Wow! This flight goes over our house quite regularly. We live in southern Iowa (flyover country) and I track flights on Flightaware and this is a regular.
I had no idea 747's were still about, something about 4 engines just seems that much safer, Traveling places in 1st class definately is on my to do list, another great video.
About the 2 wheels vs 4 wheels. I still personally much prefer 4 wheels. Easier in general, although I do agree that on some surfaces, 4 wheels can be a challenge, but since (with 2 wheels) you'd tip the luggage forward versus rolling it, you can do the same with a 4 wheeled bag, but you just have the option of the other two wheels for flat surfaces (and I'll say if you have a lot of walking to do on flat surface, not having to pull your luggage, but rather just pushing it with 4 wheels on the ground, is much easier and less tiresome). I would say that for most Asian cultures, veggies (so salad), rice and meats are most of he cuisuine you will find, aside from sweets and other dessert type items, so it's not that surprising that they serve a bunch of salad on a long haul flight from Asia. I mean a lot of Asian meals (not single dishes) generally include some type of vegetable in most cases (not all).

Can you share more tips to deal with jetlag? Of course adjusting to the time zone of the destination as soon as you board the plane helps a lot, but maybe you have a few more tricks?
actually, if you can, try to adjust your body clock to the destination time zone before you even go to the airport, like days or possibly a week, ahead. This is the best way (usually) to minimize jet lag and so you can enjoy your tip. Unfortunately, coming home is harder because you can't do the reverse very easily unless you are gone for a longer period of time (say a few weeks) and can "prep" in much the same way before returning home. But for most people, this is not really possible -- but even doing this two or three days ahead is better than nothing. But I think that the body takes at least a few days to adjust to a severely different sleep schedule.
His purpose for flying isn’t to get to his destination. His purpose for flying is the actual flight. Unlike legitimate business travelers, he has no real incentive to adjust his body to the new time zone.

I watch these amazing videos of First Class air travel and think back to 1983 when I treated myself and flew First Class on Lufthansa from Nairobi to Frankfurt. I was so looking forward to it. In Nairobi, CheckI in was like a cattle market. Walking onto the plane I turned left and found my seat. Yes, it was a wide seat with a flip out foot-rest when you reclined the seat. I was offered a drink and a little bowl of nuts. I had been perusing the menu which looked delicious. It was a late evening flight and I hadn’t eaten purposely so as to enjoy the in flight cuisine. I was starving. Shortly after take off, the captain said Goodnight over the intercom …. and turned off the lights. The flight had come from The Seychelles to Nairobi and onward to Frankfurt. Dinner was served on the first leg of the flight! So, all I had was a pot of yoghurt and scrambled eggs for breakfast before landing. This was my first and only experience in First Class. Do you think it’s too late to pass my concerns on to Lufthansa? 😀

Storytime. !976, got my orders for a communications station in Japan. Be in Chicago O'Hare to catch a flight. No Idea what to expect, but to my amazement, it was a 747 which was the ultimate. Didnt know it was a direct flight to Narita Airport in Japan. Also didnt know the entire flight was leased, rented, Chartered by the military for the flight. Couldn't believe that there were only 50 of us that boarded. We had a full flight crew, fully stocked food and drink, and the party ensued for 14 hours I believe it was.
15 hour flights in economy work if you are 5’5 or shorter and have Bose noise cancelling headphones. I’ve flown from YYZ to Haneda twice and had no issues.
I just can’t fall asleep on a plane and I can’t stand turbulence. Every time I fly I tell myself I would never fly again😅 I fly mostly between BOS and HKG with Cathay Pacific, also a 15 hour flight. There is always turbulence above Alaska.
In May 1970, I worked at JFK airport, NYC, for a company that filled the 'galleys' of aircraft with food & drink! Then, one of the first 747's came in & my crew was sent to load it! I couldn't believe the enormity of this aircraft, with its two floor design & spiral staircase, but am also amazed that they are still flying, 53 years later! Can't they come up with faster, more modern designs, that don't take nearly a day to traverse continents?
I've never heard of the luggage brand Sterling Pacific. I prefer my Rimowa (which is also made with aluminum) complete with the smoothest 4 wheels. I get compliments all the time, but maybe it's because I have a complete matching set of three pieces
4:32 I don't know which is more prestigious on the 747: flying in the nose of the main deck in First Class, or being booked into Business Class on the upper deck.
Another tip is that Korean Air provides on-board snacks such as ramen and cookies for Business and First class passengers! Usually for business class passengers, cup noodle in a bowl is served but for first class, the cabin crew actually boils the ramen
Fantastic to see a Boeing 748 in passenger service in my opinion a much nicer aircraft than the Airbus A380 but two-engined air aircraft are the future such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 due to range and economy Ps I love the Korean PJs, very classy indeed
WIll, i should be jealous but you're so pleasant and humble with your presentation that I truly enjoy traveling 'with' you. And Super M doing your safety video...it doesnt get much better than that.
Worth it for the rare dying 747, but as a international traveller it amazing how the gulf carriers/singapore etc truly changed the game & raised the bar for standards in the industry. Then again this demand will always exist for domestic travellers in Korea just as does in the UK for direct flights to far flung places on British Airways despite often being sub par on value/rpice. Where you sat next the pilot lol (clothes in wardrobe)? Great vid tho...the food options were interesting & kudos for trying the local stuff, much better content.

