This video very helpful. I recently found a 1973 mint set at my local coin store tucked far and way the owner didn't even know he had it. I was excited about this find.
I'm really hing out to you to see if you have ever seen or heard of this. I bought a 1952 Proof set recently and I saw that the coins were a thicker planchet and have a insane blue toning. These coins are or must be 1 in a million ,I would like to send u a pic of them you will be blown away.
Awesome I know where to get a whole bunch of those Sets and I just wrote it down Gianna take a Ride and get some . I know are a whole bunch of them are is people don't know what they Have.. Thank you so much you guys ..
Okay, this video is four years old and maybe that makes the difference. But, in January 2023 if your LCS sold you a 1973 Mint Set for Ten Buck, I'd just have to say I envy you for having such a GREAT coin shop.
Love the info man. Its affordable wealth...... if that makes sense. All the vids about buying cheaper graded coins that have value and these mint sets. Cheaper but have value. Affordable to buy and may have alot of value. Affordable wealth. Love it! Keep it up. Also i need a cherrypickers guide. ASAP.
I love Proof and Mint sets. Quality coins with high luster. Not to mention the key dates you can find. I have two 1981 type 2 clear “S” SBAs worth hundreds. I really like buying them cheap from the poor guys who don’t know what they have. Lol. No,my conscience wouldn’t allow that.
I was going to send you a message but not sure how to do it lol, just watched your video on the 1888/7 indian head cent and wanted some more info on it and what you think about mine. I have no clue on american coins
Awesome video, BR. By the way, a little off topic question, but do you think you will do any more videos on the 2 Feathers Buffalo nickels. I have a question about a largely unlisted variety that i wanted to ask you about.
Hi BRSH! You would not believe what I received back in change from a convenient store! A gorgeous 1973S Wash. Qtr. It does not appear to have a mark on it, but I would like to send you a pic of it for your insight on it. A local coin shop offered me $69. I know it must be worth much more than that. Ok with you, Sensei?
I have been doing that with The later mint sets breaking them out lots Of The later sets have more value that way if you get some nice coins The handling of those sets was atrocious but I got some really nice ones this way Thanks for these video affirming my decisions on this. Lol
Yes - the “ s “ San Francisco came only in a brown box . It is known and referred to as a “ brown Ike “ . It not only is 40% silver , but it is a proof ! The most desirable in the 1971 , 1972 , 1973 , and 1974 .
how do i send you a coin package? I didnt see anyway to email you, if you see any of my videos I have my email in description, please reply I want to send you a coin package and want you to do a video of it,,,,thanks
My go to trusted store has them for 10 bux also...... Whether they have been opened and picked thru I don't know, BUT if not then I could have a chance at going thru about 10 to 20 sets and hit the small lotto..... Wishful thinking ??? Maybe not....... Time will tell.... Plus Tard Mon Ami ~!~!~!
Wrong on the dollar being the only good coin. the 1973-D is a good one. i bought a set with 1973-D DDO-001 in it and have a bid on it for $40 on ebay at the moment but the variety is known to go for up to $150 in uncirculated condition. i put $40 as opening bid and it got bid an quickly but it's a 10-day sale only half way through. i did buy the sets because of the dollar population but uncirculated errors are easier to sell in cello and the JFK is a good one. good video, though. i like to hear about the dollars.
I ended up selling the JFK half for $61.00 but it got stolen by the postal service. I shipped it and the buyer opened his locked post office box to find a torn open package with no coins. it was a great DDO, too...I hope the postal inspector finds it but I doubt it.
Thanks alot 👌😍

So I have a couple of these. What do I do to send them in to figure out what grade they would be?
Looked at a dozen mint sets with Ikes. You're right about them being a bullseye. Only found one where the rim's weren't beat up.
I'll have to add the 73 to my list of things to pick for!!! Thank you!!!!!
Great info thanks.😎
Was looking for information on 1973 Canadian mint sets with large head quarter.
TKS Blue you've been a Lot of help , keep it coming.
I’ve got both of these. Thx.

Great video! Thank you!
I just got a 73 mint set that is deep cameo and gorgeous. Got it cheap.
Interesting information, have you seen the other mint set for 1773? Can you explain the mint set that came out in I think 1975?
The 1973 US Mint Sets were NEVER Sealed. The same is true of 74, 75, 76, 77 and 78.
Very Cool - I have a big stack of these sets of various years. But boy do I hate the grading racket (!)
Awesome I know where to get a whole bunch of those Sets and I just wrote it down Gianna take a Ride and get some . I know are a whole bunch of them are is people don't know what they Have.. Thank you so much you guys ..
Hey blue do a bunch more of these videos I'm learning a lot about what to buy
Last Year In 2020 I Picked Up 13 Of The 1973 Mint Sets For $7.00 Each! Great Price I Couldn’t Pass Up On.
Did you send them in for grading ? If so, what were the results? Thanks in advance

How would you submit this for grading to get the designation that it is from a mint set? Thanks for the great video.
Way to end the month. Another great video. Thanks for the knowledge.

Ok so this may be a dumb question...... but why were there S mintmark coins in the mint sets?
I believe S privy mark singnates a San Francisco mint
Yes - the “ s “ San Francisco came only in a brown box . It is known and referred to as a

No mint sets are meant for circulation, that's why they are put into plastic holders
The MINT melted down a lot ofsilver coins in 1982!
Sweet .!!

How can i show you your real pic.
Yup. Please keep cutting those 1973 sets up and cracking the Ike out.
I like how you discuss the unpopular coin date/topics
I have one 1972 sell..
