@Erich Yahner yeah I knew about that. I was just poking fun at how the left painted this like it was going to be like one of those communist weapon displays. Also how the first 10 minutes of the parade with the military procession is conveniently absent.
As a native the 4th of July is a lot of things to me, emotionally speaking, but pride resides over all. Greatest Nation ever. George Washington was my favorite non native person from history.

Donald Trump's event (entitled "Salute to America"), celebrating our nation's history and military, was held at the National Mall near the Lincoln Memorial.

We declared independence on July 4th 1776, it took until September 1983 to win. The patriots fought through the brutal summers and frigid winters. With no boots during the cold and no air conditioning in the summer. That’s just the way it is.
