the medicine or if I’m having anxiety so I feel like I need to eat more even when I’m not hungry😢 also after I finish exercising I feel exhausted. Is this normal? next week my dose goes up to 1.0. Any suggestions?
You might try to count your protein and focus mainly on getting protein in your diet.
This is basic type II 101. If you follow this guideline you should lose weight with or without Ozempic. Good solid advice but not much dialogue related to Ozempic. I’m about to start but I’m a bit nervous.
The thing is, people don't know this. And they'll take Ozempic thinking they can still eat high carb, calorie dense foods and still get the drastic results they're aiming for. I think this needs to be stated still. BUT, not everyone can easily lose weight without Ozempic. Ozempic helps very much with insulin sensitivity, blood sugar balance, and slowing digestion.
Not a criticism just more of an observation. Your info is good just doesn’t seem to highlight much about Ozempic. Seems to be alot of negative almost scary info out there on TH-cam which is making me apprehensive about this. I do need to lose weight and have A1C that has come down to 6.5 but all the talk about nausea is off putting.
The only thing I can keep down is grilled chicken and steak. I'm one month in and I've lost a lot of weight. The only issue is, I'm not a big girl. Hopefully, these symptoms will taper off.
It definitely takes some time. Some people are more sensitive for a longer period of time than others.
Do try to add some fiber into your eating pattern if you can. Fiber really helps with nausea as well.
Hey love what foods can i eat to help me put on weight fast as a p-re diabetic I lost a lot of weight like crazy and pissing 7 times a day, i got another blood test on Tuesday thank you James from London xxxxxx
Hi James! If you have the ability, please see a dietitian for direct advice on what to eat to gain weight. They can give you a specialized treatment plan. I hope things get better soon.
@@TheHangryWoman thank you love

I am in this shot but I don’t see don’t results if weight the clinic person I can eat what ever I want
Have a question do you feel sick all the time on ozempic?
It's very tough at the beginning, but I promise it doesn't last forever. Smaller portions, lean protein, healthy fats and whole grains make a difference. Stay hydrated, and talk to your doctor about an anti-nausea medication if it feels like too much. You've got this.
i’m throwing up every night and really bad burps and gastric reflux. Need help with food.
Have you talked to your doctor about an anti-nausea medication? It might help to get you through those side effects initially.
I started ozempic 24 hours ago and threw up 6 times last night and 4 times this morning .
I ate a light dinner and only had a half cup of coffee and a piece of toast with a tablespoon of cream cheese. I am hoping this will subside. Does it?!
Frozen fruit and veggies are better then canned. Just a fyi
Don’t forget that frozen produce is packaged seasonally! Dont hold out on frozen produce!
Is diet coke 🤔 ok ? Someone help please 🙏
Diet coke can be fine in moderation. It does contain caffeine, so you may need to watch for that. But, it will not spike your glucose.
@@TheHangryWoman thank you 😊
I can't eat meat much on Ozempic as it gives me horrible sulfur burps and no thank you. I can't eat eggs either anymore. I do not eat veggies so with no meat I am left with freaking bread to eat. yeah we know what bread does. In 8 weeks I lost 15 pounds but gained some back already. I have to eat a lot of high fiber like oats cause Ozempic pretty much stopped my intestines. Going to the bathroom from every day to 1 time a week is not fun at all! So me and oats are good friends. I am about to only eat oats. I can't eat nuts either. Funny someone who barely eats to begin with is overweight and now fighting to lose it.
Hey I'm about to start on this journey. Were you able to find other foods to eat? The one you've made for yourself seems very restrictive.
Are eggs good
Eggs are a great source of lean protein, and zero carbohydrates!
This drug will cause a lot of tragic results. Early death with cancer and pancreas problems etc.
Stay the hell away
People talk about the risks a lot without the talking about the benefits. There is a risk to any medication out on the market. It doesn’t mean that it happens to a majority of patients.
For some, the benefits outweigh the risks, which is why it’s always important to honestly share your health history with your physician so they can assess your overall risk.
Diabetes also causes it
Thanks!
You are so wonderful and kind. Thank you for supporting my channel. 🫶🏾
@@TheHangryWoman great channel and real information. I appreciate that you tell the truth on your videos. I just crossed over into the type 2 range after being prediabetic for years, I don’t eat meat and the diabetic nutritionist told me to add meat to my diet. I dont want to!
I’ll be looking at your videos to help me along the way to a healthier life.
