    Good information. I hope it will be less complicated soon. Since 2014 we learned with DJI Ground Station, really a child could do Way Points. Thanks

    Thanks for the good video! there is one question - how did you install maps with a satellite view in the program? I have a street view in Mission Planner

    Nice and informative video, is there any way to choose mission in the glasses if you use the DJI system?

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe, if you try it then please let me know. I wonder if the buzzer (if one installed) would tell you as well.. Something to test... Happy flying

    Very informative video .
    I have one question.
    I use DJI goggles and I don't want to root them yet . So, I do not have the menu .
    If I want to choose a mission number from a multi mission , can I just use the right stick with no visual confirmation ?
    My beeper makes a sound when I load the mission from eprom , but nothing if I push the right stick to the left or to the right to choose mission number .
    Thanks in advance

    Is Matek going to drop the INAV target for Matek F722 flight controller? I want to build a long range fixed wing with it but some people are saying not to get it for the reason mentioned. Can you suggest a flight controller.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matek don't make the target - the INAV team do. I'd go with the currently available flight controllers on the Matek website as all of the discontinued ones seem to have been removed..

    Hi. What's the difference between saving it on FC vs eeprom?
    Also, is there a time limit to what's saved on FC? Cos after some time, the saved mission is no longer found on the FC.
    And if I saved mission 1 on Fc and mission 2 on eeprom, when i activate WP, which will it be using? (I am asking this because I don't have a cam connected yet. Still learning.
    Thanks.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Saving to FC saves it into the 'RAM' of the flight controller, that doesn't survive a reboot/power cycle. Things in EEPROM stay there until they are needed. You'll see when you start to play.. Best of luck!

    Hello, is it possible to save multiple missions to FC in iNav 7.1.x using only the transmitter? I mean without GUI.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can select the mission you want (from those stored in EEPROM) using the radio. See github.com/iNavFlight/inav/blob/master/docs/Controls.md

    There is an explanation of Multi Missions in the INAV Wiki under Navigation-modes. Could do with a better explanation in a dedicated Wiki for Configurator but unfortunately that Wiki is just a Home page and no more.
    One thing that isn't mentioned anywhere is that Mission Control now shows WP ground clearance (Grd Dist) in the WP info box. It uses this to automatically correct the WP altitude setting if the set altitude would lead to a ground collision or indicates low ground clearance if ground clearance is less than the default WP altitude (Grd Dist turns red). This stuff isn't perfect at the moment and could be improved. One issue is the WP info doesn't update when you change the Take Off Home settings or move the Home point around. You have to click each WP to get the elevation checking and ground clearance values to update correctly.
    You need to have the OSD MISSION INFO field enabled in order to use Multi Missions properly and also the on-the-fly Mission Planner can't be used without it. The field provides feedback on what's happening, e.g. it shows the selected mission number when you use the roll stick to select the mission you want and also info on load status and number of WPs in the mission if it is loaded.
    Also you no longer need to save/load to the FC before doing the same for eeprom. You can just save/load directly to eeprom instead.

    So for imav does the rcplane have to be configured to values on the parameters to return to home or as long as I’ve set the level right and making sure the servos correct them self to the right direction the plane will automatically know how to get back home with the gps signal

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For missions to work, everything else on the model needs to be setup perfectly. See my series on setup.
