You would only be in trouble with the law if you melt them down for the metals. As pennies are worth more in metal than they are at face value, most countries have made in illegal to melt them down.
Magnificent work, but as a coin collector, if I saw a 1972 doubled die I or a 1969-s doubled die I would have to dig it out.
PS the 1969-s doubled die is valued at $15000 to $85000 depending on the condition. That's before you put it on the floor and covered it with epoxy. Thankyou, Jerry McCoig

i can tell you i did my bathroom floor, 35 sq.ft., and it took me 20 hours. lots of sorting and glueing if you want a pattern
wife loved it. 35sq ft is oughly 100$ in pennies too.
