I used some plastic grinder wheels to clean all my pistons and cylinder walls. The hardest part was making sure I didn't mess the timing up. But I did, got it fixed going to start it tonight. Good luck with your build man !

Do you know anything about how close this engine is to the E16 in the B12 sentra? i am looking to do the GA16DE swap into my B12 because it is just too slow and blowing out oil.
Hey.. I'm not sure how close the e16 and ga16de, but I know that the b12 came ga16i, which is almost the same block as the ga16de. I have seen people even doing sr20ve into the b12 too. Most likely you will need the engine and the ecu to either swap (ga16de or sr swap).
Great video as usual man. I’ve got a 1994 B13 with the GA. I think it’s time for an even swap or refresh....I don’t know yet. Mine has about 293,000 miles so I don’t know if it’s worth overhauling it. Thanks for your info, man!!

Honestly, i don't know. All 4 pistons should be the same. But if they have a groove, maybe they have a different compression ratio. The stock compression ratio of my pistons is 9.5:1.
@@G2GBuilds you can use 76mm ycp vitara pistons from a d16z6 they are about $100 on ebay, and steel rods for $400 for the ga16. I've been planning to do this build for a long time..
According to the pistons and the slaves, course op problem might be fuel oversampling. Hotshots on pistons and decarbunised crown surfaces, is a big giveaway. Did you look for cause of problem?

Nice one brother!! Keep up the great content. Very few youtubers make videos on an engine such as the ga16de.

Hey!
What do you mean a manual?

Yes, Dillon is my friend..
I know he had ga16det, until he got the sr20det on his b13.
Thank you teacher
I have a ga15 engine single cam and I am turning it into a twin cam can I turbocharge it with the ga15 head
I think you can. Anything can be turbocharge. You must make sure you get fuel upgrades and tune in order to don't hurt your engine.
I don't have no high compression pistons for the engine so if I turbo it can I still get good power from it with the stock pistons
Yes, you can boost it with stock pistons. I'll recommend about 7psi with the right fuel upgrades and tune ecu for it.
Thank you you are a real help big up yourself

No. As know, i have not plans on it. I dont have enought funds for it.

Rebuilding the current one or replacing for another one are the only 2 options.

This engine went into a lean mixtures under 10psi which cause to lift the headgasket and crack two pistons.
