Fun build! I think I would have swapped the WIS and CON stats -- 14 in Wisdom for the seamanship applications (navigation, direction sense, etc.). since Jack is shown to be a very competent sailor, but he's not particularly tough. Also WIS helps with Perception and Insight, which are keys to Jack since so much of his trickery is based on reading other character's motivations. Also, instead of the Tough feat, I think I'd have gone with Keen Mind, Mobile, Observant, or Tavern Brawler.
Oh god i got a great idea. Jack Sparrow and "Dread Pirate Roberts" and Faris and May (Guilty Gear) and Edward Kenway and whoever else you want to toss in there, all in the same party
Crazy in a campaign about 2 years ago I made Jack sparrow almost identical to this for a one shot a friend of mine was running. Great minds think alike love this channel
@@nicolebilyak9586 I'm so happy I pronounced it right, I actually pronounced it like four different ways when recording and chose the one I thought might be most correct LOL, and I'm so happy you like my builds
I kinda figured you'd go this way, but I think I'd have started with three levels of rogue. The hit die us the same so you don't lose anything there, but you gain one more skill point. And frankly, between Xanathar's and Tasha's INT saves are just as important as CHA. 😉
I really like this build but I feel like a one level hexblade dip would of made this build much better. I haven’t seen the jack sparrow movies in a while but I bet there is something in there in where u could have justified a hexblade dip. This would give medium armor prof, let u hit with chr, and give u hexblade’s curse. Such a good dip for any melle chr class
Armorer artificer fighter 2 dip who's a goliath you say? (Remember he has grayish skin not green like the imperfect super mutants and he's notably approaching the height of a behemoth)
I'm currently also playing a pirate in a dnd campaign but mine is a fighter. I can see why the bard class would fit Jack Sparrow but... at the very end they are magic spells... and last I checked jack can't cast spells so....?
I've not played Ratchet and Clank, but they'd be two different character sheets, right? Not part of the same set? Of course, since I think they're supposed to complement each other, those two videos would have to be back-to-back so you don't forget about one by the time you build the other. Thanks to a Green Scorpion video I know slightly more about Clank, so I know he was programmed to have a lot of information on things but was almost literally "born yesterday" so...not a lot of practical experience. This means that Clank specifically would likely have high Intelligence but low Wisdom.
@@dndbuilds oh okay I thought I saw you post this before but maybe it was brain saying no dude you built this before just not this way. BTW your build is way better lol
CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow
@@DarthKieduss did I actually manage to go through that entire video without saying his hard earned title of captain once? Damn...
How can you be a Captain without a ship?
@@dndbuildsThat disrespect is crazy
you know what you call a bard-rogue multiclass?
a Baroque
Legitimately made me chuckle
I was expecting pure swashbuckler, I am pleasantly surprised.
I was expecting that too
Generator Rex next

That’s got to be the best D&D build I’ve ever seen…
@@richard8396 I feel like comments like that are going to really make the algorithm go insanely in my direction
So it would seem...
@@dndbuilds I'm surprised you went for Swords Bard instead of Drunken Master Monk, Jack is shown to drink a lot of Rum.
2024 rules especially Weapon Mastery and Cunning Strikes really enhanced the build

You pronounced my name right! I am so happy! Also, you are one of the best to make Dungeons and Dragons builds.

Before watching the video; I immediately think its a multi-class of *Swashbuckler Rogue & Drunken Master Monk* 0:03
Drunken master would have actually been a great addition, don't know how I didn't think of that one
@@dndbuilds It's ok, most people seem to forget about it & Monk in general.
I love the creativity involved in this build, great video. Also going to recommend Raikou from F/GO again
Feels illegal to be this early but super excited to see this build!!
An appropriate feeling for a pirate build.
Oooo this could be fun!!! Quite enjoy your builds thank you!
Off topic.
I can not find a good Noctis build anywhere.
All of that and not even a single drop of rum!
Still waiting on a Cocytus build.
I made a Homebrew subclass that surrounds the idea of Piracy. It's called Piracy Magic Wizard.
Cool build! I would have added the Hex spell due to Jack's tendency to bring bad luck to everyone around him. 🤪🐈⬛
Today is the day that you will remember as the day that you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow

Wouldn't fit the build
Would HAVE*
Nice! Please make the Highlander ether Duncan or Connor McCloud. Or beastmaster from the movies
Shadow the Hedgehog build. I would like to see on besides Tulock's build
Beautiful!
Thank you!
please do soldier boy with nuke, would be fun

Klaus Von Reinherz from Blood Blockade Battlefront please for a possible future build
Wildhunt Shifter Fighter/Barbarian?
This is great overall, but honestly I'd start with Rogue first, then branch into Bard.
Yeah, you get 1 more skill doing that.
I would've started with Rogue then gone for Drunken Master Monk.
@@morrigankasa570 Yeah. I can see that working, too.
@@garrettlaturski6703 Then, just pick whichever is most fitting for his Character.👍
Dont minotaurs have a natural sense of direction? That would be a good stand in for his magic compass
Can you please do a build for Frank horrigan

How would you do Norrington? I feel like he had some unused potential.
Nice!
Video 1, of asking for Shadow from The Eminence in Shadow
Rakish Audacity you still need to be within 5 feet of them which means you cannot use a range weapon. Unless I am over thinking it.
Let's go 🎉

He can't cast spells, but you want to replicate certain abilities or emphasized parts of his character using spells
