    Just wanted to let you guys know that Game Theory is by far in my top 3 of NBA podcasts, and I listen to a lot of them.

      They usually have solid takes... As a Pacers fan though, hardly a mention of Mathurin when nearly all the talk locally for the past year has been regarding his potential. Yet nationally, he seems to be a forgotten man after his injury. That plus, very few ever seem to reference how young the core group is for the Pacers. But again... these guys are usually pretty fair to small markets and it is much appreciated.

    Curious to hear the teased take that Utah will be the worst team in the league. Sure they want to but between the home court advantage (Altitude mostly + a crowd that will show up regardless of losses) and Lauri being a better top option compared to the other tanking contenders i find it hard to see. Somewhere in the bottom 4-7 seems more likely.

    While the Hornets have not said anything about the 5th starter, the Charlotte media is generally considering Josh Green the 5th starter.
    I would also say they do have creation without LaMelo. Thats why they traded for Mann and Micic. Its the best Charlotte has been at backup PG in quite some time, maybe since Lin.

      Yeah, totally buy that as a possibility. Think that's entirely a real thing.,
      Given that neither Mann nor Micic have proven that they can actually play well on a good team, I'm pretty skeptical still. Certainly Mann's not a complete player yet, still will get better. So very possible he emerges into it. And I actually liked a good amount of what I say from Micic late for charlotte.

    Love the show, guys. Really appreciate all the content, but I have to respectfully disagree about perhaps your hottest take of the offseason. "Waive the White Flagg" is fine, but the answer is clearly "Capture the Flagg"

    Right on point that TDS is ready to play day 1. Really think he’ll be Franz’s backup hopefully he is

      dawg what?
      first off thats not understanding the Magic well, that is knowing the draft well, and this pod is a very heavy draft pod, given thats sams thing.
      also he isnt on point about anything, just because you agree with it. There are players that are apparently ready to contribute immediately which play the whole year in the g-league. Contrasting that, there are playing who arent viewed to play a tonne early if at all, that end up getting early minutes and role grows the whole year.
      He was a late pick, in one of the genuinely worst drafts in memory. Does that mean he will be bad? of course not, but nba history suggests that he is at least going to have to adjust at worst in 3-4 years not an nba player.
      I hope he is though, and despite the doom and gloom I think he could be pretty solid, and given magic willingness to play very young teams hopefully he gets a chance to show that!

      @@schuylerkrizay6192there’s reason to be higher on TDS than a typical late first round rookie. He looks like he could be this years’ Jaime Jacques. Older, fundamentally sound and brings a skillset the team needs, 3pt shooting

      Yeah, don't think we did that remotely. For instance: Brooklyn! Way fewer wins projected! We went under 19.5 when they won 31 last year.

      @MagicFanMarlo 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@GameTheoryPodcastwSamVecenie that’s not a long shot or tough projection by any means, they traded there star player in Bridges. I generally like your analysis but this Celtics craze like they’ve done anything other than what they were supposed to do is wild. They’ve been projected as the best team in the league talent wise for almost 3-5 years arguably. Have 1 championship to show for it. They simply are not the juggernaut everyone predicts them to be. A healthy east will absolutely give them problems.

    The Boston Celtics are not this top tier “best team by a long shot” everyone sees them as. You’re absolutely wrong, they cannot lose a key starter and beat up on the league like they did last year. Every other team in the east they went through was injured, from Cleveland to Dallas with Luka clearly not even close to a 100%. They won’t even make it back to the finals this year you can book it. They will cite injuries and not having a full healthy year.
