For most people living overseas, the idea that they can generate the funds they need from Africa seems unrealistic. Many African countries do have opportunities to generate wealth despite some challenges. Nathan is a Cameroonian who has been able to sustain his lifestyle in the USA by making most of his income from his home country of Cameroon. He was able to buy a nice home and take care of his family. If this story inspires you or just opens your mind about a different way to do business, kindly hit that like button, share the video and subscribe. Thanks!
Ivan please can you do more videos like these🤔🤔. This was so informative!
Bro, we need to change our mindset. Africa has always been rich. Let's all tap into it before the continent is taken over by other foreigners. Africa is Powerful!
Too late...it's already been taken over...still, tap into...do you...don't waste time
This is what you call an Entrepreneur...wake up Black people...everybody is coming to America and doing the damn thang!!! The Africans...The Chinese have found a way...everybody is finding a way but us...we don't have to work for anybody...it's great to start off working for somebody to start building your business on the side until you're ready to do it full-time...this man has found a way...he crawled before he walked...now he's walking and running to the bank!!! He's selling these items in his Country where these items are very much needed...the key thing is to find something that's needed and sell it... you will succeed!!! Surround yourself with successful people, not people who don't want much
First of all, kudos to him for his hard work.
But this is not an investment. Let me break it down for y'all.
Buying goods in America and selling it to your people to consume and making profit from your people that hardly make a dollar a day 🤔.
Bro, to be honest with you, you're putting your people in more poverty by taking money from them and bringing the same money back to America to buy more goods from companies in America.
The only investment we can make is to invest in production instead of the consumption business.
We need to start investing in productivity by producing our things and trading it within Africa and internationally.
So his making money for himself and the companies in America
Thanks so much for watching! Your feedback is appreciated!
Yes you're right but then you don't know his plan. First to educate by selling them quality items and then we the demand gets high you start production. IMO
Absolutely Africa products made in Africa by Africans. Not from outside Africa.
I don't believe everything coming of the West is good quality. We have been brainwashed to think like that. We need to think about sustainability as well. Personally I would not do this sort of business. Most of the time we get low quality products with higher price just because it comes from the West.
You assume everyone in Cameroon makes less than a dollar a day. I got news for you, there is a burgeoning middle class in Africa, many of whom make more than you make in America. Offering these people goods they are willing to pay for is hardly exploitation. Go spend a few days in Africa and maybe get educated that Africa is not all poverty and hunger!
This is my story. I live in France and i live with my money coming from Africa from the real state thanks God. Africa is rich and black people living in Europe and America think money is where they live however you need to leave the comfort zone and take opportunities back home
Bamileke and proud! Never scared of working. Proud of you.
as a Cameroonian i can relate that BAMELIKE people are the most millionaires in Cameroon they own most of the businesses
Great video. Many Guyanese are very businesslike as well.🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾
As someone from Suriname I can attest. You live oversees, visit and only be in the city. Without exploring the country. That's why I started a channel to explore. And man, you mentioned ppl who rather send money home than visit, because when they go they know ppl expect something. Bro!!! Imma subscribe just because you know the struggles of the diaspora.
Thanks so much! I appreciate you!
I created a Facebook page about 2 years ago to show our Black African Americans what Africa looks like and the necessity for them to visit with the intention of doing business and building their second home in Africa. The Africans that joined got things mixed up and failed to follow instructions thinking it was an avenue to travel abroad. So, I'm still struggling to get my message across. We need to educate Black African Americans of things that will benefit them in the future. Thank you Ivain for this great video.
Shalom!
Thanks so much for watching ! I appreciate the comment!
Hey what is the name of your page?
African Americans they don't save money, they live pay check to paycheck . Their .money is for food ,cars and vacations that's all.. I live in the US I know what in talking about
What is your Facebook page?
@gracenbarnes5254 I'm AA, and I dont live paycheck to paycheck. So stop generalizing.
I love my Cameroonians
Inspiring video! Looking forward to more videos like this
This is a very good concept. His wife must be good to allow him use their house for storing the goods. I would go crazy if that was my house. I'm from Kenya and I've used the money i earn in the U.S to build nice apartments back home. I've paid cash to build them, so it wasn't too stressful. My older sister and a management company take care of them.
