Check the mapping. Russian forces have been crumpling the western side of the Kursk salient while continuing to advance in other areas. Making it was an accomplishment, holding it is proving harder.
@williammorris584 I don't think we should be focusing on the map though. If we were focusing on the map, WW2 would have been a solid Axis victory for nearly the whole war. Same with USSR attempting to seize Afghanistan. This is a battle of collective willpower. The lines on the map change VERY quickly when one side has to give up. Russia is being bled out both economically and militarily. Ukraine has the economic and military might of the West backing it. Nobody knows how this will end, but the map is a poor metric. Does the map show that russia no longer controls the black sea? Does it show all of the burning oil refineries and weapons depots that Ukraine has destroyed? Does the map show the dire state of russia's economy? It does not.

I suspect the true number of deaths is massively higher due to the nature of Russian attacks, modern drones, long distance capabilities etc.
I'm just curious where the dead too injured ratio comes from? That might be right for a NATO country that actually cares about personnel. I saw a video today where Russian soldiers dropped a stretcher with a WIA, and took off running. It also seems, from what I've seen, Ukraine cares for its wounded much better than Russia. I wouldn't be surprised if Russia's KIA to WIA isn't much higher then Ukraine's
The Telegraph should debate when UK should give up its permanent seat in the security council in light of the illegal wars it has been involved rather than trying to punish a country spanning 11 time zones with more nuclear warheads than US. Dillusional or what.
I'm an Aussie. My half ister's grandparents emmigrated from Ukraine post WWII. The guy I sit next to at work has Ukrainian grandies. When I was a teenager I went to a party and we drank home made vodka - the hosts were Ukrainian Aussies. I don't know what the numbers are but just anecdotally I think that post WWII there were more than a few Ukrainian immigrants and as such I think a lot of Aussies support Ukraine at least emotionally.
I must add, thanks for an Aussie on our response to the war. I think we need more time for a balanced outcome. We don't have a realistic army. We're tiny. We're the Best man or woman.
I agree with the comments regarding Australia government and defence with its reluctance to release decommissioned equipment to Ukraine, in particular the helicopters. It's the most inept government in my lifetime.
Ukrainian troops have left their positions near the village of Andreyevka in the Artyomovsk sector of the line of engagement in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), law enforcement officers told TASS. "The enemy fled from near Andreyevka where it has long been holding positions, it has retreated," the officers said. According to them, Ukrainian troops are currently making attempts to entrench behind the Seversky Donets-Donbass Canal.
Russia must hit rock bottom before even having a chanse to "change"..first of all,Ukraine must win and Putins regim gotta go,but thats up to the russians them self tho...if Russians want to have some kind of normal relations with the West they GOTTA change first, the whole system gotta change.gonna take time and effort but its really up to them self..our task is to help, support Ukraine to be succesfull at the end in this war,to win, sooner rather than later..Slava Ukraini!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇸🇪🇸🇪🇬🇧💯👍
We should have a law that forces people who are pro-war to be frontline troops. I GUARRANTEE we'd all be listening to a very different story. It's insane how eager these lunatics are to wage war to defend the borders of foreign countries we have no ties to but do EVERYTHING to weaken our own.
I like to know what the Australian Labor party is thinking of in respects to Ukraine. It is a no brainer to back Ukraine to the hilt, wake up Albanese.
Unfortunately regarding Australian armaments, the issue was largely one of budget. I understand the army had to fund all the details involved in fixing and shipping some very outdated helicopters to Ukraine. That would have impacted on their meagre budget as the government would not fund it. Hence the destruction of the helicopters instead. It’s great to see the impact negative publicity can have. Australians hate waste and authoritarians and support for Ukraine stays strong, so hopefully the government will come up with funding to ship over the tanks to Ukraine. A small price to pay for our future.
The fact was that the manufacturer offered ADF much money for the parts in storage and on the helicopters. Because they are setting up a hot spares department!

Sounds like they read Orwell
I'm an Aussie. My half ister's grandparents emmigrated from Ukraine post WWII. The guy I sit next to at work has Ukrainian grandies. When I was a teenager I went to a party and we drank home made vodka - the hosts were Ukrainian Aussies. I don't know what the numbers are but just anecdotally I think that post WWII there were more than a few Ukrainian immigrants and as such I think a lot of Aussies support Ukraine at least emotionally.
Criticized planned economy, what we should do! have a planned economy... Lmao
Why Israel does not submit to sanctions towards Russia? Why nobody talks about this?
because western propagandists are not allowed to criticize Israel.
Don't know, and they do.
Outstanding
Thanks
As a Australian I’m appalled this labor government is not donating old equipment to Ukraine.
The Australian Labour party has long known for its Red undertone
Every time I hear Selinsky speak I asked myself if he is mentally stable

Russia lost already failed propaganda without facts whatsoever but shovels?🤣🤣🤣👀
I must add, thanks for an Aussie on our response to the war. I think we need more time for a balanced outcome. We don't have a realistic army. We're tiny. We're the Best man or woman.
PROPAGANDA!

Yes. Bots are BS. Well done for pointing that out.
❤Ukrainians ❤

I agree with the comments regarding Australia government and defence with its reluctance to release decommissioned equipment to Ukraine, in particular the helicopters. It's the most inept government in my lifetime.
Great podcast. Hi everyone from Ukraine ✌
All are safe?
Is Elenski still around! 🤣
Never heard of anyone called Elenski Is that one of your fellow bots?
Question : what is the aim of that?
159 countries have joined brics, the us dollar is in real trouble.
There is no such thing as Russia occupying Ukrainian territory; rather, Russia reclaimed the economic zone of ethnic Russians.

So succinct. A truly wonderful appraisal of the failed efforts of Putin to subjugate his neighbours and the wider world. Bottastic!
Great guests today!
Jezz, propaganda much, some real journalism would be nice People prefer comfortable lies than hard truths .
Human made problems caused by human made weapons to kill other humans. That is war from my view.
Ukraine is winning!

Vuhledar is encircled. No way out.
No one says NATO quite like that, I would suggest.....I say....what!.
We should have a law that forces people who are pro-war to be frontline troops. I GUARRANTEE we'd all be listening to a very different story. It's insane how eager these lunatics are to wage war to defend the borders of foreign countries we have no ties to but do EVERYTHING to weaken our own.
Missing details and witnesses of "‘captured hundreds of conscripts (Russian)’ in Kursk"
I like to know what the Australian Labor party is thinking of in respects to Ukraine. It is a no brainer to back Ukraine to the hilt, wake up Albanese.
The Australian Labor party has long been known for its Red roots! 😅

Was that meant to mean something, or was it just some sort of Haiku?

May I respectfully submit that your reference to The Guardian's piece on "ENRC - Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation - was once one of the most valuable companies on the London Stock Exchange, worth £20bn at its peak", was not an investigation by The Fraud Squad but by The Serious Fraud Office - The SFO.
Such a disastrous mistake by your team is not trivial. Very disappointing.
