Indeed. Chopin was a pianist through-and-through. His “orchestration” is perfect for the piano, but falls apart on any other instrument. The orchestra simply wasn’t for him. Imagine if Tchaikovsky or Mahler reorchestrated this piece. Then it would be perfect…
that is why you will never play it. If only you comprehended yourself playing masterfully, instead of comprehending that which puts you down. By now youd have mastered it.

@@matthewroman7429 i don't like arbitrary text changes. for example, from the very beginning, bar 10: why this glissando by the first violins? some idiotic rallentando, fermates and changes of tempo (i.g. bars 31-40) etc. i do not like such disrespect for the author.
When I first heard the Larghetto, I had no idea that Chopin wrote something other than music for solo piano.

Disagree. It's not as bad as bad schumann symphonies with perpetual doubling. It's not a virtuoso score, but it can be played very finely.
I can't comprehend that there are humans that can play this...
