I have watched a lot of reactions to this song and you are the first one to recognize that it was his family that supported and loved Tom through his addiction and mental breakdown. They didn't give up on him and he is not giving up on them. This man was raised with family values, even though he made poor choices. Yes, he had a lot to get off his chest. He has been receiving a lot of hate and criticism lately. Classy way to do it! #HOG
HOG stands for hangovergang. Hangover gang initially is what Tom called his close circle of friends that he would go out and party with. He said the the term stood for having the best time of your life. Over time when he started music he gave that name to his Fanbase. And of course he was drinking and on drugs at that time however, as he became sober, the term “hangovergang” still means having the best time of your life, but without drugs or alcohol!

Fun fact: this is the shortened version of “God Mode”. The first one is over 10 minutes long and Nova and Tom said it made him physically sick due to the physical exertion of recording it! TOMS STORY:
Tom MacDonald is 100% independent! He’s had major record labels after him daily for at least 6 years and he turns them ALL down! After you listen to a few of his songs, especially the music industry and sad rappers, you’ll understand why. He writes all of his songs, makes his beats, and his girlfriend Nova Rockafeller shoots and edits all of his videos! That’s why dear rappers is so simplistic because they were just starting out really.
He dabbled in bands and had managers in the past, but that’s why he struggled so much and that’s why he wasn’t as successful as he should’ve been until he wrote dear rappers. That’s after he had cut everybody out and started doing things his way on his time with no middleman! He spent about nine months battling crippling depression. He contemplated suicide several nights and he was a severe alcoholic! After what seemed to be an eternity, he spiritually came out of that depression and quit everything cold turkey, not only alcohol but also marijuana and certain anxiety medication. Him and Nova could barely pay rent to keep a home after that but he stayed strong and ultimately wrote Dear Rappers which was his very first video to go viral, and the rest is history!
He shoots his videos wherever is convenient whether it’s in his own home, in his backyard, or in an alley! He will even go in grocery stores and randomly shoot a scene for a video lol. He personally signs albums ordered by his fans (for a short time with each new drop) and he also packages and ships the albums and all merchandise with close family and friends assistance hangovergang.com. He builds the sets for all of his videos! Also, he used to be a carpenter as well as a professional wrestler in Canada, he’s from Mission British Columbia. He spent some time in college but that just wasn’t where his life was going. He had some experiences with the illuminati, not sure for how long or what exactly the nature of that was, but I know that he left to follow Christianity!
The set for clown world was in his backyard l! He took number one on iTunes with “best rapper ever” beating Eminem’s entire last new album!! Recently he took number one from Cardi B on iTunes with clown world! He’s taken the spot from her to number one multiple times! He’s also taken number one on billboards top emerging new artist! He made number one recently on hip-hop Billboard charts and number two in all genres! He also charted on seven billboards with Nova Rockafeller and Brandon Hart which included 2 number ones with “No Good Bastard’s” and made it on 7 MORE billboards with “Church”! He also just got three number ones and several other charts on billboards with “snowflakes“, and 10 spots on billboards including 2 number ones with “Brainwashed“!! He also got 2 more number ones on billboards with Adam Calhoun “New World Order”!
He dropped something very different in his colab album “As Far as the Stars” with Nova and Brandon Hart! He dropped 2 albums 9/3/21 #UsAgainstTheWorld #NoGutsNoGlory. Great reaction, that was a ride. Tom is at the top right now and there are a lot of diss tracks out against him, but that is not his lane, he did do a Rap Battle with Mac Lethal, Lethal Injection, Single White Female (by Mac Lethal) and Mac Lethal Sucks, Mac Lethal was established and bigger than Tom, been on Ellen and had apparently been a Battle Rapper in the day, after Tom's Mac Lethal Sucks, Mac Lethal turned off his socials for 3 months lost followers and his career never recovered, Tom said at the time he'd never do personal disses again because it took him to a dark place. #HOG UK
Next to Nova, the older man holding the dog is Nova's dad, he had a cameo in Tom's I Wish music video, the guy standing next to Tom's sister holding the dog is Tom's brother in law Jenna's husband, he operates the drone camera under Nova's instructions. #HOG UK

What Tom has done for his family
Here’s some of what I know that Tom did with his money. His first check from Tunecore off of “dear rappers” was 10 grand and he use that to invest in new equipment and got a better place to live. Then I know that he bought his sisters wedding gown a few years later, which was 10 grand. Then he paid off his parents mortgage so his mom and dad could retire. He bought all new appliances for their house and sent his mom a LV purse loaded with 100,000 to boot! Tom also got his dad a boat and paid for his dad to go sailing the ocean. He also paid for his dad to visit Nepal. I also know that on two different occasions he had a big sale for “ALL” funding to go to veterans charities!! Over 200k combined!) He also added his sister Jenna Emily (hence the “Emily” tat above his eyebrow) to join his production and quit her job as a nurse in Canada cause it was keeping her depressed and upset so she gotta work visa and moved to the states! Who else does that?!?

Whether the video gets claimed or not, you don’t need the logo on screen. Won’t affect the results. Tom can whitelist you but he obviously has everyone asking.
No he is not #1 independent,proven,Ren,prof,etc ... Way better than him
I understand if you don't like Tom's music but an opinion on who's a better artist is just that, an opinion, compared to numbers that factually show who is bigger. If you count views, downloads, streams, subscribers, billboard plaques etc., then Tom is definitely bigger. I love Ren but Tom gets more views in one day after he drops a video than the total views most of Ren's videos have.
