it's not possible to make 11.5sec on 1100mair and 1,15 with stock td-04 turbo. either You don't tell us everything, or something is wrong :D What fuel is it? Gas or Ethanol?

    • @saaber95

Never said that it is a stock turbo ..It is a hybrid TD04 and the boost pressure is 1,15 bar and 1100mair. The fuel is Shell 100 RON pump gas.

1100mair not possible for that low midrange acceleration which equals more or less 540-560nm since you do 100-110km/h in ~0.64seconds unfortunately. Absolute lowest airmass for that torque on E85 at fully optimal maximum brake torque ignition timing is 1300-1320mg/c which is an increase of over 25% engine efficiency from stock which is hard to exceed(I have tried). On 99-100ron usually around 1380-1400mg/c midrange for that optimal state of torque and ignition timing.
It is an awesome time, but combustion efficiency for that on fully 4000-6500rpm 1100mg/c aint possible no matter how we turn it. 1.15bar for 1100mg/c says the opposite of efficient, considering usually achieve that myself at 0.7-0.8bar so some things dont add up here 😅 I dont like to tell you that, but I feel that I must.

@@saaber95 I dont think that's necessary, you must have a leak or something so the maf doesnt read it properly. Because airmass on very efficient engines are way over 100+mg/c per 0.1bar boost which is why this doesnt make sense 🤔 Now you state you have higher boost pressure than actually engine flow as airmass is lower than boost pressure in terms of 0.1bar per 100mg/c telling us you have restrictions rather than flow.
Ive taken the engine development approach to this fine tuning every little detail taking things as far as possible on lowest amount of airmass that I can and things doesnt add up here 😅

On my TD04HL 16G hybrid I had leak like that I didnt notice and was reading lower airmass yet making massive power. The intake pipe on the turbo was slightly loose. In reality I was pushing another 150-250mg/c when sealed up properly again dependent on rpm

@@saaber95 I now took a closer look at the pics you sent me before of the engine bay, the answer to why is quite easily explained.
I can now see that you have strange combo of MAF piping sizes. Smaller diameter behind the MAF lowers the velocity across this type of MAF which means it will read a lot lower than what it actually is. It reads sort of okey on very low load, but not on higher flows. Because these MAFs builds upon the venturi effect to keep stable efficient velocity past the glow wires.
Also if you run without the o-ring seal where the cobra pipe connects to the compressor housing it adds to the problem due to not 100% perfect seal without it. Common problem on larger than 21T compressor wheels due inducer size is larger than the seal, all aluminium V-band type boost and intake pipe flanges have O-rings for a reason. I dont know what type of TD04HL hybrid you run which is why I mention this.
All in all this is not valid data to go by and state as some achievement as there is a big MAF measurement error.
But the acceleration time is good for the actual airmass I suspect that it runs which is a great achievement tho!
