It should become illegal to do so. The first batches are great to create the hype and then they screw people over. A friend of mine is in the perfume industry and a lot of sneaky things happen there, like testers; they are of a lot better quality than the perfume you're actually being. The percentage of perfume is higher in the testers.
I agree with all of these, except La vie est belle , I love the original, the Eclat , the soleil and the intensement. However, I didn’t get on the la vie est belle bandwagon until this year. I do love them, would I repurchase all the ones I have? Probably not but I will repurchase at least the original and the intensement, I still think it’s relevant. I may change my mind one day, if I find something better with a similar scent profile, for now though, it’s still a love for me ♥️🥰 Also, I agree with another comment below who said the newer bottles are missing something, I agree, I don’t see praline listed in the notes anymore… I wish they would let buyers know these things , so we know exactly what we’re getting
They reformulated last year and denied it as well! I prefer the original formulation but the newer one is still very nice. I think it will always be a favourite for me. The Intense version with the hazelnut is also sooo good. They had a team of amazing perfumers including master perfumer Dominique Ropion work on them and you can tell. Almost anything he is involved with I love.
It smells really good, but I agree with her it's overdone. I smell it everywhere I go. Personally I prefer to wear something more unique, but that's not important for everyone.
Me, with a husband named Mike who wears 1 Million: “👀” 😂 Honestly though, I love how it smells… on him. It’s not super sweet on his skin, it’s actually really woodsy. He’s also a flannel-wearing guy who hasn’t a single douchey bone in his whole body, so that probably makes a difference lol. I can definitely see how people wouldn’t like it though and everyone’s nose is different 😊. 100% agree about Juicy though. I gave my my three year old daughter a sample of that Bubbly one and she loves it, which should say something.
I am in complete agreement with you on this list Yana! A salesman at the fragrance counter talked me into buying 1 million for my hubby last Christmas! We both hated it! Also, my son has a friend who leaves a very strong and unpleasant scent trail every time he’s here. I asked him what cologne he was wearing and he said Sauvage!😂
I am agree about flower bomb dew. It's a pretty smell, unfortunately it doesn't last. The new miss Dior is not interesting enough. The chanel Gabriel is lovely fragrance. It's my easy going in the spring.
I never owned any previous Miss Dior formulations, so I understand people may be disappointed by the 2021 release, but this fragrance makes me happy and it gives me a lovely scent bubble for at least 8 hours. I do agree that it’s ridiculously expensive, but hey. Very happy with my 30ml. Just wanted to give Miss Dior 2021 a little love here since everyone hates her so much. She’s not that bad. Give her a chance. Lol.
Same!! Never tried the previous versions, not a huge fan of rose and patchouli combo. After using up a tester of the new one I had to get a small bottle straight away. Perfect for fall. I'm enjoying a cozy sweet scent bubble around me! Very comforting.
Miss Dior is a beautiful scent. I don’t mind the reformulation. It keeps things interesting and not boring. I wish Dior will make Roses n Roses into an Eau de parfum and not only eau de toilette.
Always love to know your opinions! I will only disagree on Sparkling Bouquet. Gave it to a friend for her wedding, she loved the scent. We could feel the trail and an arm's length scent bubble many hours after she applied it, so I don't get how longevity can be bad, at least in my experience. I understand that the scent itself might not be stunning or unique, but I still love it! The original gives me a headache and some of my friends found it offensive even, but I have to admit it's a very classy and elegant scent, while Sparkling Bouquet is a more soft, juvenile, easy to wear/like fragrance, with a little bit of the original DNA.
OMG, Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet has been the greatest disappointment I've had in recent years! I smelled it from a sample and absolutely fell in love with it, but, when I bought the bottle, arghhhhh... no lasting power whatsoever!! Another huge disappointment was the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, same thing, watered down, gone within minutes... BTW, as far as I know the scents, I totally agree with your list!
