Back then gallinari was low key one of the face of that franchise in that post melo kanneth faried era
      He said
He Joker doesn't have any room for improvement on offense
Which was wrong but it gives the idea of what beast was about to be unleashed into the league
      He finished describing joker saying
He can only improve on defense
Which he did and can still get better but he's pretty decent now on defense

Ive noticed american players and announcers/personalities all seemed to dislike him until his game was so good they were forced to be around him at events, interviews, etc. He definitely has a great yet shy personality.

Imagine how many guys out there like Jokic that were not seen over the years. Someone who doesn't look and move like a typical basketball player, but delivers.

You got close, but didn't nail it. The real "hidden" reason is the deeply systemic racism and bias against white basketball players, both European and American. NBA Scouts, media, and "expert" TV analysts still discredit Jokic and Luka regardless of actual on-court performance. The amount of people who voted SGA above Luka for MVP was absurd, and you even had people like Kendrick Perkins and Ramona Shelbourne vote Jalen Brunson ahead of BOTH Jokic and Luka. Let that sink in for a second. Black European players (e.g. Wemby, Giannis) skate on the same criticism that ESPN and other big media outlets levy on the white players. Big Perk single handedly gave Embiid the MVP award last year by crying "racism" which is pretty ironic given his voting record. It's a disgrace, but after a few more years it will be undeniably obvious that white European players are the new face of the NBA. Sorry SGA, sorry Ant, the media will cry for you, but it's just a fact.

Bill Walsh went to Notre Dame to scout a wide receiver. He ended up impressed by the footwork of a skinny senior quarterback who was throwing the rock to the receiver. Some random dude named Joe Montana.

I really do think it’s because nba scouting is lazy Gilbert arenas said this, he said you can’t learn shit about a player going against a trainer in pre draft workouts😂 and he’s completely right imo teams should’ve ran scrimmages to see how talented he actually is because he’s not a 1v1 ball player he’s a 5v5 player and there’s a lot of other guys in the league like that

The patience with injuries paid off last year, which was great!
    But obviously did not last.
At this point, if the players around Jokic cannot remain as consistent as him, the Nuggets organization appears willing to squander his career.
    Get it together, now, ffs.

@@saulspanco854 I just thought bring race into it was a strange thing to say, I am sure Luke kornet works really hard but he isn't winning a damn MVP trophy because he isn't that type of player, Nikola jokic being good at basketball makes some people feel uncomfortable and Insecure, to me that is sad it's just basketball.
