I just spoke to Armani’s customer service. They told me Ocean di Gioia is NOT being discontinued. It is also available in all three sizes right now. They sell out sometimes on Armani beauty because they have a lot of sales. I just wanted to let you know!!

Not sure if this is relevant, but I believe it's the Air di Gioia that's discontinued, though I don't know exactly when it was discontinued. I wanted to get that fragrance but couldn't find it and ended up getting Ocean instead. I love it and Acqua so I wanted to add Air to the set.
I recently discovered that I can get expensive perfumes from Harrods in the UK (of course this one isn’t that expensive, but other Armanis are!) Even with the shipping being $30 or something, they’re often STILL cheaper than US retail, even after the high shipping. Example: Rouge. Malachite in smaller bottles, which can be hard to find in the US! Thought I would share. 👍💜 (The Chanel Exclusifs are a good example. Not the regular lineup.) Someone explained why, in very specific economic terms, but I can’t recite it. Something about difficulty with conversion rates.
I would love to still hear about the unavailable ones, because they still pop up, and it helps to be able to describe it when I’m out fragrance shopping
It's so interesting what puts us off of a once beloved fragrance. Ocean di Gioia was my big love until I had a surgery last autumn and I was silly enough to spray it on my jumper before I went to the hospital. Though the surgery went fine, after I woke up, the scent that just hit me lying in my bed was Ocean di Gioia (my jumper was in the cupboard but I still could smell it). Since then I've been simply unable to spray that fragrance on me as it brings back that memory instantly when I felt weak and fragile and still a bit dumbed by anesthesia. Sorry if this story is a bit off but I wanted to share it with you and others here.

Please continue talking about all the fragrances. Collectors can still find a way to source and those that can’t may still love to learn about a fragrance that has inspired. It’s all educational content. Also, scored Place Vendome’s last bottle of the Guerlain you mentioned in the larger bottle, but re-sale sites have a lot.
I would like for you to continue with these kind of videos occasionally. Its been about a year since I started my fragrance journey with you. That started because the only fragrance I knew about, and liked, was Marc Jacobs Woman, which was discontinued. At the point I decided it was time to learn more about fragrances in general and what a year it has been. I've turned in to quite the Byredo and Parfums de Marly fan this past year. But I want to continue to learn more. What is old to you may not be old to us newbies!

You know, I buy bottles I true love…but then I get tired of them about 10ml in. Now, I have to go through the trouble of trying to sell them. I think honorable mentions are great, with a warning about possibly hard to find/discontinued (or even if you just said MIGHT be discontinued.) Since scent is so subjective and I trust your reviews, I would like to price it, or add an alert for old stock when it becomes available, which happens frequently. Then, I at least have a choice, or I might even be able to get an open box-swap somewhere. Thank you for your great content! ❤❤❤
I don't mind when people mention discontinued fragrances because I like knowing in case I run into it. That said, I love knowing the alternatives to discontinued fragrances. For example, Miss Dior Cherie is hard to find, but there are so many good dupes that are worth mentioning.
@@superna Fragrenza has sold one (I don't know current availability), which some big fans of Miss Dior Cherie say is very close. I believe I saw that Dossier also has one available now. I have the Fragrenza version, but I've never smelled Cherie. I like it though.
They did Alien dirty. What L'Oreal did there is a sacrilege. They took a piece of art and destroyed it in front of our eyes. You can't even smell it no more. And I couldn't even get me a bottle of the non-reformulated version.😢 Does anybody know where to find the old version?
I just picked up my second bottle of Di Gioia Ocean at Sephora sale. I absolutely love, love, love this fresh and clean fragrance. I would consider it a safe blind buy😉
I bought this blind! Ok I'm kind of picky and in a room full of fragrances I can not like or hate probably about 80% of them so I definitely should not have bought this blind. But I did and I did *not* hate it. I like it, but don't love it. But it's super useful for me and I'm getting a lot of use out of it. I'm sure I'll love it after a while.

I just smelled Coco mademoiselle EDP the other night and I was shocked at how different the scent was from what i remember it to be 🤔 I still have CM EDT that i purchased several years ago and love it. Wondering how that one changed these days 🤷🏼♀️

It was a challenge to save the money to buy it, so I would not be buying another perfume with the same scent profile. It would be amazing if you include it in your videos where OSM is relevant. Fendi Theorema is a masterpiece. I'll spritz myself with my remaining bottle occasionally (have to hoard what remains), and it breaks my heart every time I do so. I don't want to say goodbye lol.
I read somewhere the other day that Kate Walsh’s Boyfriend has been discontinued. I’ve never smelled it! I like this video Yana but I enjoy every single video you do!😊❤️🌷❤️
It is. And there are two formulations! The original has a bunch of men's names (Kate Walsh's exes) printed on the bottle. The reformulation is just a clear bottle with the name "Boyfriend" printed on it. Best to seek out the original if you're really interested. I just have a small travel spray (per the seller it's the original, supposedly) and it is a sexy fragrance. I would get a bottle if I lived in a cooler climate, but in hot and humid FL there is just rarely a good time to wear it. I will still cherish what I have though. I recommend it's worth trying 😊
Oh I 💯 agree with Yana about Coco Mademoiselle. I was so in love with it back in my perfume baby days. But for some reason, over the past yr, I think my nose has changed. While I still thinks it’s an absolutely beautiful scent when I smell it on others, for some reason it smells just a tad too sharp to me on my skin these days. Maybe I just played it out back then, I don’t know 🤷🏽♀️ -just not the same for me these days.
I just bought really cheap petit rob moreau Fraiche, never thought I will find one for a steal. The box look like it was buried but a will clean up and treasure it:)))

I want to cry when I find perfume that I love and it gets reformulated or discontinued😢😢😢I was just yesterday frantic looking for Burberry For Her EDT in the old bottle and it is almost nonexistent. I really hate it. I don't like rose in my perfumes, so I can't copy your recomedations usually. I think it is a good idea to not talk about discontinued or old formulations of perfume. I like the Ocean di Gioa but it unfortunately had a rose in the notes, so I didn't buy it.

As for the Alien part of this video, the L'ORÉAL batch will have Azzaro Mugler Beauté Luxury Products LLC below their bottles or behind the boxes. As long as you see Luxury Products LLC in other fragrances, it means it's from L'ORÉAL. In addition, L'ORÉAL owns alot of brands & recently they acquired Aesop.
Hey Yana, I’m not sure at which point L’Oréal owned Mugler but as far as I know the bottles that say manufactured by/for CFG(Clarins Fragrance Group) have the original formulation (or at least the closest to the original) whether it says Thierry Mugler or MUGLER on the box. The most recent releases however say Azzaro and these are the ones that have been significantly reformulated
Yes that's right, the CFG ones smells almost identical to to the original :) when I did my comparison video, it turned out that I don't have the latest (l'oreal) formulation, but the CFG one which is still great!

I too was nauseated by the smell of Oud Satin Mood,made a mistake by spraying it on my wrist,could get the scent off my jacket for a week...blah!