Have you tried the Sparkling Bouquet on clothes? Or can you recommend a fragrance that is similar? I just smelled it from a tester in store but also fell in love

Agreed with the New Miss Dior formulation. The longevity is soo bad 😩 Also getting tired of keeping up with re-formulations. I have two bottles of the 1st original formulation of miss Dior and it’s sooo good. Holding on to it as much as I can! The first edition and newest edition are like night and day!!
I love your tone in this video and all these kind I of videos. It's like informative, but also entertaining because of the "don't come for me" attitude. It's funny how now people get offended so easily, that you feel like you have to put a disclaimer on everything, it's crazy! I love "The Fragrance Police" :D I wonder how they would smell. :)) I have been thinking a lot about if I would like to try Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet, because based on all the descriptions I have heard I think I would like the scent, but short longevity is a big no-no for me, so I am not sure. Maybe if I can find a mini somewhere, but I don't think they make it. Also, even if not in this video, I have noticed that there really is "more cat" in your videos, so thank you for that! I love it!
Hey😊! I have to say I soooo totally agree with you about the 'Viva la Juicy" flankers. I feel like they've been done repeatedly BUT to my surprise there is one that I like because it's different from the rest. It's called "Neon" and it's pretty good-tbh the only one I like🤷🏾♀️ lol
You are so right about LA Vie est Belle. True disclosure though, I've worn it at home alone all this winter stuck inside my house... don't tell anyone!
Men should watch this channel. I tried one spray of One Million two years ago. It screamed douche bag. The Aventus clones have surpassed Aventus years ago and the dupes are really tiring and forget Savauge. I’ve never owned a bottle. Just discovered your channel today. I stopped watching fragrance videos a few years ago but yours is done so well. I’ve watched several of yours just today and never felt like I was wasting my time. You’ll never have to succumb to any temptation to show skin or act sexy or any of that nonsense that has filled this market. This channel will grow and it will outlive all the others.
I also hate One Million, for me it smells like a harsh dust, nothing sophisticated. Same with Lady Million, it's like a cheap knockoff perfume from some supermarket. As for Coco Mademoiselle Privee I don't see the point of spending lots of money for something that has poor longevity. If you want to have a Privee just spray yourself with Mademoiselle in the morning, then get a shower in the evening and you'll have Privee haha. You look great in this t-shirt!
The original mon Guerlain always gives me Miss Dior edp vibes so I think the new Guerlain bouquet fragrance is probably to compete with Miss Dior blooming bouquet. Great video! You are sooo gorgeous!
I agree with almost everything exceeeept 1 million 🙈 i actually love it on my partner and it gives me such good memories and smells on him completely different than on anyone else 😍 yeah i know its overused and overrated but i cant help it 🙊 also one million woman is my guilty pleasure catnip amongst the niche and other designer scents i have 🤣
Love your videos!! Just wanted to say that I have Flowerbomb Dew and it last something around 10 hours on me, it’s fantastic on my skin. I got a sample and I couldn’t stop wearing so bought full bottle. It never ceases to amaze me how different perfumes perform on each person. Maybe it has to do with the chemistry of the perfume with the skin. Lot’s of love and congrats on being a new mum ❤️❤️❤️
Wanna hear something funny? I have had a bottle of the original LVEB for a few yrs now. I liked it at first, but left it in my closet for the longest. I got C19, and my sense of smell has changed tremendously. I actually kinda like it on me now 🤣. Thanks for your videos, Yana! You are so put together, I really love your opinions. Keep up the great work 😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved this. Subscribed! I just got LVEB L'eclat this month and I'm sticking with it but I don't think I'll be repurchasing it as there's something beneath the layers that just pushes my button
I am on board with your men's fragrances opinions completely! I trust you with the rest as I have not had experience with any of them. You've never steered me wrong yet!
I own the full bottle of Gabrielle Essence and it's lovely but nothing to rush out and get. Nice enough for Spring. Never smelled the original Gabrielle but glad I got the Essence version instead.
