It’s actually insane the difference in your hair from the beginning of the video to the end. My hair is very similar to the beginning stage of this video and now I’m currently sitting with Olaplex 3 in my hair and afterward apply one of my favourite treatments Joico Intense Moisture treatment. So this video gives me hope!
I love that you’re applying logic and reason to your choice of products. I really learned a lot from your videos. Before your channel I thought that I should go protein free for low porosity hair but now I see how you assess the condition of your hair and apply products accordingly. Looking forward to more videos from you!
I'd love to see something similar to this video for refreshing between washes. Like assessing your hair and discussing what makes you decide which products to use, how much to use, or whether it's time to give up and have a wash day for various next-day problems you encounter.
I agree, would love if gym tactics could be addressed as well. I have very loose curls that frizz and disappear, I struggle to get beyond 4 days for washing. This video helped a lot!
Thank you so much for this informative vid. My daughter has curls and I’m from a complete curl free family. I have no idea what to do to make her curles justice. They are so wonderful, and I want her to be proud of her awsome hair. This made me more aware of what to consider!!
finally a before and after picture where the person is smiling on both! :D i mean on pictures like these they are usually gloomy on the first and happy on the second, of course the happy one is better. but now we can truly see the difference ^^
My hair suddenly stopped curling, nothing is working. Finger coiling, moisture, protein, brushes nothing. I just started to love my curls and now they're gone. It doesn't even curl when its wet anymore. I want to cry. I want to cut it off. What do I do..
What tool were you using? Was that a blow dryer with diffuser? I didn't see you finger curl or use a Denman brush. What technique did you use to obtain the curl? My daughter and I have just about the same hair type as you but she has thicker hair and mine is thin. I've tried many times in the past to get that kind of curl you have and always had a hard time. I am going to get a Keratin Treatment today. I have 2 jobs and just want to wash and wear, my daughter loves her curls but can't achieve the curl you have. Now I know she probably needs a protein and other hair stuff. Thank you! My boss just asked me why I don't leave my hair natural (curly, but I flat iron)? So I washed the night before and scrunched and let it air dry......well now I know why! It always looks like it's just a hot mess. I didnt really realize it takes more work to curl my hair than to straighten it! Thanks again!
I’ve been binge watching you and the way you speak and organize your videos make me think you’re a teacher 😂 your videos are very informative! Thanks! When I was a baby I had very curly hair and as I got older (I’m only 30) my hair thinned out and i styled it as if i had straight hair but you’ve inspired to start my curly hair journey! Wish me luck
Love your videos. This particular video helped me figure out that my hair needed protein. I’m new to the curly girl community and I have realized curly hair changes due to different elements. Can you do a video on how to determine if your hair has too much protein or moisture? Seeing a strand with too much protein or moisture would really help.
So if my hair isn't curling from the roots, it might need more protein? It spirals like crazy at the ends, but the top is mostly flat, even my face-framing pieces. I'd love to see a video about how your hair changes in between wash days!
Do you plop? diffuse? how do you apply products? what kinds of product do you use? how long is your hair? how long have you been following cg (if you are?) If you have a looser curl pattern these things can be the difference between frizzy straight hair and 3a curls :) all these things will impact how your hair curls :)
I would like to see what you do tomorrow. Do you comb it? How do you make it look good? I have no issues making it curl, but the next day I look like a lion because I feel I need to comb it or something.
