    • @wimpieeeeee

      Yeah, the only good option I know of is the whitestone dome glass screen protector. It's a curved glass screenprotector where you have to apply the UV glue yourself. It's quite a tricky process but if you apply everything correctly it looks and feels really good. Also the fingerprint scanner works just fine.

    • @JHEntertainment98
      @JHEntertainment98 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wimpieeeeee I’ve used Whitestone Dome before. I’ve had issues with premature bubbling on them particularly at the edges.

    • @wimpieeeeee
      @wimpieeeeee ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @JCHGaming69 yeah I read about that. If I recall correctly some batch had a wrong angle with the curve or something like that. I used these screenprotectors on the Note 9 3x, S22 ultra 2x and now on the S23 ultra with no issues. I always combined them with cases from Spigen. Perhaps, if you used some other brand it might have come in contact the edges which could also mess it up.

    I was sceptical on first cos its tiner glass than oll others. I both two pack for 20€ and it wasn't cheap, but I yust swap the first screen on Samsung S22. And instalation is really a yoke. Best screen protection i hawe ever used. I will buy it again cos realy it sawes screen (2 times in my life screen has brake and i didnt hawe protector for feu days and screen yust snaps ) . Any screen protector is beter then none ,but this is the best of the best. Also I change screen whic is big deal cos Im not for that fidgety work. And at first no bubbles all like in commercial.

    • @HighTechCheck
      @HighTechCheck  ปีที่แล้ว

      So where I live it’s very dry and that’s not great for trying to use the fingerprint scanner because my prints are all full of cracks. I typically have a mixed experience with fingerprint scanners at any given time and this phone is no exception.

    • @neoquam

      Try to reconfigure your fingerprint with the glass on. It will help you recognizing it a bit better.

    • @larsjj2794
      @larsjj2794 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Two things you can do make it a lot better:
      - In display settings turn on "Touch sensitivity", which is Samsung own solution for using screen protector.
      - Register you finger twice, as being two separate fingers.
      Mine I now near perfect and I have zero issues.

  • @imraneo

    • @jovo21

    • @Zsolt_
      @Zsolt_ 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No-how. This is not supposed to be done long this, significantly decreasing security and accuracy. You should register two fingerprints separately instead.

    I think you are supposed to remove the protector cover (which you do last) BEFORE you press out the air bubbles. The reason I say this is because in the official installation video, they say to remove the protector cover and then press out the bubbles.
    Also, while the protector cover is still on in the official video, there are visible air bubbles underneath it, but they disappear when the cover is lifted off. So I'm thinking the air bubbles you are pressing away may just be from the protector cover, not actually under the glass protector itself.

    • @Bubbaxmonster
      @Bubbaxmonster ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No the plastic over the glass is waxy so the scraper glides instead of pushing on the screen

      @JordanJank ปีที่แล้ว

  • @johnjsal
    @johnjsal ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Is that an accurate drop test if it's just a small item being dropped onto the screen protector, rather than the actual phone being dropped onto the ground? I seriously doubt the phone itself, with the protector on, could last up to 8 feet before it cracked.

    • @Tony_9
      @Tony_9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was wondering that but thought a case would skew the results a bit. Some phone cases (for example: otterbox) covers the entire front edge of the phone. If dropped, the case would take a majority of the impact. We'd assume the screen is awesome from 8+ feet (case rated military grade x4, meaning it should protect from falls up to 8 ft). With this test, the screen protector is subjected the full brunt of the force applied at a point. Although it's not practical, it does offer an unbiased brittle test.
      I think the key takeaway is that this protector offers great performance for the price paid. If if fits with your phone case, it offers a comparable experience to other glass products that are three times the cost.

    • @mikaeo23
      @mikaeo23 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just buy a cheap glass protector then when installing hold the top or bottom and press 2 fingers down as you lower it and if any bubbles exist lift it back and press them out as you lower it further. Unfortunely dust will get underneath that cannt be helped without a clean room

      @@arturgoszczynski I am using a UV glue one on my S23+ too and one edge has started peeling. Glue leaves a residue when glass is lifted. How bad does yours look? Are you using a case?

    • @arturgoszczynski
      @arturgoszczynski ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@imraneo Very bad, I will not buy it again for sure. I use spigen air fit, but it is very thin and does not affect the glass in any way. The fingerprint also works very poorly, despite the fact that I calibrated it several times and saved the same finger many times.
      I was thinking of putting on the spigen now but I'm afraid if it will also peel off.
