I've ordered a couple of Tandorios without the logo. I can see anyone in the UK talking about the watch in the pub being asked why it was named after Indian food. Easier to just not have the name on it.
I am confused abt the same thing, logo or not. Logo is like Indian food and without logo looks off. How it’s working out without logo?? Do people ask why there isn’t any logo?? What brand it is?
I've not had people ask you, however you can sometimes tell that someone has looked at it and can sense that something is off (due to missing logo), but they can't put their finger on whats wrong as its still got the other text below the hand set. I actually think the logo without the wording by itself would work just fine@@karanmail90
I scored the same watch in sterile batman for $78 U.S.! It's cleared customs and I can't wait to compare it to my SSK003. I'll probably mod it with a white dial I have in mind.
I have this watch and I've been wearing it for about 5 days and it gains about four seconds a day which is approximately 99.99% accurate I'm a nurse so I used my watch a lot on the job I also have my cell phone on a clock on the wall but I prefer using my watch and to be frank I will not spend $10000 for watch to tell me the time because that is all I want a watch to do
I bought a GMT Master II many years before all the hype and its still my fav watch but im going to buy one of these and retire the fat lady to the safety of my vault. Great review thanks brother
After buying 6 watches during the summer sale (and no, I don't have a TH-cam watch review channel), I'd promised myself that I wouldn't buy another watch till the November sale. I must have watched this video a dozen times, all in the name of "research". Damn those AliExpress ruffians, pelting me with discount codes. I just picked this one up for 64€, including 21%VAT and shipping. I was on the fence between this one and the Pagani PD-1662, especially due to the bracelet, but AliExpress made my mind up for me.
@@johnswatchjoint It's been here for all of three hours, John, and I'm already smitten. Crikey, this is one good-looking watch. I'm happy to report that the "glidelock" feature on my clasp works flawlessly and that everything lines up perfectly, the GMT hand with the other hands and the bezel insert. Is it faultless? Of course not. It's got "Pagani-level" lume and that male endlink on a jubilee was a spectacularly bad idea (although not as noticeable on the wrist). But for 64€, this is a LOT of watch. I can't stop looking at my wrist. Ask me what time it is. Go on, ask me. ☺
Hi I’ve found a great looking version on AliExpress but it’s telling me that despite showing a price in GBP, they won’t ship to UK. Have you seen this beginning and is there a way around it?
I don't know why you are not able to get it in the UK. I have checked my link and it is still valid for UK. Check you have your currency and location settings right in the app / desktop site. I think you'll find that is where the problem lies :)
Hi I got the blue version , pretty happy with it after getting the dremel out on the razor blade clasp ok now , it gains 12 seconds a day should I try to regulate it or is that as good as it gets?
That's right. As I said at the end of the video I swapped the bracelet to let you see what other straps and bracelets look like as it is a strap monster. The original bracelet is truly awful.
John an in-depth review. I agree with you chaps that this brand along with Berny is hungry for foreign market share. Homaged bodies utilising Japanese movements are their strength. It will take many more years for them to mass produce affordable quality but they will eventually get there. John would love to see this watch on a nice leather, NATO or rubber strap?
Forget the NATO strap, try an RAF MOD (Royal Air Force-Ministry of Defence) strap. IMHO the NATO strap, with the extra loop, makes the watch sit too high on the wrist. I knew a Rooskie who got his hand caught in some machinery wearing a NATO strap. Nasty. RAF MOD is nylon like the NATO. If you don't want to buy an original, buy a knockoff NATO strap, cut off the extra loop and seal the edge with a lighter or a match. (I publish this hack because I realise folks blogging here are either A) CHEAP MICKS (like I thought I was until my niece did a 23 and me). Or B) THRIFTY SCOTS, like me.
The other day I've seen a review of the "Batgirl" version and I didn't like it because it had the same red GMT hand. This one looks much better. It's great to see a nicely engineered bezel at this price. But shame about the dodgy clasp.
Yeah...I made a point at the end to put it on multiple straps as it is a strap monster. For the price you are really buying the watch...not that gawd awful bracelet and strap but at least Tandorio are trying new things. They will learn.
Hi John, very nice review. Bliger and Tandorio are the same company. Most of what you get on Tandorio, Bliger also stocks. I am Australian and the price of Tandorio as per your review is around $160 AUD. The same thing as Bliger with the same specs is $150 AUD....looks the same to me. I have four or five Bligers and they are good for the price....the clasps on their bracelets are always questionable.
Hi Kenneth. Thanks for the info. This the fifth Tandorio I have reviewed. Branding is unfortunate but they do make a decent budget watch. They made a mistake opting for this bracelet though :/
I bought the model with green-black ceramic bezel for 90 USD including discounts. But the bezel of your watch is alloy, not ceramic. because they cannot produce it in red decorated ceramics yet.
@@johnswatchjointOo yes sorry but I'm not very good at spoken English . This watch is so good. Perfect in every detail. But with the alloy bezel, you may experience discoloration problems over time.

They do. Just say its a home mart or modders watch. I wear the watch batman gmt master in this video. @karanmail90
Sounds Italian to me!
This watch is on my radar
If this had an independent hour hand and better Lume, this would be one heck of a watch.
And it would be thousands of dollars 💰
@@johnswatchjoint Fair point!
I am wearing the same model Right now. Best daily beater GMT for the money.
How has it held up? Any issues?
@chriskelly509 using it for months now. Pretty good and durable. Get the logoless imo.

Sounds cool 😎
So, how is it
What white dial did you use it?
the nh34s are great movements. I have an Invicta that's accurate to 1 sec per day. You can't beat it. That's the Coke bezel not the Pepsi btw
Yeah I know, a little message pops up in screen letting you know it was a blooper... .

The strap clasp is a Rolex design glide lock.
Erm..... I know what they tried to achieve... but this just fell apart!

Nice one. I knew it would be a simple fix. Thanks 🙏
You missed the misalignment of the '12' on the bezel at the 6 o'clock position.
I missed it because it's not there. I suggest you have a look at other GMT bezels and you will see that is standard.
Tissel used a similar clasp with the Tick Tack spacers.
Great review and a decent Watch on the whole.
Thanks Jon. Didn't know that and didn't expect to be back - engineering a clasp in order to put it back together again haha 😆
Can you adjust only the GMT hand?
Yes

I would leave unless you have done it before. That's about the norm.
How is it that the bracelet is not the same at the end of the video? Looks as though you swapped it with a couple others there.

Good video but I think I'll stick to my Steeldive SD1993 GMT Pepsi. It's a much better watch all round.
