Some insights on each game's soundtracks, in case you're interested in my opinion:
KIRBY'S DREAM LAND ( ♪1 )
Well, it was a symbolic choice, really. It’s the first game in the series and its central theme, so I couldn’t leave it out.
KIRBY'S ADVENTURE / NIGHTMARE IN DREAM LAND ( ♪4 )
Even though it sure is one of the most important games in the franchise, its soundtrack isn’t that memorable to me, but it sure is extremely iconic and nearly all of its tunes have since become staples of the Kirby series.
KIRBY'S DREAM LAND 2 ( ♪3 )
I didn’t play much of this one, so there’s just a few tunes from it. The original Dark Matter tune is better than the Planet Robobot remix, IMO.
KIRBY SUPER STAR / ULTRA ( ♪8 )
Most of my selection used the original SNES music, since the difference isn’t that big from Ultra’s versions. Super Star’s soundtrack is perhaps the one people remember the most and there are some killer tunes in it. I ended up selecting less than I thought I would from this title though.
KIRBY'S DREAM LAND 3 ( ♪10 )
Dream Land 3 sure gets some love from me. It’s my second favorite soundtrack in the series and there’s no nostalgia involved, since I played this game for the first time only this year (2017)!
KIRBY 64: THE CRYSTAL SHARDS ( ♪13 )
Favorite game, favorite soundtrack. If you already listed to the whole thing, you sure noticed it, since it’s the title with the higher number of tracks in it. Nostalgia surely plays its part in this one, but this game’s music is superb nonetheless.
KIRBY AIR RIDE ( ♪6 )
Air Ride is the holy grail of many Kirby fans, but I really didn’t enjoy it back when it released. One thing I always enjoyed was its soundtrack though, of which it shares some tunes with the anime.
KIRBY & THE AMAZING MIRROR ( ♪5 )
Amazing Mirror is my second favorite Kirby game. I’m a fan of its maze-exploration layout. The soundtrack isn’t that memorable, but there are some great tracks, some of which gives me goosebumps due to its high levels of nostalgia.
KIRBY CANVAS CURSE ( ♪3 )
This one’s soundtrack is odd. It’s composed nearly entirely of remixes with a strange mechanical feel. In any case, I managed to include its three original compositions in the list. Canvas Curse outing in it may be short, but I tried my best to make it memorable.
KIRBY SQUEAK SQUAD ( ♪6 )
Squeak Squad soundtrack is average, to say the least. It’s not good and not bad. There was no way it could make it past top 50.
KIRBY'S EPIC YARN ( ♪5 )
Piano is perhaps my favorite instrument, but Epic Yarn’s soundtrack doesn’t have many iconic tracks. The ever-so-calm mood is a perfect match for this game’s style, but the songs don’t work that well when you’re listening to them separately.
KIRBY MASS ATTACK ( ♪3 )
I didn’t play much of Mass Attack’s main campaign, but I sure played a lot of its mini-games. I believe they’re even better than the main game! In any case, I didn’t listen to much of its soundtrack, hence why there’s few songs from it in the list.
KIRBY'S RETURN TO DREAM LAND ( ♪9 )
When Epic Yarn was announced, I was pissed. I wanted so badly a traditional Kirby game, since the last one we’ve got for consoles was back in 2000. While Epic Yarn turned out to be a solid game, RTDL is the one Wii’s worth for. To be honest, its soundtrack doesn’t feature a lot of memorable songs, but there are some that are among the series’ most memorable.
KIRBY TRIPLE DELUXE ( ♪9 )
Triple Deluxe soundtrack is like a improved version of RTDL’s. There’s a bigger number of memorable and catchy tunes in this one.
KIRBY AND THE RAINBOW CURSE ( ♪12 )
Rainbow Curse may not be a much memorable game, but its soundtrack sure is. It was composed by Shogo Sakai instead of the usual Jun Ishikawa-Hirokazu Ando duo, best known for the Mother 3 soundtrack. One of the best features of this soundtrack is that it features remixes from almost every Kirby game for no reason at all, just for you to listen in the sound test. They're SO GREAT I needed to include them as bonuses in some places.
KIRBY PLANET ROBOBOT ( ♪11 )
I didn't think Planet Robobot's soundtrack would improve much more from Triple Deluxe's, but it did a lot and became my third favorite of the franchise. The mechanical theme added a nice touch to the songs (different from Canvas Curse's soundtrack in which this theme made it weird).
SMASH BROS. ( ♪8 )
Well, I couldn't leave out the Smash Bros. remixes from the list because there's some tunes I absolutely love.
+vini64 In my opinion, Kirby’s Epic Yarn has the best Kirby soundtrack. Shogo Sakai also composed Mass Attack’s soundtrack
you should probably add some timestamps instead of your dumb insights
piratesephiroth Nope, the fun of it is not knowing what song will come next :D
vini64 That's a good point! Because people will have to watch the video to find out what is next! I like it! Also, Awesome work! It must have taken forever to make this! It paid off! :D
To be honest, all the tracks in Kirby's Epic Yarn are perfect in game, but listening to themselves is just okay. However, there are some really really good standouts, so I think it's still one of the best tracks in Kirby.
Im the kind of guy avoiding Waddle Dees, because in the Kirby universe they are like pedestrians, they are cute and they are friendly. Just jump over them.
The Kayak ones in Kirby's Dreamland 3 and the car and mech Waddle Dees in Robobot are my favorite!
The Epic yarn waddle Dee's that try to attack but just fall over and make a Squeak noise are my favorite
Nikurasu Just kill all the fucking Waddle Dees cause they're braindead enemies that aren't even NPCs
I just eat them

