This is incredible! I didn't think anyone would be able to make this out of foam, and I was only seeing 3d print versions online. So, thank you for the template! I know what my weekend plans will be!
Thanks! I knew when I saw it in the first episode, I wanted to make a foam version. There are so many elements to the helmet that it took a lot of planning to come up with the template in order to contract the final look.
Very cool video! Here is everything I wrote down as far as supplies are concerned. - 6mm EVA foam - 4mm EVA foam - 10mm EVA foam - 2mm EVA foam - heat gun - rubber contact cement - ca glue - rotary tool - zip kicker - foam clay - quick seal - pallet knife - plasti dip - acrylic paint - 20'' wig - hot glue gun - scissors
Thanks! It took about 2 weeks to fully develop and build the helmet. A lot was making a piece, figure out the next piece, attach that, and then figure out the next, and so on....
This is great man, it's such a complicated design but you broke it down to make it simple and accessible. Really great job!
Thank you very much!!!
There are so many details! I cant imagine how you were able to figure out where to start. Bravo!
Yes, there were a lot of details! It took quite some planning:)
