You totally deserve more subscribers. Your content is just as good or better than some fishing you tubers with millions of subs. Keep grinding and making videos👍🎣
Those were some absolute stunning brook trout. The colors on those were beautiful and what I picture when you think about catching one. You are so lucky to have access to such excellent fishing. Especially with a multi species lake and the possibility of catching a mixture. Thanks for sharing and watching this stuff never gets old.
9:30 ON point. The best feeling is working really hard, exploring, then finding the most rewarding spots. It is not only 100% part of fishing... its one of the best parts of fishing. It takes spending a lot of time out fishing, before we come to realize that catching a fish is not always what we are out there fishing for. Great video my dude, your production & editing skills keep getting better. You deserve all the success coming your way.
Great video here buddy, your spot on about not sharing your fishing spots to social media or anyone, I never do either, there's a reason why people call them secret fishing spots and there own, tell the world then everyone will be there, never targeted Brook trout, but that is on my bucket list, sure looks tasty though the way you seasoned it up next to your homemade hash browns great stuff
I am subscribing. I like most of your adventures, especially this one with the fried fish and them taters. Made me want to meet you there with my paper plate. L0L Ron in los angeles
Theres lakes all over that mtn. I used to go lake hopping up there too... made the few hour drive to southern Utah and then make my way towards Panguitch to finish it off. Definitely a full days work of driving and casting.
Great video man you absolutely deserve more subscribers and views! After living in Utah for over 25 years I respect the fact you don't reveal the locations of these lakes/ponds since there is limited resources. Definitely recognize some of these spots though haha ;)
Dude those are the exact words I say to people. There is a LIMITED resource and people treat it like a video game where they can just res pawn and start over. They keep 10 pound fish and limit out every single day and then wonder why the fishing is so bad😅😅 you won’t catch me revealing these places (unless it’s like Utah lake where you cant get any more fishing pressure) and I delete comments that say where the spots are. Thanks for watching man!
I'm a little surprised there isn't any ice. Do you know if there is ice on the lake where you caught that nice 20" brown a couple weeks ago? I might head over there Saturday.
@@bassntroutfishing thank you. I appreciate the information. I'll do you a solid. If you PM me I'll line you up on a lake that is good right now. You will likely best your PB rainbow for this year, if you go.
@@bassntroutfishing Just a follow up. I tried to head over the mountain last Saturday, but got caught in a serious blizzard on I-70 and ended up turning around. So I went to a small reservoir not to far from where I live and had an epic day catching more tiger trout than I have in a long time. Over 50 trout caught and released. Love it when the stars align.
It’s not to be rude, it’s the simple fact that there is a limited resource and if you get to many people at a fishing spot it destroys it. Less fish, smaller fish, smarter fish. One day if people don’t learn that there isn’t a limitless resource there will be no more places like this. I would do yourself a favor and keep your honey holes to yourself.
I've never met a real fisherman that kept thing like that to them selves.... well not the younger ones anyways... that's why I fish with older fisherman there willing to share there knowledge and keep this going to younger generations.... but guess that dies with the younger folk
@@jackimperatrice4599 ok well you don't get it both ways. you can't have good fishing at a lake that gets tons of anglers everyday, it destroys it. "real fisherman" explore and find fishing spots themselves without turning to the internet to have spots literally given to them. people like me who don't share my spots with hundreds of people actually help save the resource for those who actually deserve it. but what do I know.

Haha😅 you know it
Awesome vid
Thank you!
I appreciate you not telling people where you fish. I fish the same spots, and its really nice to get a day and a lake to yourself.
I think if you keep your Instagram active it might help build your TH-cam subs love the videos every week

Well this was filmed like a week and a half ago, so it might now, and no, no ice on that lake other than in the morning there’s a really thin layer.

Wonder how many times he said got em 🤣
My biggest brook trout is 19in and i
mounted it
You been watching the fire box stove guy’s vids? He likes to cook his trout with hash browns as well...
I always tell everyone my where I’m fishing at. I want others to have fun also. I guess everyone is different.

No blah blah.... Just catch n cook.... Nice video...
Where is this spot? 😋
I like your policy of not divulging your spots. People need to get a map and do their own research. Part of the reward.
@@michaeljanik7597 joking duhhhh
Lol..."not a very big one"; would be trophies around here if they're wild fish
The brook trout are post spawn right now which explains why they're so skinny.
How about you stop bait dunking and you catch some fish on the fly. Casting a worm at a fish takes no skill.
How about you go watch someone who fly fishes
@@bassntroutfishing this made me lol
Hahaha that's funny. But it's kinda true, worms is kinda cheating lol
