My grandma used to fry her collards with pork salt and okra. I never learned how to make em. Hopefully yours will help me come close to making greens like her
Looks wonderful. Fried greens & cornbread. Omg!!!! I fry my collards, kale, & cabbage( I like a little crunch left to my greens😁). I usually use salt pork /fatback with fresh hot peppers❤️.
There is no stopping you, looks so delicious! This is the way one of my elder aunts cooks her greens all the time.

I use to call these shinny greens when I was a kid. For the longest I couldn't understand why my greens didn't taste like my mom's (RIP) My aunt said cause you boil them and don't fry them. If you ever taste fried collards you will never go back to boiling them🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿💯
