Hey Leif, since I;m a tradesman I will tell you in regards to your concerns on the range venting... The simplest solution is to add a high CFM exhaust fan above the range in the ceiling. Any smoke the built in one dosen't catch the add on will without the expense of a full drop down hood and all the ducting needed to install. use a digital timer like a one or two hour type and you're in business. this should be an easy project since it looks like there is attic space above! :) Are you making it to the Sportsman Show again this year? Warm regards...
18:20 pro tip… lay your rod across the hole and push into the snow when you leave it so its harder to pull in. That way you notice it going and you can get to it

Great ice fishing video! Fishing is a great all year sport that many have really forgotten what fishing is all about. I grew up digging for worms and then we would head to the local dam about once a week to catch a bucket full of perch. Today, rainbow trout is the fish to catch due to the area I am now residing. However, fishing is not only about catching fish and what to use but also about cleaning, cooking, and making the entire fishing experience unforgettable. Sometimes going home with even one fish makes the entire fishing trip worthwhile. If a person doesn't catch anything then enjoy the food you bring along and the weather. I also plan for other things such as making a small campfire and cooking hot dogs and baked beans with onions if the fishing is slow and the fish aren't biting. What really works well is using live grasshoppers but don't get caught using live bait by the game warden. The trout literally go insane over live grasshoppers kicking around on top surface of the water.
Soooo happy for you finding PARADISE for a fisherman in the mountains! Looks like you need to build a rocket stove for your patio (or just get barbque) until you can install a good hood vent! I look forward to your new vids of this beautifull property! ☺

Fishing is a great all year sport that many have really forgotten what fishing is all about. I grew up digging for worms and then we would head to the local dam about once a week to catch a bucket full of perch. Today, rainbow trout is the fish to catch due to the area I am now residing. However, fishing is not only about catching fish and what to use but also about cleaning, cooking, and making the entire fishing experience unforgettable. Sometimes going home with even one fish makes the entire fishing trip worthwhile.
If a person doesn't catch anything then enjoy the food you bring along and the weather. I also plan for other things such as making a small campfire and cooking hot dogs and baked beans with onions if the fishing is slow and the fish aren't biting.
What really works well is using live grasshoppers but don't get caught using live bait by the game warden. The trout literally go insane over live grasshoppers kicking around on top surface of the water.
The way you complete lose it when you catch a fish is so pure. I love it!