As someone who has several LVEB flankers, including the original formulation OG La Vie est Belle (the newer bottles are missing something important), don't get Eclat EDT. That one is a huge disappointment! Edit: Aha! I guessed Sauvage! We are in complete agreement there Edit 2: I have to sell my husband's Aventus, he doesn't even wear it, he almost always goes for Green Irish Tweed! And I don't blame him. Also totally agree on 1 Million, my brother sometimes gets it and when he wears it I'm like *sniff* wtheck is that? It's not a good scent!
@@wildernessisland2573 do you have any idea, around which year the reformulation took place with La Vie a Belle? So that I can look for an older bottle🙈🤗
I love Sauvage, my boyfriend (he is a classic guy) has the Edt and performs better than J'adore Edp. I don't know why I feel like at Dior men's perfumes are way better than women's, even the packaging.
Yeah, definitely don't must. 😄 Viva The Scented instead. But don't say never about the fragrance police! I've had a shoe thrown at me. Ps, I love my brother Mike! 💛
I am obsessed with my baccarat ! I think it depends on the demographics of who you’re around when you’re wearing this fragrance- If I go to a super high end place, I do smell it frequently, if I am just going about my business and doing regular Things I don’t smell anybody wearing it. For that price point, not everyone is walking around wearing baccarat
The only thing I can say about Sauvage at least, is a lot of men bought that perfume like crazy because of Johnny Depp's contract with Dior & just showing their support due to his pyshcotic ex wife's accusation of him. Just a fun info for ya 🤗 But I honestly agree with most of the things you mentioned!
Yana…you are sooo funny! Not only do you know fragrances you are super cute! Thanks for making me smile today! 😊 also, I agree with all you said and about Sauvage…. I am guilty! Smells great on my man and am even more in love with the new Elixir!
Mon Gueralain Sparkling Bouquet is still sold, it is so beautiful but the longevity is non-existent :( I really miss Florale! hope the new flanker is on the way
lol... love the honesty. Agree with every single pick! I tried but cant get myself to buy la vie est belle (idole as well)... just cant, smells too sweet and too generic. It's nice, but nothing special. Miss Dior I will NEVER purchase it again with this crappy new formulation. Glad i got a bottle of the old one. Once that is done, I'll be looking for something else that smells similar. Dont like any of the Mon Guerlains. Flowerbomb is ok, but if poor performance, not worth the price. Do ppl really buy juice coutoure for themselves? I always thought you only buy those to gift teenage girls or maybe someone you dont like that much? :-)
I agreed with you on Coco mademoiselle l’eau privée. I love the scent though bcs it’s more subtle and soft than the original one but the longevity is just sooo bad 😢 but the original one is the one for daylight meanwhile I need the night one so I guess im gonna bring it in my bag all the time hhh
I have to disagree with the viva la juicy part!! I was looking for a signature scent and i knew i liked the viva la juicy collection, but many of them have too much citrus-ness to them, and the gold one has too much vanilla/sweet/gourmand notes which i'm not a fan of. I then found the Pink couture one, and guess what?? it has ALL of my favourite notes: waterlily, frangipani, jasmine, even strawberry. So i personally love viva la juicy.
What is the men's scent that smells like bad breathe, there's no other way to describe it. It's a nasty undertone in men's cologne. I'm assuming it's the "cheaper" scents.
I despise 1 Million and every flanker except for Parfum. Paco Rabanne deserves some credit for stepping a little outside the box for that one. I adore the use of white florals in that one
You are one of the sweetest content creators I’ve ever watched on TH-cam❤️❤️❤️ I’m new to your channel and love your videos and binge watching them at the moment because I’m looking for some new fragrances!(angel and coco Mademoiselle since 22 years)☺️ After watching your videos I ran out and got some samples and found two which will hopefully make it to my top 10. Panhaligons changing Constance and flowerbomb midnight!!! So thank you beautiful…. ❤️❤️❤️
Flower bomb is the only. I mean the only fragrance I have found that works with my 60 year old body chemistry and I get soooo many compliments! I only need a little and it lasts all day!