Josefin Svedberg hairstylist here. I think your hair is fine. The reason ends don’t curl sometimes is because they are overworked and it’s the oldest hair! Trimming helps and a good product regimen. Lots of naturally curly or wavy ppl have flat hair on top. I have one client that’s straight all over and just curly at the nape! Hair is interesting lol.
the first 100 seconds were already worth the watch. thats what I love about yt: connecting with people that explain certain ideas in a certain, very striking way. thanks for that
I am 67 years old and always hated my curly hair because I had no clue how to take care of it....your videos are very educational and I will start following your suggestions. I love your hair!! 🥰
I am so happy you shared this video. Since I can remember my hair looks like your hair in the first part of the video. I have always struggled with frizzy waves that have caused me to be self conscious about my hair for YEARS! To ‘fix’ my hair I tend to blow dry, straighten, or curl it but still end up being frizzy. Well in all my baby pics I had an Afro of curly curls!!! I’m definitely type 2b/c but my hair has been mistreated for so long. I’ve started my curly journey and I hope to have pretty bouncy curls like yours some day. Thank you!
So thankful to find this video when I did! I am a couple months into CG Method and that's EXACTLY the cross roads I was at - I know the WHATS and I've been doing them for a bit - but knowing more about why you do what you do so you can see when that certain step is or isn't necessary - is so important! I feel like this helped me with exactly what you hoped it would - just gain a big of control over my own experience. When you're still learning you pretty much just do what others have done and hope it works - now that I have a good baseline I feel like I can change small things to see the good or bad results for MY hair. Thanks a bunch :)
All I can say is wow! It's amazing what you can accomplish when you know what you're doing! Your hair looks amazing! Thank you so much for making these so informative videos you're giving me hope for my wild mane lol!
Stumbled upon your channel today. At first I was impatient, but then quickly realized what a gem this video is! So informative and great job explaining this. That impatience only shows my lack of knowledge and there is no quick fix to have fantastic hair. It’s a process as you’ve explained. Love it and Now Subscribed ;)
I am 24 and had corkscrew curls when i was little. That changed because i used Pantene Pro V, brushed my hair etc. after my mum stopped washing my hair. I straightened my hair chemically for years now and think i want to get them back.
Oh my God.! I've been searching, for years, for more wavy/curly girls to follow to teach me more about my curls. Can't believe I just stumbled upon this video. So excited to look more into your channel 😁💙
So happy to have found you! I did some pretty offensive damage with bleach on my hair this year after having beautiful, natural hair for 2 years. My curls are RUINED. Hoping to see if Olaplex xan make a difference. I now understand protein and the importance of hydration, etc because of you. THANK YOU!
This is SO helpful! I love how you really looked at each step critically to decide what your hair needs, and also that you were flexible and okay with changing it up when needed. I am looking forward to getting really familiar with my own hair's needs like this as a I go along!
I love the Olaplex #3 !! Awesome product ! Thank you so much for this video :]]] I’ve been watching videos and reading articles about the basics of when you need protein vs moisturizer and porosity indications and everything else BUT it was very overwhelming. Seeing you revaluate and make decisions in real time (while your hair is WET) is super super helpful! Thank you !
It's refreshing it is to hear an intelligent and free thinker "SISTER" talk. If only our education system taught kids how to assess the world and think for themselves, like you are able to do with us. Thank you for all the info you offered, I am going to see if I can figure it out. If not, hopefully I can come back to you to get clarification or ask you questions. You 're awesome!
Thank you so much for your comment. This is a video that people need to "get" and i am so glad you do! I would definitely love updates and to answer any questions as they pop up!
My hair has gone from straight, to wavy, to even pretty curly at the roots and I have no idea what to do with it or where to even start helping it! It curls at the bottom, is straight in the middle and curly at the roots! It's so frizzy! Any suggestions for a desperate head of hair?!
the reason why your hair is frizzy is because it needs moisture for example when you get out if the shower put in a styler silicone, parabens, sulfate free and that will lock in all the water to make your hair less frizzy you can get Cantu curler activator it smells so good and its a good way to start out!
@@kellyfrench163 use a styler- where are you from? I'm from the UK so I LOVE the Boots curl creme it's only £1.99 too and was recently made curly girl safe (they removed the silicone and sulfate). I also love Noughty products and Shea Moisture. But if you're American, there are brands in your country called Cantu and Devacurl that make curl creams. :)
I am subscribing because one day is not the next day and you took the time to explain what to look for at that one moment so that you can make the best hair care choices for that day.