It’s only this busy when he is ready to ship. Telle rest of the time it’s not like that at all. Thanks for watching! It’s much appreciated!
They're in the us. they're on a mission. Who cares about using their home as a store.
Yes he has a supportive wife. That’s a very big part of the equation of his success. Most women won’t put up with it
@@dialac1 I don’t think it’s an issue with the user at home but they should take a room and turn it into the work area not have it a mess in the living room. They would actually increase their money if they were more organized.
Man I love this and respect what you are doing on the ground. You rock, thank you!
Thanks a lot for watching! It’s much appreciated!

Hi Ivain, I find your channel very interesting. I appreciate you and your friends sharing your real-life experiences and observations. The continent of Africa is really beautiful in many places. The America new is always showing the bad side of Africa, so thank you again, for sharing a different perspective.

Nice video 👍
Thanks so much for watching!
He probably has a wholesaler license that allows him to buy cheaper in bulk than in store.
Thank you for this video on the trials and tribulations that people face from the diaspora who live/work in Europe and America and other countries. Their fellow countrymen and families need to appreciate how hard many of the people from Africa work; some work three jobs. So the families who are constantly asking for money, hope you are watching and understand why those in diaspora aren't able to send them money or travel back to their countries all the time. Video was well done.
Thanks so much for watching! And I agree with everything you said. Much appreciated!
😅😅 yesss bro.
$100k-$250k for a full container with shipping and custom, that’s bullshit ! He wants to discourage people to get in the business. I do buy electronic merchandise in containers , no even close to his prices.
You have a point?
He said 100 to 150k that’s nothing. You are just broke
@@Anonyme67 Is it for everything or for a full container demmmm it!
You right,it's good to rent a container. It's not up to 10k.
Bro , im waiting for the video of the brothers store in Africa . The bro Nathan
Merci pour cette très intéressante vidéo. 🥰
Merci pour ton temps ! Cheers!
Great story and inspirational. It’s pity of the corruption.
Wow 😂 he went in the US in 1998 i was 2 years old lol
Good idea to have your own business instead of working for someone all your life. However I agree with a comment shipping and selling in Africa is about enriching yourself and the American companies. You're not helping people in Africa. If you have a school, or you open a factory in Africa, you invest in farming, or you buy land and farm it, then you help your people. Africa has lots of land. You can build a one or 2 room place to start tutoring until you have a school. Then you invest in people. But buying stuff to resell, you are enriching yourself, the American companies, and the shipping industry. You're not helping develop your people and your country. You can buy land and farm, build a tutoring program with the 300k you are spending in shipping.
Imagine this: A new way of doing business where African-American& African migrants can invest in companies across the continent on a Pan-African Exchange while earning passively from the company they have invests in.
Imagine moving back to Africa and being able to start any business and get access to an exchange that connects African registered companies to global community & accommodate them with selling on Pan-African E-commerce platform. You sell and offer services in just about anything imaginable- real estate, tourism, land, groceries etc
I want us to have a one on one Ivain to share a new project pertaining to the above. It goes deeper than that so I won't disclose everything.
I subscrided directly😂😂😂
Thanks so much! I appreciate that!
Im confused-
After all those expenses how does he turn a Profit? 🤔
Where he buy the items from before they ship to his house
Alibaba WE do the same sometimes WE buy our item in Istanbul
Good video, where does he buy his goods from? I’m very interested in shipping goods to my country not Cameroon please help thank you.
He provided his information on the video. Thanks so much for watching!
Contact him..
I am advising you to go and try in Gambie. That country is still empty and they need aclot of things there.
Can I meet him for mentoring? I'm from Nigeria and would like to do something like this.
I Will let him answer that question. I’m sure you guys can arrange something. Reach out to him and tell him Ivain sent you. Thanks for watching!
Don't scam him 😂
I meant to say
Al most everything in the USA is made in China Vietnam India etc
Ask ur friends that live abroad
I buy all my things from china, the strange thing is that goods coming from china to America has high quality than they once they shipped in Africa especially in Cameroon. So importing from china to America is just the secret and best for wholesalers, even all the big stores from kohl’s to Macys etc.
Yes but the quality is better…
You can buy in bulk in wholesales.
AWESOME. But doesn't most American brands made in China as well ?