David Trujillo oh god that is creepy enough without having to run upstairs before being eaten.
And yep Drawcia's Soul is so scary looking.
Lololol
I was doing homework too at like 3:00am in the living room, and then I check to see why the music changed so abrupt (probably something to do with my airpods) then I saw the pitch black window. I got so scared because it showed the video was still playing. I took this as a sign to go to bed ;-;

Hello, everyone. I'd like to announce that I plan to make a sequel to this video next year, to celebrate the 30th anniversary! Since The Forgotten Land will have been released by then, I'll be able to include music from it and also from Star Allies. I'm planning for it to be even more ambitious than this one, so let's hope those plans come to fruition! Also, I'd like to thank everyone for the overwhelmingly positive comments this video has been receiving since it was posted. It makes me immesurably happy that one of my most popular videos is this one, a video that a put a ton of effort and love into!
Nice! Honestly, I was really on the lookout for it (hoping Dark Crafter will be included), with all those new remixes and themes I have a feeling it might end up being larger, but however it will look like, I really think it will be great.
wooooo
I'm so excited! I played this video so many times since quarantine started.
Nice! I guess Ssb Ultimate, KTC Deluxe, Kirby Fighters 2 and Kirby café remixes will be included for the selection too, right?
@@dvd7349 Maybe 👀 I'm just not sure about Kirby Cafe remixes because videos with them have been removed by Nintendo quite often, just like videos with the 25th anniversary concert songs.
Finally, another person who actually cares about this franchise and it's absolutely amazing soundtracks...
Like please, the music is too underrated
I hope the Kirby fandom will grow
@@thejbirdtm3331 I hope so too! It`s my favourite fandom!
Edit:I found the origin of my 2. favourite sound in Planet Robobot(the dark castle theme)
finally someone said this! Kirby is one of the most underrated franchises ever. it really deserves more respect, imo. I feel like a lot of people judge the franchise too quickly just because Kirby is a cute little puffball, thinking the games will be the same, too. when in reality, the games can have pretty dark themes and beautiful soundtracks, which is what makes Kirby amazing!

It is really true.
I really love the transition at 1:12:10 because you are happily listening to all the versions of Invincibility Candy (which is a really upbeat happy song) and then you suddenly cut to Drawsia songs whose are really dark and demoniatic, such a nice transition, like actually all the Kirby games, which can look really cute and happy but we know that stuff get weird and creepy when you are reaching the final boss.
Yes. Kirby games are like: First boss: Tree. Second boss: Fish. And it goes on and on like that until the final boss where its like: DEMON SEALED AWAY FOR DECADES WANTING UNFATHOMABLE POWER AND IS ALSO NIGHTMARE FUEL.
There are also giants bloody eyeballs.

Rezn It's the power of Drawcia :P
a thorough screw you for that one but I have to say it was awesome how you paid full tribute to how creepy the whole Drawcia battle is! The Drawcia's soul theme still makes me feel uncomfortable so long after playing the game
Is one of the characteristics of Kirby games, they seem very childish and all rosy, however, there are final bosses that have that disturbing and challenging essence, such as Zero, Marx, Magolor... Great work Mr. vini64!!! for choosing the best themes of this game ;)

- Meta Knight Defeated (Super Star)
- Looming Darkness (Return to Dream Land)
- King Dedede's Theme
whoa, sullied grace, what a way to finish this off! love it! i love triple deluxe and i love its soundtrack
I like more the world to win or fatal blobs in the moon light
@@tecnochilemapping3850 honestly i prefer those too, my favourite being the world to win, but im not gonna deny that sullied grace is great too
@@mirijoy1012 o you are weak o i thynk we have a similar hour in chile an i suppose EEUU and my english is bad . In the peesonal i don't like the slow start and the electric guitar sound don't like
now hes 31. time goes quick.
Who else thinks Kirby was at his most murderous in mass attack
Seb Melt I mean making nine more versions of himself to defeat his enemies seems pretty murderous to me.
He goes around raping everything in sight until they die, and somehow he’s still the hero
Squeak Squad.
Ironicly, its also the only game where he legit D I E S if you game over.
Necrodeus did kill 90% of Kirby in that game though
Thanks for introducing me to how great Kirby and the Rainbow Curse’s music is.
Also, could not be happier that Sullied Grace is at the top here! Have been jamming out to it ever since Triple Deluxe’s release
This really deserves more views for all the effort that went into making this, it's amazing.
8:14 the flute was so good, that my brain went numb
Rainbow Curse has an AMAZING soundtrack!