I know this video is old but I wanted to say THANK YOU! I’m new to taking care of my curly hair and you’re the first person I’ve found to explain when and WHY you need protein!!! God no one explains these things! So many people just say oh try this, put in this! Without simply explaining things. I’m a little less overwhelmed!
my hair confuses me, it goes slightly wavy when wet but once it’s dry and look like just frizzy slightly curved straight hair, only 3 or 2 really thin strands of my hair will hold the wave when dry.
Great information on what to do. I, however, do not know the signs my hair manifests if it needs protein. I have discovered your station only recently, so I will go back and see if you've done a video on that. From one curly mop to another--thank you! 😊💕
I'm usually the opposite and always can use extra protein but I loved seeing the thought process to determine exactly how much more moisture or protein you need based on how your hair is acting
OMD your curls turned out gorgeous! I have a hard time with my hair at the moment. I always had the typical straight asian hair, but it got curly as I got older. I am still figuring out what to do with my hair, for it to be in its best state possible. But overall it's very hard for me. Wish you could give me some personal tips, because your curls look soo great!
I came across this video because i’m struggling with my hair right now. My texture and curl pattern have changed DRASTICALLY over the past year, and i’m learning what is needed for my hair type and why. There are still many things i don’t know yet (which i thought i did) but experimenting with new products gets confusing and expensive. Could you make a video in the future going in depth what forms of protein in hair products there are, when to use leave-in conditioners, styling creams, gels, according to your hair type? Sometimes i feel overwhelmed doing research on what best suits my hair, using minimal products. Love the curls btw!
I try to avoid going into specifics on other hair types simply because I can’t personally test it. I can however break down products and when to use them etc, generally. What is your hair type? Maybe in the mean time I can point you in the direction of someone similar so you can learn from their experience?
Those are some amazing curls you've got there! I only just started the CG-method and I am eager to know the results that happen in time. Thanks for the video. You are a sight for a sore eye. xoxo
Great video! Two questions: 1: do you have to use a shampoo/low poo to take out Olaplex? Won’t a cowash work? 2: how did you apply a gel to 50% dry hair? Did you went the hair or your hands first? Whenever I’ve tried something similar (smasters for example) my hair kind of sticks to the gel and it’s like a glue feeling and then it’s really stringy after it dries.
Lol I have more tighter curls but my grandmother’s hair is like yours. She said she has *never* seen her curls before. It would always look straight or stretched (like yours in the beginning) after shampooing it. Tried a few of these tips on her curls and they really popped! -I used a mousse instead of gel. She was actually so happy and amazed at her hair. So thank you, from us!
I would like to say wow!!! I ran across this video randomly. But Omgawd this is exactly what I have been trying to figure out my whole 52 years of life. When I was a lil girl, my mother brushed my hair and I looked like at 4 years old, a wild crazy poof out of control. I have long, thick, course, very dry, very curly hair that I try a zillion products trying to "rejuvenate" and moisturize my hair so that my curls have shape, definition without the frizz. I am about to go watch all your videos and attempt to answer my why and what and how questions. THANK YOU so much!!! I learned more from this one video than I have on my own ever!!! 👏👏👏💖.
I’m fairly new to knowing my hair is curly, I’ve been wondering why my underneath curls have gone funny but your example of a strand that needs protein is exactly what mine look like!! I’m off to find a protein styler.. thank you xxx🌟
I'd love to see a video of your favourite products for specific categories such as favourite moisturising products, protein products, defining products etc!
Only just found this video - whilst going on a hunt for any videos that can help with my current curl crisis. What a brilliant video. I definitely need to be asking questions of my hair!!! Thank you.
YYAAAASS I’m so glad I found you! My hairs IDENTICAL to yours (just a bit more blonde) and extremely dry :/ Hoping to find some good tips on your channel! Already found out I need to get some protien so thank you!
