What if he is framed? What if this movie concept was like the movie "Groundhog Day", where he has to find the killer before the killer comes for his daughter? Clearly the man knows a lot about the law and police enforcement. So maybe he's helping the police find the killer. But what if he had bad history. But they are looking for the fall guy. Perhaps it's like the movie. "The Negotiator". Where he got framed for something he didn't do and so he has one of the culprits that was involved in his downfall. Now he's looking for the other guys. I don't know.
I'll add this, I'm not into zodiac signs or anything but the things that I read up on Geminis makes so much sense about his character. "Changeable Moods" "Restless" "Social" "Charming" But the movie is coming out on August 2nd of this year. That's in LEO territory. Don't know if this helps the situation. But Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde give off strong Gemini vibes.
Bruh I agree about Shamylan he's honestly hit or miss for me and I think because he set the bar so high with the Sixth Sense anything he did after that just looked mid or sloppy in comparison but this actually looks interesting and I want to watch it because knowing Shamylan it will have some crazy plot twist at the end nobody saw coming I also heard this is based on a true story Shamalan said he read a story where police had caught criminals on the run by inviting them to a NFL game and Shamalan thought the story was hilarious
What if the guy in the phone is the Butcher? Or, what if Josh's character loses it, turns himself in and the Butcher gets caught and is someone else at the concert. 😂😂
At first, I thought - this looks interesting. But then I thought - this is nonsense. Why would police choose a concert to try to catch a killer? the building is huge, there is like a 100k people attending, that would be so difficult. If they know the identity of the person they are trying to arrest, why not a smaller venue? A shopping mall? Why not arrest him at work or at home? I mean I assume the police would aim to arrest anyone around the least members of the public as possible. But I will watch it anyway and moan about the plot holes later :)
From what I heard it's based on a true story Shamalan said he got the inspiration from a story of how local police in a town announced they were giving away NFL tickets in order to trap a couple of criminals on the run and it worked Shamalan thought the story was funny and used it for inspiration for Trap
My theory is how the police know he will be at the concert. The beginning says it’s it’s part of the shyamalan universe, so I think it’s the kid from 6th sense that’s the twist
It says it’s a NEW entry in the universe. Maybe there’s no twist, just an exciting cat and mouse chase. Hartnett loves quirky roles so I’m stoked to see it. We’re going opening night. 😊

Please, really dont use titles like that, seems like a big spoiler, although its an speculation, the idea is in my mind now and if its true, the movie will loose the impact the twist is intended to create. Speak about it while talking about it, cant help to read the titles about the youtube videos that are generated via some kind of algorithm. Thanx
Anyone notice the audience, crowd are dressed RETRO? Like Michael Jackson shiny white jackets, FLANNEL BUTTONED shirts?, kinda, 90’s-2000’s fashion? That threw me off! Vinyl fake leather jackets, Levi jackets? Retro tennis shoes? So maybe Josh’s character is looking back?

If he's not the killer then movie be crap cuz I only wanna see the film cuz it's through the pov of the killer. Take away the main character being the killer means movie is boring n not good. Straight up.

I'm hoping it's good but I hate everyone says oh the twist is this like they making movie seem generic with all their stupid lame ideas like it could be his daughter or two killers or he's captured the killer those ideas suck so bad make the move a stupid comedy. Think the director is smarter than that. People are so dumb these days.
