- These are the sponsor ads for the andy griffith show during its early years. The ads are unique because they are performed by the cast and have not been seen in over 40 years. This is a must see for Mayberry fans.

I remember Griffith doing commercials for Post Toasties. That was my dad's favorite cereal by far.
Apparently, Sanka and Post Toasties cause your speech to become uncoordinated with your lip movements.
1) As seen at the end of "The Keeper of the Flame" [January 8, 1962].
2) As seen at the end of "Bailey's Bad Boy" [January 15, 1962].
3) As seen at the end of "The Manicurist" [January 22, 1962].
4) As seen at the end of "The Jinx" [January 29, 1962].
5) As seen at the end of "Jailbreak" [February 5, 1962].
6) As seen at the end of "A Medal for Opie" [February 12, 1962].
I think I'm starting to remember these commercials but back then three or four years of age I did not realize they were commercials
Taste like oatmeal cookies? I'd buy a cereal like that in this age of 'health food'.
I watch Andy all the time, I don't remember these.
That's because they were at the ending of the episodes when they first aired.
That makes these very special....other than the product itself.
No normal person would buy something called _Sanka._
Still have Sanka in my pantry, just like my grandmother did long ago. Another must have is a little pound cake or some tea cookies for an impromptu guest who might drop over for a visit ☕️

I do not remember any of these commercials. I do remember the products. My mother drank gasoline that looked and poured like maple syrup. She could not stand any instant coffee!😂😂

I drink coffee for the taste, not the caffeine.
That right there is my main motivation for being the best Christian I can be, because rest assured, the only coffee available in Hell's breakroom is 97% caffeine-free Sanka.
