Hey man, love the transformation. Just a quick question. Did you clear coat over the red acrylic on your tail lights? How was the paint holding up? I heard acrylic doesn't do well in sunlight.
I didn't clear coat mine, and it lasted well over a year (more or less) with minimal fading. But my car was parked in the garage most of the time so that was probably why. I would recommend clear coating it to make it more durable because, like you said, acrylic paint doesn't do well with exposure to sunlight and will eventually fade over time without proper application/care.
That thing looks so damn good at the end phases I love these things but is it slow? seems like a lot less torque. turbo would be the icing on the cake. Run it until it pops than k24 swap or k20 a2. lol I have a 07 fg2 with a greddy turbo kit, 1000cc injectors, Hondata tune etc. But definitely Not as much visual modifications on mine . I’m on stock wheels stock suspension. Lol sleeper to The max but it’s clean. I want an ep3 all motor for a reliable daily but the engine and slowness deters me
They are sluggish with the k20a3. Turbo/k24 swap would definitely make this thing alot more enjoyable. Besides that, the k20a3 can take the beatings and only takes 87 at the pump, so for a daily, cant complain
Thank You! If you have the USDM ep3, you'll either need to cut your front crash beam or remove it in order to fit the CTR bumper, as the CTR bumper sits closer to the body. I opted to cut mine instead(trimming both ends). Besides that, it fits right up.

Looks-wise the car went from stock up to cool then back down to crazy. I would change the wheels too but definitely not to white. The taillights and tailpipe are nice. Overall it's a great job, but those white rims smh. The last ones were better. I commented before seeing the whole thing. 😅

I removed the OEM seat cover and unstitched the middle portion out and re-sew the new material on. Then I put everything back together on the OEM sea in reverse order.

Thanks! If i recall correctly youll need new wires because the 04-05 have separte bulbs for low and high beams.

I dont recall what I did for the headlight. But for the taillight, you need to to wire in the pigtails because 04-05 is different from 02-03.

Thanks. Mine was the OEM Type R Side Skirts, so I used sticky clips on the sides and made a custom bracket on the rear towards the wheel well.

If the one you have doesnt have holes then its not the mugen lip, rather the replica one that states its a "mugen" lip replica
so did you restain the sued seats black and dye the middle red it says inserts where would you get those?
No. Those are red inserts that I sewed onto the seat. I got the fabric at my local arts and craft store.