Thank you for this video. It's been really helpful. I have an issue with my hair: the day I wash it, it's all curly and great. But soon as I sleep on it, my hair is all ruined and I have to tie it up again. Now washing my hair is not a quick-pop-into-the-shower affair. It is work. So this overnight undoing of my hard work puts me off, and washing my hair then feels like a task with very less 'returns'. So my question is - what do I do about the flattening of my curls because of sleeping on them? Is there a quick way of bringing them back to life? Or is there a way I can avoid this flattening?
I have low porosity wavy hair and need some shampoo/conditioner suggestions. I have a whole section of hair that WONT wave and everything is so limp. I have a feeling it’s because shea moisture is too heavy for my hair and that I’m using a low protein shampoo 😬
Which shea moisture line are using? They added more to work for more types of curlies. Some are designed for more like 3c-4c hair and are really heavy if your hair is more wavy. I use their coconut and hibiscus line for my 3a/3b hair and that works really well for me. I'd do some more research into their products to see more of what you need.
@@thecarrottop123 I have used multiple ones. I have tried the Superfruit line (conditioner and masque) Fruit Infused Weightless line (shampoo & conditioner) and I'm currently using their low porosity line. I don't know if I just need to try a different brand or if I'm just dumb...is it the weather? My hair doesn't want to wave anymore. :(
@@ibsqueen Are your stylers sulfate and silicone free? Really really check the ingredients because sometimes they say they aren't and silicones are the first thing on the list. I might go in with a sulfate shampoo and really make sure that all the gunk is out of your hair and then go back to sulfate/silicone free. If you're sulfate free but not fully silicone free you get a lot of buildup and it weighs your hair down. That's what it was for me at least.
Kassie F I don’t use stylers because I hate the feeling. I never had to before with my waves and they were still living their lives until recently. Too bad I can’t post pictures 😂
This is great, thank you! My little curly daughter has hair very much like yours! I think the people who don’t appreciate your explanations are clearly *not* Why People, lol! Those of us who want as much information as possible and more analysis really appreciate your approach.
I'd love to hear more about your philosophy about your hair being touched while drying. I have never in my curly life intentionally let my hair air dry so much before putting product on so your whole approach is very new to me. Just curious to know if you are very particular about keeping your drying hair from being touched by your own hands, pulled by putting a shirt on, brushed up against your couch. Any challenges to your current routine? Any reasons for why you do what you do WHILE drying?
I put my curly hair in a t-shirt so it doesn’t get touched. Wait till it’s about 50% dry put product in. then back in the shirt again till about 25% dry. The T-shirt absorb the product and also doesn’t irritate the curls like towels do. Then air dry the rest of the time. Try sleeping with a silk pillow case or anything silk against your head and the pillow. Skin shouldn’t mess up the curls. Hope that helps
How hard is your cast? How much gel did you use? Great video but when you get to the styling part it's missing. I get to the cast part - not really sure how much gel or how hard I need to get it yet - then not sure how to un-cast. So it's dry, curly, has a cast and then what? I don't know how to uncast without ending up frizzy. I'm only a week in to CG so maybe my hair is still dumb? I am getting the curl and but it is accompanied by frizz so I think it's what I am doing after the cast. Help!
omg thank you so much I always have trouble with my hair its frizzy, dry, and course, doesmt retain moisture for more than a day and always try new things and whenever I go to a hair stylist they always just try to sell me stuff instead of explaining.
My hair has nice curls..underneath. and then I have waivy weird cracked out doesn’t know what it wants in this life hair on top. And I’ve never known what to do with it so I just straighten my hair. I will try the Aussie freeze gel, thank you. I hope I can wear my hair curly for once.
The top takes the longest to come back for a lot of people, myself included. We mess with it the most and it often takes the most daily abuse! Give it time and regular TLC
I feel like I can never get my curls root to tip I have no idea what to do some of my curls are so beautiful but all of the others just give up at the top.
