I ordered a mint set 1970 from a dealer and it showed up with two plastic packages. One from Denver and one from Philadelphia . Only one Kennedy and it was from Philadelphia . Was I supposed to get a San Francisco Kennedy as well ? Thanks for a response .
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mr Daniel. I'm so happy there are people like you in the world. I feel like I can trust you with any information you give and or with coin I purchased from ya. I hope you enjoy the day. God bless you and all you do. Thank you.
Again as always... very informative for people to learn things they did not know... Thanks Daniel... have a great coin show, make lots of money, don't spend too much....
Happy Birthday Buddy. In 1970 I was two years shy of graduating High School. After that 25 years in the Air Force. Times travels on my friend. Time is what you make of it my friend. In your case a rich rewarding career of numismatic instruction to the masses. Keep it up. Have a fantastic day. God Bless.
Daniel thanks for the never ending info you provide to us. You are a Gem of a man and I feel lucky to have found your videos with you special brand of humor, also your smile as you sign off. As always peace to you and those you love. Keep making us better collectors, you were born to educate.
I find it hard to get excited about doubled dies that take so much magnification to see a very slight 'shadow'. Now the 1955 DDO Lincoln, _that_ was a doubled die!
Hello my freind thanks so much for the information on the 1970 penny i didn't no the 1970 was worth some money thanks for sharing kind regards Gregory lee for MELBOURNE VICTORIA Australia.
Daniel what timing!! I just got a blue box 1970's Proof Set large date. They all have their mint marks but I do have some double dies😁 I'll look at them more latter today and I've got a bunch of quarters and so on to look through. I found a small sliver coin date reads 2030 ! Like...What the?! Somebody groofed. I found it while metal detecting. I find lots of British coins, I have like 16 big pennys... It's fun to hold little bits of history in your hands. Have fun at your coin show....stay safe....Happy 21 st Birthday...😉 Kidding aside thank you for teaching us about coins.
Happy Birthday my friend. Thank you for the video. I need to start looking at my proof and mint sets before I puttem away! Safe travels and fun times at the Ohio show in Dublin. I'm closer then you are but gotta work.
I was going through my grandpas old collection and actually found the 1867-1967 commemorative of confederation royal Canadian mint set! I know its Canadian but they are so cool lol
Thanks Daniel! If you find one and want to submit, should you send it to PCGS in its original proof case, and they will crack it for you when they slab it?
I know you are doing the video on 1970s coins . I was looking through some of my collection yesterday of coins that really don't mean much to me and found a double strike 1958 philly Jefferson nickel in A.U. - 55 to A.U. 58 codition . I have no idea what it might be worth cause i have mainly focused on Silver and Gold coins which i do know the values of . Hope everyone has an awesome day .
I have a graded pcgs 1970 proof no s dime and one still in original 1970 proof set which are hard too find :) not cracked out :) 1971 1972 are good years too for stuff
HI Daniel, how do you send in your coin to have them graded do you take them coins out of the sets or do you send in the whole proof set in to have then take them out? Thank you,
You can look through Daniels TH-cam video's , he has Some about sending in coins for grading. It's not cheap and takes about a month in most cases, but only if the coin has enough value to justify the expense.
So recently I opened a 1970 Mint set to retrieve the 1970 s Jeferson Nickel. The coin looked clean and un abused with Full Steps so I submitted it to PCGS as a #85084 Mint State Nickel. I assumed any coin form a MInt set would be graded as a MS coin. PCGS graded the coin as a PR and not a MS. Was I wrong to assume MS coins only come from a Mint Set. Where do 85084 come from? Any guidance appreciated .....
Uggh .. I have both of those ... I am gonna have to look close for the no mint mark on the blue boxes ... they are still sitting in a four pack from the mint, as mailed from 1970 to Gramps and Gran. Eesh.
I got a 1942 San Francisco week penny I think it's a double die I got a video on TH-cam Instagram and Facebook of it could you take a look at it please

Daniel, with the upcoming Morgan’s, are we supposed to open and inspect or leave them in the Mint packaging? I am confused. So many options.
Call and ask the grading companies. I can't advise you to open your packages or not.
Thank you,
You should call the grading company on those questions. I take mine out but I know how.
You can look through Daniels TH-cam video's , he has Some about sending in coins for grading. It's not cheap and takes about a month in most cases, but only if the coin has enough value to justify the expense.
Kool I have some pretty Kool coins also
Daniel, Just saw APMEX has a 1875 $2 dollar PMG XF 40 Portsmouth,Ohio The First National Bank. It's only $10,000.00

I can’t help. Call PCGS it might have been a label mistake.
Uggh .. I have both of those ... I am gonna have to look close for the no mint mark on the blue boxes ... they are still sitting in a four pack from the mint, as mailed from 1970 to Gramps and Gran. Eesh.
