I walk on one side of the concourse entering and the other side leaving (hyperlapse) that way you can see just about everything.
The regular speed walk-ins are sped up 25% so the video isn’t so long. There are large areas of nothing in PDX, so he kicked up the speed a tiny bit. This should give you a good idea of how long it takes to walk each concourse in Portland International Airport (PDX)

I live in Oregon and I’m ten years old and I already know this whole entire layout!
Thank you for this video! So nostalgic. They really should’ve kept it this way. The new construction they did for the whole airport is so ugly and disgusting. Makes it harder and a hassle to walk all around. The new B gates are terrible and the fact that they created these new hallways are long and pointless to have to go around just to get to any of the gates. Also for the connecting flights, you have to leave security and go through it again just to go to the other side. They took out all of the good restaurants to eat at.
Bummer, sorry to hear that. Famous story - People were complaining their luggage was talking a long time, so the airport was redesigned to make people walk much farther. Not sure if it's true or not but not out of the realm of possibility.
I’ve been here so many times and I’m only ten years old! IY makes sense though. I do live in Oregon. But in all, it’s a great airport!

I will be connecting through PDX to get to Eugene in a couple of weeks and have about a 2 hour layover at PDX. Do you have to leave security and go through security again to go through that terminal connector or no?
Nope... you can do all of your terminal transfers airside, that is, past security.
ALinsdau it is so funny I just saw this reply as I am at PDX waiting for my connecting flight to Eugene
I got caught with a nerf gun in my pack pack in security in that airport.

Is an easy walk airport? I have a connection in pdx and 1hour layover..Also,my first fly
Yes, it's very easy to walk. It's about ~17 minutes from end to end if you walk fast. 1 hour connection shouldn't be a problem at PDX.

Apparently they got rid of the connector between the concourses A/B and D/E!
Construction. I believe it will return when the remodel is done. I believe that will be in 2025.

I just wanted to say this is one of nicest airports ive I ever been to. Nice stores, Nice aesthetics, good staff, clean and chill vibe. Of course you don’t have much of a choice is airports but a stop at PDX will be relatively pleasant one. Excellent Plane Station.

2 years before i have been to the beautifaul city portland, and therefore entered this airport twice. when i saw the gate C12 in the video(yes, i still keep the boarding pass) , i was really so excited, thank you! and the airport map with position mark in the videos is very helpful.
