They were asking him “who are you supposed to be?” cos it was Halloween. Everybody was wearing costume.

This is definitely in my top tier list of Batman films. Great cast, solid story and I loved that they went down the noir/gritty road with this one. If I did have any gripes with this film, I'm getting bored of them trying to crowbar the Joker into every story now. Don't get me wrong, I love the Joker as a character but I want to see them flesh out some other villains for a change. Also, I didn't like Colin Farrell as Penguin, but then again I'm not a big fan of Farrell in general. There were a couple of other bits about it that I was unsure about but they're mostly nit-picky things that I can look past for the most part. I go back and forth between giving The Batman a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and a soft ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2
The opening monologue is the best opening in a Batman movie I'm craving and hoping for more in the sequels 💯
Seeing this in theaters was an epic experience. I was a little skeptical about Robert but he absolutely killed his role as did everyone else. Just a beautiful film, felt like a little kid watching it.

Lol after i watched that first trailer I wasn't skeptical at all.
He went to Falcone because he figured he’d help him out as a favor for saving his life
The cowl is bullet proof at the end fight scene when he looks both ways at the riddler's henchmen and they both fire bullets you can see a bullet ricochet off his cowl.
That was adrenaline he injected himself with (not Venom). The art book from the film has a close up of the vial.
Fun Fact: The twins are actually Batman villains called Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Ironically with the mentioning of Tim Drake, the guy at the beginning with his face painted halfway who was being initiated into the gang plays a live action Tim Drake in the TV show Titans :D

I see you are somewhat verse in the Batman lore since you mention Jason Todd. The two most critically acclaimed series amongst DC are Batman the Animated series and Young Justice. Young Justice is more adult themed and has marvelous character development. Would you want to add it or some other great DC animated properties to your list of rections.

hell nah, its the best overall live action batman film, the dark knight is a classic but bales batman performance was bland and he was overshadowed by heath ledger
