    Very clear thanks. I'm about to start drawing family trees in a heirarchical flowchart format so I'm researching. The idea of using software I already have appeals because I'd be more likely to embrace aspects of what I would learn in some later project. I found your presentation very easy to follow. I might start trying immediately!

    Hey, thanks for that great video and your helpful content in general! I‘ve got a question concerning Pages: do you (or anybody here) know any way (if different application for that matter) to „reduce“ the text under a heading just like in MS Word for Windows so you can click on that heading and the text folds up? Ist sadly doesn‘t work on the Word App for Mac. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

    • @maxigrimey4985
      @maxigrimey4985 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peter Breis sadly I‘ve already updated to MacOS Catalania and so the old versions of Pages are no longer supported :/ Thanks anyway!

    Too fast for me. Can't figure out how to replicate a saved style onto my Page. I just make a new one. However, this video does show the potential. I go to other videos from here, like how to put the picture inside a circle (Format. Image, Mask with Shape). This guy's good.

    • @macmost
      @macmost  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you just add a line, it appears in the middle. Then you connect either end.

    Is there a reason to use Keynote over Pages?

    • @macmost
      @macmost  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For creating org charts? Keynote gives you a nice canvas to work with, but Pages has all of the document creation tools. Depends on your situation, If you want a slideshow or single image I would use Keynote. If you are creating a document (PDF or print) I would use Pages.

    Hi I am having a tech issue 🙈 my images refuse to show in the shape. Can anyone help me?

    • @macmost
      @macmost  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What are you trying? Try to create a new document, add a circle shape, and then drag and drop an image file into the circle. If that doesn't work, try a completely different image.

    • @deeapple1096
      @deeapple1096 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i feel the same. i guess it's all what you're used to. powerpoint gives you options, very little building required. with keynote or pages, someone can't come in and easily edit your document. As and admin, that's frustrating.
