@@kevinmcneilly5313 Have you seen or heard the song "Nothing But The Night"? I think it's the best video from the KWS Band & the song grows on you the more you play it.
Not gonna lie, I'm 25 and most people my age like rap and the like but they don't get it. This is the shit and I'm so glad my dad turned me on to it. Best song ever!
I’m from New York toro but now live in the south and man you don’t realize how good country music is when you get out of a dump like New York. This is great stuff! ❤👍
These lyrics are DAMN SPOT ON!!! When I'm down and out and back in Saigon, this song always brings me home. To a much better welcome home than I got so many years ago, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Kenny Wayne Shepherd was seven years old when his father took him backstage at a festival in Louisiana to meet Stevie Ray Vaughan. Vaughan sat Shepherd on an amp, giving him a spectacular view of the show. From that moment, the Shreveport, Louisiana, native, began to define himself through Vaughan’s music and influences...
Noah is one hell of a vocalist. Man! And KWS... Shit, what can be said? Kenny is without a single doubt, by far, one of the absolute best extremely talented guitarists of the past generations and generations. Guitarists see the silky smooth technique he uses, effortlessly. Always superb tone, always flawless. Reminds me of SRV. Not the same level, but SRV is the god of guitarists. Kenny... Bad ass all the way.
Love blue on black so I listened t9o more of KwS band. Definitely reminds me somehow of my favorite guitar God SRV. . . . Just can't get enough of this band. Good tunes. All round good music.
One of the best tunes of the decade!! If they don't win a Grammy for that song, then, the world is frigged up!! I'm not sure how old that song is, but , whatever.... CLASSIC!!
Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band are very talented. I heard this on the radio several weeks ago, and I had never heard "Blue on Black" nor any of his songs, so I searched for the song. Thumbs up!!!!
I was roughly 10 years old when this song came out. Little did I know roughly 12 years later it would be 1 of the first songs I learned and memorized for karaoke
He never got the recognition he deserved, I saw him on several occasions he told me bad management led to him losing thousands his parents were not business people.
This song as well as Kenny kick ass. What awesome music. Thank you Kenny for opening a new musical door for me, the blues. Isn't the lead vocalist Noah Hunt. His name keeps coming up on Kenny's albums. That boy has one hell of a voice. I think Kenny is one of the top guitarists out there. I can't get enough of him. Wow, he isn't playing the worn stratocastor....
Omg one of the best nights of my life seeing Kenny Wayne Shepherd... didn’t stop dancing way after 2 am and he was still jamming nonstop when we left in Lexington, Kentucky... at A1A downtown... what a hell of a guitarist and musician!!!! Energizing! I’ll never forget that night!!! Hope you come back to Lexington Kentucky!!!!
I know a black dude that loves this song....it's his favorite song. What's funny is that this guy is only 25 and he came from and urban hip hop background. It's refreshing to know that is favorite song is not a rap song.
If I was in Wayne place I would not run the octovider into one signal. I would have spit the signal 30 % octo and the rest what ever. Thank you for sharing c];-)
This is what you call a timeless & classic song!!! I remember this being a massive hit song right around the time that I graduated from high school & it’s still a kickass song which is why I called this song a timeless song!!! This is when bands were true to themselves & not as commercialized as music is today. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of great songs from more recent times BUT THIS is when bands wrote their own music & people actually enjoyed a concert instead of using their smartphones to record almost the entire concert!!! What’s the point of even going to a concert if you’re not really watching & enjoying it!??! Am I the only one thinking this or...????!!!!!!!😑
It's just one of those tunes you can listen to a million times and never get tired of it. At least for me.