Don't you think I never saw that frame of scary kirby right when the invisibility theme inversed and transitioned to Drawcia's theme. No one else mentions this, for some reason.
True
gosh it’s amazing how some of these songs trigger such vivid childhood memories!! I remember playing Kirby mass attack the bus, and playing Kirby’s epic yarn in my childhood home’s living room. Thanks for putting so much work into this! Kirby has such a soft place in my heart
As soft as...pants?
49:19 HNNNGH!!! My favorite
I had to clap for the bass drop and I clapped so hard that my hand is bright red.
WORTH IT

Thank for almost giving me a heart attack.
Why the fuck did they do that shit I'm glad I was impatient and set it to 1.25
I’m glad that someone acknowledged that
What a masterpiece and array of music that Kirby music has to offer. I'm so glad that people such as you are able to represent this franchise so well. I really appreciate the editting put into this, and this for sure won't be my first time here. Thank you so much!
I seriously still listen to this video like all the time at work. Thanks for putting together such a great list!
oh my god this is amazing
Congratulations, this is a master piece. Thank you very much for editing this video-audio.
Thank you for making this, I enjoy this so much
I don’t need to drink coffee because these songs are the equivalent of a caffeine high
I thought this was official due to the sheer quality. Amazing work
im glad that you were able to get all these kirby music tracks, i love kirby :3
1:12:10 thank you for the amazing transition into my favorite song! Also the one that traumatized me as a kid
Thank you for putting this together!
2:34:21 this is where the fun begins, as it was perfectly synced as it should be.
2:34:27 *THE PEAK OF THE THEME*
*IT'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY SYNCED VERY WELL*
I sat through the whole thing. Excellent work making the songs transit into each other so smoothly.
Just amazing....
Truly the greatest soundtrack of all time. The (POYO!) man for life.😄
You know a game is good when literally the first theme you hear in it is considered one of the best themes in an entire franchise (I'm of course talking about the title them in rainbow curse).
Just wanna say you did an awesome job, not only the music medley part but the editing and matching each track with a clip from the game is just jaw dropping work!
I'm bopping along to Checker Knights right now. I know it's in Kirby's Air Ride, but for me, it will always be the theme of trouble brewing in the Kirby anime.
My top 10:
10. Dark Castle - Kirby's Dreamland 2
I utterly adore this track. The fast-paced beat, the intensity, the everything makes it one of my favorite GB tracks of all time.
9. Jambandra Base - Kirby Star Allies
Best. Green Greens remix. Ever.
8. Haltmann Works Company HQ Area - Kirby Planet Robobot/Moonlight Capital - Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Two amazing level themes that could only be side by side. HQ Area is a godly track that doesn't miss a beat with its symbolic motif usage without losing its incredible catchiness. Moonlight Capital was already great in TD, but Rainbow Curse said "hold my beer" and somehow did it better, making it go from top 5 level themes all the way to tied at #1.
7. Sectonia VS Hypernova - Kirby Triple Deluxe
Very underrated. The intro should probably already give it out, but this track is beautiful, motivating and, in general, just an amazing revamp of the Hypernova Kirby theme, also using so many other motifs throughout the series.
6. CROWNED - Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Pure. Bliss.
5. Hyness Unmasked - Kirby Star Allies
A perfect representation of utter insanity taken to the next level, streamlined and turned into song. It's not as utterly broken and almost incomprehensible as Money Machine, but i think it ends up working better in that regard, as it manages to represent its message so well without compromising the track itself. It's almost an interesting dichotomy between complete and utter insanity and actual legitimate evil, as Hyness's actions throughout the fight no longer can be just explained by a lack of coherent thinking and are easily visible as demented and horrific.
4. Sullied Grace - Kirby Triple Deluxe
This track perfectly represents both sides of the coin when it comes to Sectonia. While she does have the Beauty part, it is soiled by her obsessive personality, as she was slowly corrupted by the mirror that she obtained. Both of these are represented by two instruments that sometimes fight and sometimes work together throughout the song, the guitar and the organ. It's also ingenious to have that amazing intro with just the organ, as it represents a more peaceful, unbroken yet still somehow somber beginning of the story, as if foreshadowing the befall of the kingdom.
3. Milky Way Wishes Credits - Kirby Super Star
This track is utterly beautiful. It is incredibly catchy, adorable, and holds up incredibly well even after four post-renaissance games and countless spinoffs offering vastly superior or equal OSTs fought for the crown. Being the first track to properly apply both the Super Star motif and the Green Greens motif(something that only returns in CROWNED), i also see it as incredibly iconic. I just wished this track was in Star Allies.
2. Mind In a PROGRAM - Kirby Planet Robobot
My favorite track for years, this track is, to me, what, say, Reach For The Stars Orchestral did for Sonic and Champion Defense Battle did for Pokémon. A track that abides almost all of its final boss theme-ness to become a track that is just utterly beautiful and moving as it pretty much screams to you "HEY! THIS IS YOUR GREATEST MOMENT, YOUR FINEST HOUR! NOW DON'T SCREW IT UP!" Instead of reminding you that the world is at jeopardy, it inputs all of its energy into motivating you to win, and it's just a beautifully executed one. It makes me want to do stuff. I can do almost anything when listening to it. It somehow even works better than Sectonia vs Hypernova at it.
1. Dededestroyer Z - Kirby Battle Royale
Pure eargasm. Everything about it just screams intensity, without having to use many instruments that would be commonly associated with that, which is incredibly difficult in its own right. And that's because it worked so hard to make it a track that is both intense and final-boss worthy without making it not sound like a King Dedede track. I'm not even able to express my feelings on this one. GOD i love this track. I really didn't think anything could beat Mind in a PROGRAM but it just did. And without any intense symbolism or attachment. It's just an insanely good track, in a less than insanely good game.
Hyness Unmasked would quite likely be in my top 5 if this video was released after Star Allies. Overall, a great top 10 you've made!
Kirby Mass Attack was the first Kirby game I got and I would play it all the time when I was little :). I’m glad to see it get some recognition.
49:19 I wish I could play this song in band. My favorite
HOW DID I JUST FIND THIS? i needed this, and this was very well put together!
Glad to hear somebody loves the 02 theme :)
This is so sick man thank you for doing this and even including time stamps. Man I have a special place in my heart for Kirby 64 and it’s music. Amazing editing btw!
Sullied Grace is my favorite piece of music. I wanted it to reach the top 70 at least. Then it came time for number 1. I was thinking to myself that people have different tastes and that most people don't like the organ as much as I do. Then it started. I got chills, goosebumps, and a racing heart. I felt like I was fight Sectonia for the first time again!
you didn't put any ads, you're a saint.