Wow, that is some happy hair! Well done, it looks amazing. Thanks for explaining moisture vs protein, seems like every product I look at (especially for fine hair) is all about protein!
I have a question...when i shampoo my hair they are curly for 1 or 2 days and after that they become frizzy and all the curls are gone ... what's the problem with them??😢😢
Im so confused. I thought I had protein overload a while ago so I cut it out of my routine and only used moisture products. Now I think I might have moisture overload. It feels mushy when It gets wet in the shower. It’s kinda dry and has no definition at all. Like i DONT think I’ve ever seen my hair this undefined it used to be so curly. I don’t know if I should use a protein treatment or moisture.
Okay so I’m a “how” person and just now how do you know what products have protein in them? And how do you know when your hair needs protein over moisture?
I’m still learning about my curly hair. And one thing I’ve noticed is that my baby hairs dry up immediately after I put water on it. It never stays wet. And my baby hairs feel brittle, possibly breakage. As well as in the back of my head, the baby hairs down my neck experience breakage as well. My hair is constantly frizzy and dry. And my hair is naturally on the 2c-3b section but the curls are never defined. Idk what products to use so I need help please!! 😔
My hair is so much like yours and I thought it was 3a. But you consider yours to be wavy? Can you please explain why ? Also how do I figure out if my gel has protein ?
I am so lost. I have medium length hair with loose curls however they always frizz. I cant plop my hair because it makes the back half straight and the roots at the top end up horrible with no volume. If it air dries the rootd are still extremely flat and messed up but at least the back curls a little. I can't do the pineapple method for volume because it'll leave dents in my hair and straighten the roots, I don't know what to do :(((
I don't get the steam part. in humid hot days, i get frizz galore. how did you end up with no frizz? and i thought heat was bad for hair? sorry...newbie to the whole CGM. Anyone may answer. TY!
Oh my goodness this is AMAZING and so so helpful! I still don't really have any products :'-) But this is so great in giving me an idea of how to be less 'robotic' about washing my hair. Using CG friendly products isn't enough to get my hair healthy, I need to learn to listen to it too. You're awesome! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
So you did nothing to your hair after you put the freeze gel in it? It does not look oily or crunchy. No matter what I use my hair turns out crunch, wet or oily looking. What is a protein product? I know this may sound so simple but my hair has gone from shiny pretty wavy hair, I could wash and let air dry, to frizzy dry and with moose pretty curly but wet looking hair. I am to the point of wanting to chop it all off. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I just cant keep purchasing hair products that do not work or that I may not be using properly. ( I do not dye my hair or use any heat. Maybe I need to)
I've just started embracing my curly hair, and my biggest hold back is because I'm a water polo player/swimmer I'm in chlorinated water constantly and it makes my hair so dry :/ does anyone have any recommendations
My hair loves protein but gets over hydrated very easily (very fine and medium density hair type), can you recommend a protein treatment that does not have so much hydrating factors in it? Thanks!!!
I love this video. I’m still a little confused on protein etc. I’d love a quiz I could take to find what my hair needs because I’m starting to believe it just is the way it is and I can’t change it. I tried an aphogee protein treatment once and didn’t really see results but my hair is very moisturized and can get weighed down by products. It’s less and less curly as I get older and harder to get definition and volume. definitely going to have to look at your styling routine. I don’t usually apply product half way through. Then again I’m usually wash and out the door.
Question: You mention you prefer to leave Olaplex on only for 10-15 min. In the video it doesn’t look like you got back in shower or rinsed it after you applied the Olaplex... so could you explain what happens here? Does it stay in? Or do you go back to rinse it out? Thank you!!
