Looks great. Do you have a video on re fitting the roof tiles? I'm lost on that part

Just wondering how the brackets are installed on a Colorbond roof, where it's not as simple as removing some tiles. Is it the same system or is there a different bracket type?

Exactly the same bracket with a different flashing assembly to suit metal roofing. Check out more of our videos on flyover roof and you will see them

@@SmartKitsAustralia I'm searching for the video you referred to but I have not found it thus far. I'm more interested in what is involved in removing the steel roof panels and cutting them accurately.

NO WAY! have you read the insulspan google reviews? Horrendous. We use genuine COLORBOND steel only, no cheap imported products.

Hi Scott. With this house, the Flyover Roof runs the water off to the original tile roof. I assume there is no gutter; with that said can the Flyover roof (allowing for proper height of course), extend past the beam (tied into the roof/wall frame) another 300-400mm? Especially if there is no need for a gutter? Also, were the brackets (tied into the house frame), cut down? I think they sit up about 500/600mm from the top plate timber but look a lot shorter once the tiles were put back and the beam was put on in video 2. How are they rated for windy areas? I assume in south East QLD they’d have a high wing rating? Finally, thanks so much for the Vids.

We generally put a gutter on the new roof even if its falling back to the house. We can control the water dispersal point better this way. Our brackets are rated to C2 and we supply them into cyclonic areas regularly. The brackets are supplied in 600mm length and designed to be cut down on site.