In May 1970, I worked at JFK airport, NYC, for a company that filled the 'galleys' of aircraft with food & drink!
Then, one of the first 747's came in & my crew was sent to load it! I couldn't believe the enormity of this aircraft,
with its two floor design & spiral staircase, but am also amazed that they are still flying, 53 years later! Can't
they come up with faster, more modern designs, that don't take nearly a day to traverse continents?
Great drone flying, let's see Josh and Noel do that!!
I've never heard of the luggage brand Sterling Pacific. I prefer my Rimowa (which is also made with aluminum) complete with the smoothest 4 wheels. I get compliments all the time, but maybe it's because I have a complete matching set of three pieces
WHY THIS CHANNEL HAVENT REACHED 1M SUBS?! LETSGAW AND GET THIS MAN TO THE MOON!
Отличное авиа путешествие! Экзотическая еда, комфорт, чистота, сервис. Молодцы, корейцы! Вам спасибо за видео, Уилл!
10:43 erm..are you sharing your wardrobe with the captain? 😂
4:32 I don't know which is more prestigious on the 747: flying in the nose of the main deck in First Class, or being booked into Business Class on the upper deck.
That ticketing room at ICN seems inspired by CDG 2E
you uploading beautiful stories...❤
Great review as usual! You sure love your caviar! The entire experience seemed lovely, glad you enjoyed it. Pretty pricey though.
Another tip is that Korean Air provides on-board snacks such as ramen and cookies for Business and First class passengers! Usually for business class passengers, cup noodle in a bowl is served but for first class, the cabin crew actually boils the ramen
Will huge fan of this channel, you present extremely well, its fantastic to see what experiences can be had and the price to determine if its value.
Can’t you checkin online when travelling first class?
OMG!!TREK TRENDY with the classy carryon!lovin the look of your carry on .I’m so tempted to buy !!!almost 2grand!!
You dropped this, mate. 👑
Fantastic to see a Boeing 748 in passenger service in my opinion a much nicer aircraft than the Airbus A380 but two-engined air aircraft are the future such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 due to range and economy
Ps I love the Korean PJs, very classy indeed
WIll, i should be jealous but you're so pleasant and humble with your presentation that I truly enjoy traveling 'with' you. And Super M doing your safety video...it doesnt get much better than that.
No that is SuperM not BTS
Um....it gets way better
Ahh a solo travel video, very refreshing
You're one of those people who look like their feet smell bad... But idk... Great video by the way
I’ve been waiting for this so excited
Always enjoy watching your videos and the nice food you have you have to eat 💕
Never a bad day when you get to fly on a Jumbo, iconic.
Bit late to the party today! Sorry Will! Been watching F1!
Have you done a video about the Disney Cruises?
Worth it for the rare dying 747, but as a international traveller it amazing how the gulf carriers/singapore etc truly changed the game & raised the bar for standards in the industry. Then again this demand will always exist for domestic travellers in Korea just as does in the UK for direct flights to far flung places on British Airways despite often being sub par on value/rpice. Where you sat next the pilot lol (clothes in wardrobe)? Great vid tho...the food options were interesting & kudos for trying the local stuff, much better content.
Are they new Tim’s every-time?! They are always so clean.
Another great video
I travel through you as I’m scared of flying
Thanks will
Keep them coming
Been binge watching shows there awesome!!! Keep them coming .
Your videos give me so much inspiration. Thank you!!
Noticed this luggage on another video, had to do a lot of research to find it. Now I can get a discount☺️
I got a video from you recommended and now i subscribed love your videos