This video was soooo good. Thank you so much Janelle. I'm a why person and I've not seen anyone explain this topic this well in my two months of *constant* research. Your hair looks amazing! Do you have a list of some of your favorite protien vs protien free gels?
i give up on my hair. the bottom really beautiful and curly but the top is all wavy and disgusting i hate it so much. i’ve been doing curly girl hair method since march and still no different and the annoying thing is when i was little i had coils idk wat i’m doing wrong
So i have this thing where the front side of hair curls and on the back side it somewhat curls at the bottom but mostly straight. How can I improve it?

Does your hair ever have a "stringy" look after certain products...& if so...what causes it?
UGH my hair looks like this after ONE DAY of curls... i’m sad idk what’s going on
Same. I don’t know how to have my hair get to even a day 2
wow- so no foam/mousse & just air dried. Insane volume, looks amazing. Great info. as always!
So if my hair isn't curling from the roots, it might need more protein? It spirals like crazy at the ends, but the top is mostly flat, even my face-framing pieces. I'd love to see a video about how your hair changes in between wash days!
Do you plop? diffuse? how do you apply products? what kinds of product do you use? how long is your hair? how long have you been following cg (if you are?) If you have a looser curl pattern these things can be the difference between frizzy straight hair and 3a curls :)
all these things will impact how your hair curls :)
I would like to see what you do tomorrow. Do you comb it? How do you make it look good? I have no issues making it curl, but the next day I look like a lion because I feel I need to comb it or something.
Same! Usually most curly girls have the problem of their ends curling but im the total opposite. my roots stay flat ):
Oh yes me too! Always so flat at the roots.
Ughh I hate having so much products in my hair
@Blue Sky was it the gel that gave her all that volume i just want a product that can give me definition and volume
the first 100 seconds were already worth the watch. thats what I love about yt: connecting with people that explain certain ideas in a certain, very striking way. thanks for that
I am 67 years old and always hated my curly hair because I had no clue how to take care of it....your videos are very educational and I will start following your suggestions. I love your hair!! 🥰
Thank you! My daughter has curly hair i have wavy to straight hair. So I really am trying to learn about her curly hair to help her.
Thank you!
Do you know what is needed here? An Infographic!!!
Gosh one of the most informative and universally applicable tutorials I’ve ever seen on TH-cam. Great job
This was great. I always thought low porosity hair didn't need protein. Thank you!
THANK YOU!
Please come up with more “WHY” videos :) super helpful for the beginning, it help me feel more confident before I ask any WHATs :)
Thank you !
BEST VIDEO EVER!!! Between you and Manesbymell you guys can complete the curly girl world!! ❤😍
Thank you so much for the tips!!!!
Mousse and scrunch :)
@@rosie6087 I live in the US! I'll have to try those! Thank you!
I am subscribing because one day is not the next day and you took the time to explain what to look for at that one moment so that you can make the best hair care choices for that day.
Im confused now bc i saw other channels putting olaplex in dry hair🤔which way is it?
I'm probably not the first to say this, but in the thumbnail you look like Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing. Also, your curls look beautiful.
Those are some amazing curls you've got there! I only just started the CG-method and I am eager to know the results that happen in time. Thanks for the video. You are a sight for a sore eye. xoxo
Great video! Two questions:
1: do you have to use a shampoo/low poo to take out Olaplex?
Wow! Dramatic results. Beautiful hair! You should be so proud!!
Such pretty curls! Thanks for another awesome video! Got some olaplex because of your recommendation!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR REVIVED CURLS!! YOUR HAIR LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!
How do you know when a product has protein? What are common proteins?
i hope she replies to this
Only just found this video - whilst going on a hunt for any videos that can help with my current curl crisis. What a brilliant video. I definitely need to be asking questions of my hair!!! Thank you.
Really informative hearing your thought process and seeing the problem solving in action. Please do more of these videos.
YYAAAASS I’m so glad I found you! My hairs IDENTICAL to yours (just a bit more blonde) and extremely dry :/ Hoping to find some good tips on your channel! Already found out I need to get some protien so thank you!
