For a fun blues artist, I recommend giving Johnny Lang and his song Lie To Me a try. He's a local boy here and recorded it when he was 16 with vocals that no 16 year old should have lol ( not to mention some awesome guitar playing)
A young guitarist along the lines of KWS and JL who's starting to make his mark today is 17 year old Toby Lee. Definitely worth checking out, he's pretty amazing. th-cam.com/video/xvH1asLERag/w-d-xo.html

Always love it when people discover KWS. The singer is Noah Hunt, Kenny is the blonde guitar player. This is definitely the most main stream of his songs. If you want something a bit more of signature sound, which I have always thought of as bluesy rock, check out Slow Ride. His version of Deja Voodoo is great and a personal fav Heat of the Sun.

Just a few song suggestions -- Somehow Somewhee Someway, Kings Highway, True Lies, Everything is Broken...
Saw him in Melbourne couple of months after the debut album dropped… Small venue, but intimate and great sound… 1st place I saw foo fighters too, before they became a stadium band 👍
He’s from my neck of the woods! Knew his Dad (Shotgun Ken Shepherd) as he was a deejay for our local rock radio station. Met Kenny when he was about 10 yrs old.
SRV had a profound influence on Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Here is a brief snippet of an interview Kenny gave on the subject; When the interviewer said, "Stevie Ray Vaughan, you got to meet him young, isn't that right?", Kenny replied (transcribed by UG): "Yeah, the first time I met him I was seven years old, I was just kind of getting really interested in guitar and it was a life-changing experience for me. "Watching him play and getting to meet him really inspired me. I had a little toy acoustic guitar so I was kind of playing around with it, but I wanted to get myself a real guitar.
