ನಾನು ಕಂಡಂತೆ ಲಲಿತಮ್ಮ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಊಳ್ಳ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಮಹಿಳೆ 10ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ (ಸಮರ್ಥ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ) ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿತರನೆ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದರು. ಭುವನೆಶ್ವರಿನಗರದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡಿಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅಣ್ಣರ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಿಸಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತೆನೆ ಅಂದರು. ನನಗೆ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಪರಮಾನಂದವಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಲಕರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಪವಾಡ. ಒಂದು ದಿನವು ದಣಿವರಿಯದೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಲಸ ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಗ ನಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಸಂಬಳ ರೂಪಾಯಿ 12000/- . ಆದರು ಸಂಬಳಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆಸೆ ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಕನಸೆ ಬೆರೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಿರಂತರ ದುಡಿಮೆಯನಂತರ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿಯಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಯುವ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಂತೆ ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಆದರಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಮನೆ ಮಗಳಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಳ್ಕೊಟ್ಟೆವು. ಅದರಂತೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದು ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ನೂರಾರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಚಪಾತಿ ಮೆಂತ್ಯೆ ಚಪಾತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಮಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡಿ ಸೈ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ನಿರಂತರ ಆರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ದುಡಿಮೆಯ ಫಲದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕನಸಿನಂತೆ ಕಾಮಾಕ್ಯ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದ ಹತ್ತಿರ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಅವರ ಶ್ರಮದ ದುಡಿಮೆ ಹಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ತಾವು ನಡೆದ ಬಂದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕು ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ಆನಂದದ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕಾಯಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರವಾದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಇದೆ. ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಕನಸಿನ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಕೂಡಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿನಿಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡುವ ಅಳಿಲು ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮರ್ಥ ಯು ಕೆ ಪುಡ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕೈ ಜೊಡಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಸಂತೋಷ ಎನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಹೆಳಬೆಕೆಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಲಲಿತಮ್ಮ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರ ಚತುರತೆ ಕಂಡ ನಮಗೆ ಅವರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆದಾರ ಸ್ಥಂಭವಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಕನಸು ಕಂಡೆ ಆದರೆ ಇಂದು ಅವರೆ ಒಂದು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಇದು ನಿಜವಾದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೆನೆ. ಎಷ್ಟೊ ಬಡ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲು ಆಗದೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಶೋಷಣೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬಡತನವನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಂತು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಲಲಿತಮ್ಮನ ಕತೆ ಎಷ್ಟೊ ನೊಂದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಂತ ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆವಲ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯಾವದು ನಮಗೆ ಒಲಿಯುವದೊ, ಯಾವದು ನಮಗೆ ಸರಿ ಎನಿಸುವದೊ, ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆಯೊ, ಯಾವ ಕಾಯಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಹಿಡಿದಿದೆಯೊ ಆ ಕಾಯಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುವದು ಉತ್ತಮ. ಜೈ ಲಲಿತಮ್ಮ ಜೈ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಜೈ ಶ್ರಮಜೀವಿ. ಜೈ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿ.
