94 didn't have a extended cab yet. And the company out of Texas was named "custom conversions" I believe. They did allot of conversions like these back then. Sadly they are no longer around. There was also another company called "Bayer" that built these but we're made out of metal over fiberglass

    • @weirdasspunk

Yeah in my area, a rusted out, holes in the floor, 400,000 mile, 2 wheel drive, automatic trans, steaming pile of CRAP truck will sell for $10k if it has a 12 valve under the hood. Jeep wranglers of any year or condition $15k at least. Squarebody chevys are all over the place and dirt cheap though, but they're ALL automatic small blocks.

  • @seangibson1221

I'd repaint it for sure, Flat black or grey. Build a roof rack for it. Lift it a little with some Alcoa wheels and some aggressive tires. Replace all the light bulbs with led. Oh and tear out all that aftermarket electronics junk and start fresh with just a simple radio and speakers. But that thing is sweet for sure. That's cool you got to go drive it and check it out atleast.

I had a 94 Cummins. It had a custom sleeper on it. It was a regular cab long bed. A company down in Arizona called McKinlly Custom Sleepers, cut the back of the cab out and the front of the bed, and mounted a 36" sleeper on the back of the cab it had that same bench seat in the back. I loved it I sleeper in more times than I can count.

V belt I have a question I hope you can answer. I have a 12 valve 215hp manual with 304,000. I think it's all stock being how the screw on the injection pump has not been tampered with. It does not smoke and runs good. I changed the tappet cover gasket because it leaked a lot of oil. Drove it to work I thought everything was fixed but when I got home 100 miles later I noticed oil all over under the truck and it's coming out the vent tube along with air. I seen were someone said it could be the rings but it starts right up and runs great, I would think if it had broken rings it would smoke. There's no oil cap blow by a little smoke comes out but that's it. Smoke comes out the vent tube also. I was wondering what you think it could be. When I changed the tappet cover gasket I seen the oil drains were full of oil but I didn't think any thing of it.do you think the tappet area oil drains could be stopped up and the tappet area is filling up with oil and draining out the vent hose? Any other ideas ? I appreciate any suggestions and advice. Thanks BTW I have a 68 charger r/t with a 440 4 speed.

@@torxxx1 I put a vacuum pump on it yesterday and I plugged the vacuum pump off right at the pump and it still blows a good amount of air out the vent tube and white smoke after warmed up. No smoke out the tail pipe while driving only one puff when first start. The oil fill cap when off has white smoke coming out but no pressure when cap is sat on it. I wouldn't be worried about this if it wasn't using so much oil because the truck runs great going down the road.

During the late 70's to early 80's there were dozens of companies that did van conversions, with custom interiors and some type of custom paint. It wasn't until the early 90's when the purchases of the conversion vans waned did the conversion truck become a thing.
I just want to know, did this one come with a circus tent? The only thing missing was the mirrored spinning ball hanging from the ceiling.
None of the conversion companies build a wiring harness, so all of the add-ons were strung together with a salad bowel of wires. Between wiring issues, the next most common cause for these vehicles getting parked was water leaks and overloaded suspensions..

They are notorious for front suspension issues. Especially death wobble and wondering. Transmissions are just short of garbage. Any kind of rust is a bad sign. Those trucks turn to sand if rust sets in.

This was something made by a custom shop, dodge never had a true 4 door truck till the 3rd gen trucks, albeit a nice looking truck but still not made by dodge , but I do think it'd look better with just the 4 regular doors and without the exstended cab doors in the very back
