As someone who works at the international side of the airport here in syd, I had a feeling you were coming but I didn’t know when and was excited to meet you given the chance, come back to syd soon!
Sleeping in a makeshift bed, fully horizontal with a decent telly is everybody's dream for a long haul flight experience. I don't require caviar or Krug, just a bed and a nice bathroom. I'm still reeling from the video of you showering at 40,000 feet AND having your own bed and big arse TV of your own. HEAVEN.
I don’t know what it is about these videos but they’re so relaxing and extremely enjoyable to watch, Over the past year or so you’ve turned me into a train and aeroplane fan. Awesome videos 👍🏻
I hate traveling but by enjoying traveling first class vicariously through your video, it makes for an excellent diversion from the madness of my "real life". Thank you for such a great video!
So I found you’re channel about a week and a half ago, and I’ve already watched every single train video and plane video. And let me tell you I am obsessed with these kind of videos. Keep it up man!
I never thought I would find a TH-cam channel that makes flying on an airplane so interesting and fun to watch! These videos are great, Will. Keep it up!
Fun Fact: One of the writers for the 1988 Academy Award winning film Rain Man was actually upgraded to first class when the staff realized who he was on a Qantas airplane because one of the lines from the film when Raymond and his brother are at an airport Raymond says Qantas never crashed.
Thanks for the video. You're one of the few "Tubers" who have reviewed Qantas, and it's nice that you have given it a good review. I've been a frequent flyer since 1994 and a shareholder since 2001. I've always found Qantas to be a great airline, and have enjoyed a number of upgrades from economy to premium economy or business. One huge positive is on longer flights, attendants are always on hand to offer water or fresh fruit every 90 minutes or so. On numerous other carriers, once the main meal is served, the attendants disappear down the back of the plane for almost the entire flight - not to reappear until the latter snack is served. I have also enjoyed the meal options on Qantas flights. A lot of competitors have really gone downhill in that area. Unfortunately, the wider media in Australia have made a concerted effort to drag the airline's name through the mud. I think the service, as you have shown, speaks for itself.
BLINKERS OFF!... ronaldsimmons 9517, glad your happy, ...suffice to say no smoke without fire...the poisonous Irish dwarf has done diddly squat for the airlines reputation here or abroad and the litigation brief is lengthy allegedly and could run into millions in loss for the brand, as can be seen from reports from Herald latest updates...interesting that the PD has left two months earlier from his post or was he pushed?... What kind of nauseating mindset stamps their political biased and racist preference over a countries major airline?..and who allowed it to happen?...one guess!
No one in the media has whined about the on-board service, you're confusing that with the behavior of the company during/post-COVID. The 'drag down' had more to do with: the way they treated their staff (lost all their cases to the highest court after sacking ground handlers), ripping off customers with flight credits that were impossible to actually use (and sometimes consequently 'expired'), fake flights they were selling with no intention to operate etc. etc. Their ex-CEO had to leave. The 'drag down' by the media you refer to was simple reporting about the most complained about company in Australian history, and their share price tanked as a result. As a shareholder, I would not have been happy.
I am a proud Aussie & so very pleased that Qantas didn't let you down. Also 10/10 for loving vegemite which is a staple in my diet & I am ever so happy that they now have a gluten free option from Kraft so that I don't have to miss out. I still think it was much nicer in the 1950s before they started dropping the salt content & now it has a short shelf life, however mine never goes out of date as I like it too much!! p.s. I also love marmite & when I visited the UK in 1987 it was a staple whilst there & one I bought home with me. Though my biggest love was clotted cream!! I miss that so much...
I think you’ll find Vegemite as of recently doesn’t have as much of a shelf life since it sold to NZ’s BEGA in 2017. They changed something that’s for sure. I find if I’m staying somewhere they don’t eat as much Vegemite (therefore as quickly) as my household the Vegemite goes hard in the jar. I miss the 80’s 😂
@@Kek-fn1jh I miss the vegemite of the 1950s before they decided to fiddle with the salt content!! We used to love fresh bread & lashings of butter, followed by lashings of vegemite!! So delicious!! Qantas is a solid option, but if you're looking for a once in a lifetime experience I'd suggest Singapore or Emirates First for that added "wow" factor. You really cannot top showering on Emirates or propping up the inflight bar. Thanks again for watching :)
I tried Brisbane-Singapore-Frankfurt in Singapore Bus class was the best. Then I tried Brisbane-Auckland busn class Emirates - it was ok I think I will stick to Singapore Airlines either Busn class or First Class.

100 points awarded for the correct application of vegemite. Too often, tourists to Australia just pile it on too thick and wonder why they hate it. Toast, Butter, relatively thin scrap of the Vegemite... Perfect.

A very comfortable way to travel, for sure, but if I was going to spend 10k on something like this I think some Middle Eastern carriers offer more luxury for your money. For example: greater suite privacy, larger IFE screen, wider menus, dine on demand, larger bathrooms, possibly a shower, etc. I’d happily review the options if any airlines would like to get in touch 😉🤣

Thank you for your videos! They really create dreams that I hope will some day come true. Just flew from Stockholm to Helsinki yesterday. That would make a very short video: "The plane went up... The plane landed". On a clear day, it is actually a really beautiful flight over the sea.

On my last A380 flight (Qatar airlines, Gatwick to hone (Perth) i was lucky enough to get all 4 seats at the very last row in Ecomomy. It was glorious. A whole "bed" to myself. Loads of space. Plane was about 2/3rds empty 🙂👍. Closest ill ever get to the higher classes.
Wow very good choice I love the Shard Tower London in London very much. It reminds me of childhood memories. I love traveling in Qantas and riding the A380...have a nice trip
Not commented before on your videos (which I love) but the quality of the videography & narration is better than anything a BBC team with a ludicrous budget could put together & is the reason I delight in paying for TH-cam premium!
I would do the salad of roasted duck etc. That would be followed by the snapper incocounut garam masala. Then the cheese .. with walnuts, black grapes and poppyseed sesame lavosh.

Wow very good choice I love the Shard Tower London in London very much. It reminds me of childhood memories. I love traveling in Qantas and riding the A380...have a nice trip
Oh my goodness I love your style of review videos! So informative, entertaining and relaxing. My fav reviewer
Not commented before on your videos (which I love) but the quality of the videography & narration is better than anything a BBC team with a ludicrous budget could put together & is the reason I delight in paying for TH-cam premium!
Thanks you so much for the kind words 🙏🏼