Great video and all accurate points! I’d gladly add the ever so boring aquatic (you know , blue bottle barbershop sporty type of men fragrance) as a category altogether. And I need to make a point for the longevity of some fragrances - I actually prefer them this way, because I really like to change fragrances throughout the day and even throughout the evening sometime, so I’ve come to appreciate fragrances that simply disappear, rather than linger on forever or have their top and middle notes gone, then slowly start to choke you with some “molecule” that was meant to rub your novelty seeking string by the wallet, but holds you hostage to respray their product because tho thing else would cover up that chemical odor. Just expressing my perspective here … Also about Viva la juicy & flankers … I find the Rose flanker to be the only keeper (and I’m not even a rose person!). It’s soapy and juicy with only a bit of the JC DNA to satisfy your JC tooth, but it’s more contemporary and for someone who appreciates MG Bloom of Rose edt, it’s a more casual Sunday morning option. For the price it’s really something one’s nose can appreciate when feels in a no-fragrance mood atm, but any of the bland options that come to mind don’t sound appealing either. Just give it a try and move the original in the obsolete bucket…
I love the juicy gold couture. I haven’t tried the other flankers but I find that one sexy and sweet but not cloying. It’s a date night with hubby scent for me lol
That’s interesting that baccarat almost made it to the list, are there any other fragrances you used to love but as time went on you started to dislike?
Yes!! I actually filmed a video that same day of fragrances that went from "love to hate" (not exactly hate, but you know, I need to exaggerate for dramatic effect). It'll be up next week! 😊
I think she means baccarat is slowly losing its intrigue. There was a time it was special and coveted, but I’m sorry it’s dropped a few notches. Still beautiful and amazing but not on the same level of eliteness it once was… sorry 🤷🏽♀️
Pour home: Davidoff cool water, Givency pi Neo, Gucci - even close? Same "family" of scent as choises so just missed My take away is Ratchet is no longer even Ironic just tired. Fun fact: i like to put my hair toiletries in to minis so they take up less space above the counter & are grab&go easy for the gym (I live in hope) the labels came in English and French. I use Got2B to sleek my part and to slick my bob back. No label for Hair Gell but there was onr for shower gell... my Got2B mini jar is labeled Gel D' Douche 😎💋
Have you tried Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense? I like it more than I thought I would. Has to mellow out - obviously things dry down, but I can be turned off initially and end up liking it after it sits. People either love Daisy or they can’t stand it. Thoughts?
I agree with you on 1 million. Its a headache-inducing scent. Just absolute awful the first time i smell it. I throw away the sample vial straight away the first time i tried it.
My 2 cents 1. LVEB agreed... however the flankers (Soleil Cristal and Rose) 2. Viva La Juicy...I never liked them over the original Juicy Couture (my 1st perfumes which got me into fragrances). 3. Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Dew and Midnight is awesome! Dew is perfect for those who have allergies and working with kids. Lasts long on me Midnight is super light...lighter than Dew Men 1. Sauvage I haven't smell many men with it. Only because they dont wear fragrances. I enjoy it. 2. Aventus...still haven't smell on men. So still ok in my book (Baccarat Rouge never smelled)🙂 3.
I love savage elixir. I don't mind every second man on the street use it. Yes, there are many other perfumes but most of them are generic and boring. This one has a spine that's why you can recognize it.
I worked for Chanel, ugh...and Coco Mademoiselle (overly sugared fruit) is like Clinique Happy, it smells pretty much the same on 'almost everyone'..yeah, I said that...La Vie est Belle is another one I think isn't very complex...but that's my own damn opinion..lol..sugared musk/powder...blech..
But I love Juicy's original Juicy Couture it's more of a mature scent. Another favorite is Juciy's Couture Couture. Bought them again this year after not wear for 9 years. I wore them as a teen wasn't a fan cause they weren't has fruity but definitely appropriate the scents more as an adult.
I have a love-hate relationship with Coco Mad cause I hate how it develops on my skin (becomes patchouli bomb), but I love the opening. What can you suggest instead? The L’eau Privée seems like it would solve that issue I have 😂
It might solve the patchouli issue, but you'll need to spray a ton of it! I'll try to think of another similar fragrance to coco mad but without patchouli
High-end brands watering down their fragrances is such a rip-off and so infuriating! I'd rather pay an extra 50 usd and buy niche perfumes.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved this. Subscribed!
