@@NomadGurkha check his extensive filmography. He went into independent films so he could pick his own roles with directors he admires and not some MS studio committees. Some are streaming and quite a few VOD. We have a large collection as everyone in the family likes his work.
I didn't know until AFTER the movie that she was his daughter!😊 I enjoyed every song I heard. Sometimes you are listening to a score of a movie and it's just decent. This was not that. Even when I saw the trailer I was like, Oooo! What's this song??? Her voice is pretty! Her music definitely compliments the whole movie!

No joke, I was very pleasantly surprised by the score, all the songs are so fitting and are still stuck in my head.
Everyone was like “he was on a hiatus” I saw him in Oppenheimer and I was like “ayyye”

The fact that we have wes Anderson,M.night shamalyin ,and Quinton tarantino is make film industry so exciting and diverse i love the fact that they have their creative freedom to do what they like and we get to enjoy it .
I love the movie ‘Trap’ and Josh Hartnett steals every minute of screen time ! He’s brilliant as always ! Intense ! Riveting! Provocative ! Unpredictable! Hot!
We already have our tix! Really looking forward to seeing the versatile Josh again in an out of the box role. We’ve been huge fans following him for 20+ years. And my husband gets a huge tickle out of me when I drool 😂

“Release” is still very good to listen to. Pay attention to the songs and the lyrics. They match with the movie. Storytelling
That happens when someone creates a story and picture around songs. If it's a short one, it's called a music video and MTV used to play it. If it's feature length, then it's called a Tarantino movie. Now, M. Night made a 90 mins promo music video for her own daughter. Obviously the song "fits"

IKR! I came out of the movie singing ‘there’s a ghost in my house ‘ ..which is the piano warmup from Raven to a riveting scene 🎬! Enjoyed this movie . Much like the 90’s suspense /mystery/murder thrillers on tv . So glad it wasn’t a mega bloody mass body part gross out blockbuster

Honestly looking forward to watching this. I also I kinda agree with M. Night's point about how most concerts in movies are shot. With the exception of gorilla style, a lot of concerts in films range from looking okay to this feels rather off.

M night Shalaman has some amazing films under his belt! I still go back and watch ‘The sixth sense ‘ at least once a year . Unbreakable is phenomenal movie absolutely my favorite M night Shalaman !! This film is already one of my new favorites . I took my husband this evening and he really enjoyed it

One of my favourite filmmakers. Except for Last Airbender, I adore every other movie he has done.
yeah, some hits and misses. but, i like that he still makes original stories and his films still put people at the edge of their seats.
I love the man too but aside from airbender I would add after earth and the happening, old too to be honest lol

I saw the movie and from 1 to 10 I give it a 12 I think it's one of the best thrillers I've ever seen.....
... (Because I work backstage for concerts it made me like the movie 🎫 so much more because this is where I work I work behind the scenes) and all I can say is every part of the movie was thrilling I was totally on the edge 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

The songs were all really nice. I was so surprised to learn when watching the end credits that she wrote, co-wrote all the songs and performed all of them. She's incredibly talented.
Lucky number slevin and bonraku and penny dreadful are one of my favorite movies of josh 😊

Love M Night. This movie was pretty interesting. Kept my attention the way Josh (great actor) was trying to figure out how someone who was a serial killer could mastermind himself out of another situation and not be caught. Daughters an amazing singer.
I like Josh and he would make a great Hitchhiker character in Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. The movie was watchable but it was a weak plot. I can't believe anyone would invest money in this stupid script. Like i said if you shut of your brain its not to bad but they should have made it bloody if it was gonna be so weak in other areas.

Saw this today. It was a lot better than I expected based on the reviews critics were giving it. I'd give it like a 7.2/10. Some of the characters' actions didn't make sense, but other than that the film was really good.

I watched it like 5 times
it felt short.
1st: he (director) can make the concert scene as short as possible and focus on the plot of the story. (i know he’s her daughter, but it looks like a commercial promotion for her daughter)
2nd: why on earth you cast your daughter? (There’s a lot of more convincing actress out there)
3rd: i expect more from this Director and from Josh Hartnett. He’s so good in this movie.
4th: why focus on the concert for 1 hour?

Dude I was shocked! A couple of the m night movies have been really bad. I was really skeptical going into this movie. The trailer looked great, but I assumed they showed all the good parts in the trailer. I WAS WRONG. This was a really really really good movie. I would 100% watch it again. Josh Hartnet did a really good job.