They are. However, the quality is not the same.
African business men go to China and order manufactures to manufacture substandard products for pennies and sell back home for 10000% profit margin.
The products are substandard compared to the one to the US and European markets.
Yes but better quality
Good evening brother am in Gabon
Is a nice business here in Gabon I'm interested
Thanks a lot for watching!
What currency are they using to purchase his items
The local currency which is the FCFA (CFA Franck)
Google it.
@@IvainTures Oh ok nice 👍
Thank you sir, can you please connect me with this brother.
He provided his information on the video. Thanks so much for watching!
My 2 cents. This guy needs a warehouse to store the goods. I know he wants to save money. As a businessman in America the rental space is tax deductible. Plus his goods will be more organized. His storage of goods at home is a death trap in case of fire or any disaster.
Thanks for watching! I’m sure he will
Appreciate the feedback!
There us nothing unusual about his story. Lots of people do this including me
Thanks for watching ! It’s appreciated!
Jealousy is something. he is willing to share is knowledge
Please i do the same from Germany to Senegal .. please kindly put me through to him i will appreciate that ..

What is good investment at African ?
Land
@@nyambanealex forget is ok ??
Differs from country to country. If you are a foreigner, make sure that the country you plan to invest has stable government , less corruption, less bureaucracy and tax incentives for foreign investors.
Property , exporting cash crops, construction , supermarkets , mechanized farming for local market are some of the opportunities.
Why not rent a small warehouse in order to have a quality work environment and a better productivity?
Let him be around hid family
@@Me-vq7sy you missed the whole point.
Have you tried renting a warehouse in MD? The prices are outrageous
@@ogwuegbuogwuegbu8806 yes. If you can not pay a small office warehouse than your activity or not making money.
That’s wasting money
Why not take that money back to camaroon?
It’s reinvested in the business back and forth.

American Chinese export 😅
What we are nevervtold is that Nairobi has the largest slum on the continent!
Does that take away from th excellent infrastructure they have. Yes they can do better but they have made significant progress. Their telephone and internet access is among the best at good prices in the continent. We have to take the good out of each country instead of focusing on the negative. The US has more than 3 million homeless people, 50,000 suicides a year, more than 100,000 deaths by drug overdose a year, so many homicides should we go on but people still acknowledge the US as one of the best countries to live in
@@muchit3629 No one can deny that, but I think we need to acknowledge the glaring disparities in facilities which exist in such countries. To my mind, it is obscene to build glitzy shopping malls for the few while so many are without the basic amenities which enable them to live a decent life.
@@barbudo12 I agree about improving standards of living for everyone. What i objected to is you seemed to suggest that Ivan cannot highlight the good things he saw without saying something about the slums. I am not Kenyan but have transited through Nairobi but i have seen plenty videos of Kibera. All good , have a good day.
There are slums all over Africa but they are determined to be successful.
Thank you @@muchit3629
Such businesses are under threat because the Chinese would buy or control your ports
If hes making millions in African and Africa is such a wonderful place why would he chose to abandon his hometown to go spend his wealth in the U.S.... ridiculous.
His kids are raised in the US. And America provides Amazing financial opportunities that can then get invested in Africa. It’s a win win. I think you would do the same thing. Also, the living conditions in the US is more appropriate for his kids at the moment. Thanks for watching!
Global trade .
As of 2023 US Debt to Japan($1.1 trillion),China($859billion) .
Both Japan and China hold at least 25% of US Debt . 25% of commercial Real estate purchased in US in 2020 by Chinese .
You have to be here physically to do the business he is in it. Otherwise how would he make money. Please think first before questioning.
Bameleke, money without rest, enjoy, is waist of time, energy.
When do you enjoy yourself?
One life to live.
Sickness comes, you go others enjoy what you've labored for.
That's no life to envy.
Good luck! Not for all.
What do you leave for your children money only hahaha you don't know what you're saying
Enjoy ourself is leaving legacy and wealth to our kids. That our enjoyment.
What do u know about his life
Business is fun, what does enjoyment mean?
😢😢You talk alot. Can you just interview the guest?Doing that all by himself. Can't he employ workers? How do you enjoy your money, life is too short. That's why l like white because they spend their money big time, vacations left and right. Europe,Asia,Dubai etc.