In my childhood, I always feared Drawcia Soul (1st the apparition, 2nd the soul shouts and 3rd the boss itself) 0~0 1:15:11 Ow this scream gives me chills 1:16:06 . This boss is so ugly ! xD
But the Kirby franchise is anyway amazing ! Thanks dude for this great compilation ! Some memories come back ! ^^
I never got to win the game
AH.
I can’t believe it took me this long to find this wonderful compilation!!
It’s so good!
I just heard the whole medley. Kirby's soundtrack ftw!
Even to this day, this is still one of my favorite mixes to listen to :) ty for this
wasn't expecting Sullied grace to be at the end, even though its probably my favorite boss track of the series, including Moonstruck blossom.
People like you are why the Kirby community is so wonderful
This deserves so many more likes and views for the amount of work you put into this, thank you
100 Kirby songs. 100 good ones. Thank you for the collection of good Kirby music!
Came back for my daily view, thank you
I do not know how many times I've listened to this but the way you made this was amazing
this is all i want for chrismas
The transitions, segueing, and accompanying footage are PERFECT, this was a real joy to watch. :)
Time is really under Magalor's control. It's 2:22:22 when Under My Control appears.
this is amazing. great work!
How did you get verified?
You didn’t have to edit a music compilation this well dude.
Wait until you see the sequel later this year!

I still remember doing yard work listening to this for the first time, and it was so dope how you did the invincibility edit! I always have to come back to it for that part lol
I'm glad TH-cam recommended this to me. Gosh do I love Kirby games.
Some people have their " Lofi Chill Hip-Hop Beats to Relax/Study to," but I have this. Thank you, and congrats on making a 3-hour comp of the world's best music. Edit: I just want to say, wow man. I think it shows when you respond to a comment ( or in this case, heart it) even though this vid is 2 years ago. And I meant what I said, this is really good. Went right into my bop playlist. You, my good friend, have earned a sub and a like without fail. I'm sure you hear a bunch of comments on how amazing this is, but really: this is one of, if not THE best Kirby mix I've ever heard. Good luck on your future endeavors, and thank you.