Omg your hair looks amazing, great definition and volume
Sammmeeee 😩
Which shea moisture line are using? They added more to work for more types of curlies. Some are designed for more like 3c-4c hair and are really heavy if your hair is more wavy. I use their coconut and hibiscus line for my 3a/3b hair and that works really well for me. I'd do some more research into their products to see more of what you need.
@@thecarrottop123 I have used multiple ones.
I have tried the
Superfruit line (conditioner and masque)
Fruit Infused Weightless line (shampoo & conditioner)
and I'm currently using their low porosity line.
Waiting for answers⏳
I put my curly hair in a t-shirt so it doesn’t get touched. Wait till it’s about 50% dry put product in. then back in the shirt again till about 25% dry. The T-shirt absorb the product and also doesn’t irritate the curls like towels do. Then air dry the rest of the time. Try sleeping with a silk pillow case or anything silk against your head and the pillow. Skin shouldn’t mess up the curls. Hope that helps
@@Tripsshetakes I use a satin hair wrap which works like silk would. I wear it around like you do the t-shirt. Also it cost $3

Help!
This video isn’t really about styling it’s about knowing your hair and what it needs. For help with what and how much watch my washday secrets video!
omg thank you so much I always have trouble with my hair its frizzy, dry, and course, doesmt retain moisture for more than a day and always try new things and whenever I go to a hair stylist they always just try to sell me stuff instead of explaining.
What do you do about curly hair that sticks together, catches tiny fuss & creates a knot?
Wow, that is some happy hair! Well done, it looks amazing. Thanks for explaining moisture vs protein, seems like every product I look at (especially for fine hair) is all about protein!
I have a question...when i shampoo my hair they are curly for 1 or 2 days and after that they become frizzy and all the curls are gone ... what's the problem with them??😢😢
Same😭😭 and I hate it soo much

Im so confused. I thought I had protein overload a while ago so I cut it out of my routine and only used moisture products. Now I think I might have moisture overload. It feels mushy when It gets wet in the shower. It’s kinda dry and has no definition at all. Like i DONT think I’ve ever seen my hair this undefined it used to be so curly. I don’t know if I should use a protein treatment or moisture.
Your hair turned out great at the end!! So many curls! And what Funk said also, I would love to hear some refresh ideas for between washes.
Okay so I’m a “how” person and just now how do you know what products have protein in them? And how do you know when your hair needs protein over moisture?
Jannelle...girl we are hair twins. Bout to try this Olaplex #3 asap.
Thank you I found this very interesting and helpful I'm only in my 7th week of cg method so I've been researching and watching tons of stuff
Maybe I need to)
You can get protein vitamins and crush them and put them in your shampoo and conditioner
I've just started embracing my curly hair, and my biggest hold back is because I'm a water polo player/swimmer I'm in chlorinated water constantly and it makes my hair so dry :/ does anyone have any recommendations
my curls look the exact same as yours coming out of the shower. But they dry way less curly, what should I do?
Even though this video is not about aloe vera gel, can you talk about it and applying to hair? Thank you.
I put aloe vera and coconut oil in my hair and my curls are great and I actually have volume! Thank you
Finally! Somebody with a similar curl of mine! Thank God! 💕💕💕😍
claudia evangelista yeah same but I don't think im gonna do all of that specially the part with that weird tool
Could you make a written version of this/ frequent problems and ways to tackle them? Thanks!!!
Bounce Curls Light Creme Gel is an excellent high protein styler that's super lightweight. I have the thinnest hair and in never weighs mine down.
I will put together a video!
even your messy hair looks better than my hair in it's best day
i give up on my hair. the bottom really beautiful and curly but the top is all wavy and disgusting i hate it so much. i’ve been doing curly girl hair method since march and still no different
and the annoying thing is when i was little i had coils
idk wat i’m doing wrong
So i have this thing where the front side of hair curls and on the back side it somewhat curls at the bottom but mostly straight. How can I improve it?