I just got LVEB L'eclat this month and I'm sticking with it but I don't think I'll be repurchasing it as there's something beneath the layers that just pushes my button
I looove Flowerbomb Dew. Lucky for me, on my skin, it’s beast mode and it lasts forever!
Your “don’t wear these fragrances” videos are so funny and entertaining. Keep them coming. ❤️
Black Opium was like in the corner afraid to be called out. But no, no not today😅😂
Got to say I agree with absolutely everything on this list. Even the great frags mentioned like BR have been cloned too many times by now...
Totally agree with you . Thanks for the video ❤
I am on board with your men's fragrances opinions completely! I trust you with the rest as I have not had experience with any of them. You've never steered me wrong yet!
😘
You are the best Yana!
Love your honesty.
We are in complete agreement there
Edit 2: I have to sell my husband's Aventus, he doesn't even wear it, he almost always goes for Green Irish Tweed! And I don't blame him.
Also totally agree on 1 Million, my brother sometimes gets it and when he wears it I'm like *sniff* wtheck is that? It's not a good scent!
Agreed! You're lucky to have an OG formulation 😊
@@TheScented yes I am! Luckily, even though I only have a 30ml bottle, it only takes one spray for a whole day so it'll last quite some time 😃
@@wildernessisland2573 do you have any idea, around which year the reformulation took place with La Vie a Belle? So that I can look for an older bottle🙈🤗
I love Sauvage, my boyfriend (he is a classic guy) has the Edt and performs better than J'adore Edp.
I don't know why I feel like at Dior men's perfumes are way better than women's, even the packaging.
Yeah, definitely don't must. 😄 Viva The Scented instead. But don't say never about the fragrance police! I've had a shoe thrown at me. Ps, I love my brother Mike! 💛
Don't declutter baccarat rouge 540 cause it's over, u can use it for layering, it's the best it upgrade 90 % of the perfumes
💯 I will never stop loving it. I will give it a break but that's it.
No lies told. I will say Coco Mademoiselle is TOTALLY overdone. I would honestly wear La vie est Belle first… sad
I am obsessed with my baccarat ! I think it depends on the demographics of who you’re around when you’re wearing this fragrance- If I go to a super high end place, I do smell it frequently, if I am just going about my business and doing regular Things I don’t smell anybody wearing it. For that price point, not everyone is walking around wearing baccarat
um not that hard to get decants to smell just like everyone else wearing it lol plus there are SO many dupes now that smell just like it.
@@isobel64 good for you! I’m referring to the people who can actually afford the whole authentic bottle 😘
Ahahaha, I love how worked up you got :D Keep it up, I really enjoy your honest, up front reveiws! Greetings from Prague!
I bought ganymede bc of u, and I love it (I saw your video too late but glad that I saw). It lasts 2 days+ on my skin 😍
That's amazing! I'm so glad you love it ☺️
The only thing I can say about Sauvage at least, is a lot of men bought that perfume like crazy because of Johnny Depp's contract with Dior & just showing their support due to his pyshcotic ex wife's accusation of him. Just a fun info for ya 🤗
But I honestly agree with most of the things you mentioned!
I am cracking up! I love JC couture couture 😂😂😂
You got a sub just for giving the men the real on "Sauvage"!!!💯🤣🤷♀️👊
😆👊
Yana…you are sooo funny! Not only do you know fragrances you are super cute! Thanks for making me smile today! 😊 also, I agree with all you said and about Sauvage…. I am guilty! Smells great on my man and am even more in love with the new Elixir!
Thank you! ❤️ 😊 I'm glad I made you smile!
Yes, the new Sauvage elixir is definitely pretty good, I must admit
So agree with the coco mademoiselle privee. Accidentally bought it thinking it was for night time lol
Oh Gabrielle is so lovely and chic, good sillage and lasting power, too. One of my favorites for the last few years:)
I agree with you. Essence is a little too much in your face for me.
