Kinda surprised you DIDN'T go with 2024 Fighter. It's just technically better across the board early on. Especially with Tactical Mind kinda filling in that hole of Ichigo being fairly smart if nothing else. Really, the first four levels aren't any different from that outside of gaining that feature. Plus, you get an extra use of Second Wind. More on demand healing is nice. Now, if it's an issue of D&D Beyond not letting you choose Echo Knight with 2024 Fighter...yeah, that's sad. But it should all be compatible either way. Appreciate the touch up, though.
If you cast a spell without a spell slot it is at lowest spell level SO auto 12 THP - No Spell Slot so no Upcasting. If you have it as a castable spell, you can then use a Warlock Spell Slot to Upcast it,
I have a character I am working on. Turn one attack then as a free action sheath one of his weapons and cast Shadow Blade. Next turn uses bonus action to make Shadow Blade his Pact Blade and use all the Invocations with it. Wonder if I can use Shadow pact Blade with True Strike.
Wait I thought 5e 2024 was said to be compatible with 2014, only the newer features with same name replacing the older ones. Wouldn't that mean a 2024 fighter can still pick up the echo knight subclass? Having base fighter features from 2024 and subclass features from 2014.. Or does being a 2024 fighter locks you into only using the subclasses printed into the new book? Great build nonetheless :)
Solid build! I do think you could have gone with the new 2024 fighter, even with Echo knight, since I'm pretty sure they are backwards compatible in terms of subclasses.
They are backwards compatible, but on D&D Beyond they don't allow that one, I'm assuming there's some sort of copyright issue using something from critical role for 2024
Would love to see a Miranda Priestly build from Devil Wears Prada...I'm thinking a Scribes Wizard because of "The Book", but I also think she should have access to vicious mockery lol...maybe a tiefling cause devil 🤔
Could you make a how to build Percy Jackson, Nico de Angelo, and Jason grace in dnd next please 🥺🙏 (I just really wanna see him make Percy Jackson characters)
Since you seem very capable when it comes to making complicated anime builds can you make a chobei build from hells paradise it will be very simple I swear pweeeaaaassseee~🥺🥺🥺🥺
You don't get epic boons unless you make it to level 19 of a specific class. It is written into the 19 level feat ability. Its one of the benefits of being a single class character who reaches that level. As well as great weapon fighting doesn't work on any extra damage you throw on a hit. It never has. You are really bending the rules in a way that I think is a little disingenuous. And since you don't know how other dm's will rule these things at their tables, you should stick to raw where ever possible.
Both on D&D Beyond and in the books epic boons only require you to be level 19 in general. And every time I've built a multi-class character it gives me the option as long as I'm at least level 19 and have an abilities score improvement available
@@dndbuildsto be fair, this is because dnd beyonds website is built really bad, the person is correct, only 1 feat at 19 in one class. an example of something being possible in dnd beyond but NOT dnd, is taking the resillient feat, u can choose a stat to gain prof in for saving throws then choose a completly different stat to boost, even though the feat says different
@@dndbuilds Just because dndbeyond allows you to use it doesn't mean that you can based on the rules of the game. When a wizard gets spell mastery, on dndbeyond you can choose any spell in the game. Even though the ability specifically mentions that the spell must have a casting time of one action. dndbeyond is a great tool, but that doesn't mean it is always correct.
Bleach is one of my favourite anime ever! Your old version of Ichigo was the first video of yours I watched

I didn't see the old version, but this is awesome and scrolling through the vids I saw a few that look like fun to try and build. Nice job on the vid!
Do you think you could do Adam Smasher or David Martinez from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners?
Another great build can’t wait to see what you will do with spawn
Nice, you know, with 12/4/4, if you go, 12/3/3, your last two levels can each have an epic boon.
Is that how it works? That’s pretty cool!
Love the build!
literally just saw the most recent episode as this dropped lol glad to see my favorite mc and my favorite anime getting some love
Here’s a challenge.... how would you build Spyro the dragon?

2024 can use 2014 subclasses but 2014 cant use the 2024 versions.
in DnD Beyond the 2024 fighter dose not have access to echo knight by default you need to homebrew it
@@JasonCHall-mc2tq nope its still usable with the 2024 fighter without needing homebrew.
the new base classes can use the old subclasses

Since you did Thor and Loki already, could you possibly do Odin.
Base warlock is way cooler now, Pact of the Blade essentially has all the cool parts of Hexblade wrapped into it.
Please build Ulquiorra next
Wouldn't green flame blade fit more for getsuga tenshou?
Since you seem very capable when it comes to making complicated anime builds can you make a chobei build from hells paradise it will be very simple I swear pweeeaaaassseee~🥺🥺🥺🥺
How about Yugiro Hanma from Baki Hanma next?
I'm here once again asking for an Aizen from Bleach build lol
2024 fighter does have access to Echo Knight.
Day 1 of asking you to do upchuck from Ben 10
Ooh that's an interesting and difficult one.
The closest i can think of is artificer 2 for bag of holdings which can act as upchuck's mouth.
Need to see a dnd build for Luffy.
Wait so we don’t use tasha’s other worldly guise anymore?
w
So is this still a hexblade kinda warlock
Yayyyy
Please make a Kenji build from ow
Interesting…
~_~
2 minutes gang
Let's see a themed illrigger build