@@strawberryfields81 Essence definitely has a totally different personality:)
I found this so funny I love your sense of humour 😂
I despise 1 Million and every flanker except for Parfum. Paco Rabanne deserves some credit for stepping a little outside the box for that one. I adore the use of white florals in that one
Juicy couture is the cheapest “designer” fragrance you buy when you want to smell upscale, but not quite…Don’t do it ladies, just don’t!! Lol
Yeah I learned that the hard way
You are one of the sweetest content creators I’ve ever watched on TH-cam❤️❤️❤️
I’m new to your channel and love your videos and binge watching them at the moment because I’m looking for some new fragrances!(angel and coco Mademoiselle since 22 years)☺️ After watching your videos I ran out and got some samples and found two which will hopefully make it to my top 10. Panhaligons changing Constance and flowerbomb midnight!!! So thank you beautiful…. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much ❤️
Welcome to the channel, your comment made my day! 😊
So glad you're enjoying those fragrances!
@@TheScented So Sweet! Have a lovely day…
I loved the Gabrielle Essence but it didn’t last on me and became a skin scent in less than half an hour. 😢
Yana, brilliant! You are naturally funny! :)
Yes I love the Chanel Gabrielle Essence!!
You’re Viva la juicy rant was great 😂 la bubbly
Just expressing my perspective here …
Also about Viva la juicy & flankers … I find the Rose flanker to be the only keeper (and I’m not even a rose person!).
That is hilarious you said that comment on Peggy Bundy! I say that every time I see leopard, zebra print & spandex!
Same "family" of scent as choises so just missed
My take away is Ratchet is no longer even Ironic just tired.
Mon Guerlain Sparkling bouquet has to be one of the best perfumes. You just don’t know what you’re talking about😭
Have you tried Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense? I like it more than I thought I would. Has to mellow out - obviously things dry down, but I can be turned off initially and end up liking it after it sits. People either love Daisy or they can’t stand it. Thoughts?
The Daisy intense is pretty good! It reminded less of the original Daisy and more of the Burberry Her collection with that strawberry note
I hate Sauvage Dior. It’s overhyped! My husband put it on and it smells like body sweat. I gave it away to a family member coz I hated it.
You’re so weird😂
I agree with you on 1 million. Its a headache-inducing scent. Just absolute awful the first time i smell it. I throw away the sample vial straight away the first time i tried it.
Painful longevity lol.omg too.funny but I an relate tom ford lost cherry is like that!!
My 2 cents
1. LVEB agreed... however the flankers (Soleil Cristal and Rose)
2. Viva La Juicy...I never liked them over the original Juicy Couture (my 1st perfumes which got me into fragrances).
3. Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Dew and Midnight is awesome! Dew is perfect for those who have allergies and working with kids. Lasts long on me Midnight is super light...lighter than Dew
Men
1. Sauvage I haven't smell many men with it. Only because they dont wear fragrances. I enjoy it.
2. Aventus...still haven't smell on men. So still ok in my book
(Baccarat Rouge never smelled)🙂
3.
I agree with everything in this video 100%!!
Your description of One Million was so funny.
😍😍❤️You look gorgeous
I’ve heard the Viva La Juicy line overall doesn’t last at all. 🙄
I don't like miss dior but I love La vie belle even bit cloying, viva la juicy rose I like it
I love savage elixir.
Add Lancôme Idole (redundant) & Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt (no longevity)
Sad about the Jo Malone because it smells heavenly.
When you talked about too many Mikes 🤣 My husband’s name is Mike 😂 And he didn’t like Sauvage when he tried it. We both love Aventus on him though!
Sad they reformulated Miss Dior. Disappointed with the new one, love the 2017 one.
Well I had to click on this when I saw 3 perfumes I LOVE on the thumbnail LOL
What is it with these commercialized new fragrances, typical, overpriced and watered down. 😩
P S ~ I’m on my third bottle of CM L’eau Privee. No, it isn’t potent, but I adore it. It lasts longer on fabric. I hope it never gets discontinued.
